nature's example

bird flying looking for prey
children running looking too play
building a nest under the leaves
mother cooking dinner
for her children on the run
four eggs hatching in a nest
no bigger then a bowl
four children running home
getting ready for bed they must
four chirping babies waiting
for momma's prey, in a nest
that's no bigger then a bowl
all the children have their own room
four birds sharing only one
single story nest
two story home
single story nest
three story home
single story nest
just enough

A true and telling observation of man’s greed Kickit.
The real sadness of this observation is that we will cut down that tree where the mother bird builds a single nest to build the next three story home.

I can't agree more. Why such waste of resources, why forests swept away to make homes for those who have more than enough, why such ruinous attitude towards Mother Nature? Aren't their children supposed to go on living here or what: is there any project ready for relocation to some other planet? We cut the bough we are sitting on for no apparent reason, except greed, insatiability and total madness.

Both previous comments said it so well. We as the human species always want much more than we need.

Sometimes simple is better.. Just enough to live and be happy is all that you need. Very nicely said Dear Kickit.. I enjoy your insightteddybear
