When I picked it up Earlier today I wore goggles, a good fitting n95 mask and rubber gloves like surgeons and dentists wear. Don't see, smell, or taste any problems with the water (although I do have a filtering system)
Not a closed gas station anywhere
The farms out east and the wineries are still running

Seriously, we need to be prepared, but this is not the apocalypse. Supermarkets are already better stocked. Water and toilet paper are easily available. I had my choice of chicken, pork, beef, or fish at the supermarket. Plenty of coffee, sugar, flour, and pasta. There was an annoying shortage of string cheese, though.

Doctors have been asking the public not to wear N95 masks unless you have the virus.By you wearing one to keep from getting sick is taking a mask away from a healthcare worker who desperately needs it to keep patients alive.
The rubber gloves is a good idea but really Galrad the healthcare workers need the masks
You can't donate the one who wore but please think about not wearing another one.

No idea for certain what will happen. I'll ensure my generator stays in good working order.
For all the people panicking in my area, there are also a lot like me that know we're not doing any thing useful sitting around and aren't even in that mode. Going into a scared funk is potentially worse than being about as much as you might be able to get done as needed each day. Or maybe limited to what we feel like doing with almost every thing we might need or do being shut down.
Since survival statistics are so much higher than death, it's more likely it won't reach that state. Already too many are starting to be more sick of being stuck at home with so much being closed off.
People have to get out and start trying to live again sooner or later. The people that are supposed to be doing the jobs, will realize that their "fear" is starting to hurt themselves as well.

I agree SA. . However, I used to work with wood a lot making anything from bowls to figurines. Working with a lathe To make that stuff necessitates a good mask so I’ve had most of my mine after my last lathe died. I tried to buy new ones weeks ago only to find sellers where price gouging others for them. You can make a better mask using bras, activated charcoal and coffee filters.
