LONELY MOMENTS
Lonely people in a crowded room
Dance shadows on the wall
People trying to connect
At local town dance hall
Spin spin world makes me giddy
Though i am sober as can be
I only see shadow people
And no shadows comfort me
Only the music dims the pain
as you look for someone to smile
And the night is long
But it lasts for just a while
Such are the ways
Such were the days
Of the lonely ones
In the crowd

Yes it's true that you can be in a room FULL and yet..if not connected with one..still feel so alone.This was a very true, but sad poem
