Moon peeking through the clouds To see what's happening below Ghouls and goblins roam around And rotting mummies move so slow Witches with their brooms zoom around While ghostly specters haunt The living dead along streets shuffle Their ghas

Written on Halloween night, of course. I just took an idea I had and ran with it. I have since converted it to a song. I just realized I left a verse off. Fixed now.
On the road to no where To the very end A sign just read Lands end No where else to go The road just falls away Rock and cliffs Beneath your feet All the rest fall into the sea flying above seagulls The sunshines The skies blu
A mother's love given to her son! Merry Christmas all and everyone!

Just thinking back to all the Christmas presents I have bought. My favorite ones were for my nephews because I could get creative and have fun with it. I got a game one year where you pull boogers and try to keep the brain from popping out of the head.
I'd written this poem years ago.. just remembered it because we're in that season again. Beautiful for some, painful for others..... Just thought I'd put it out there again. Thanks....
I was watching Ms. Scrooge and heard this story told by a preacher. It is a retelling of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. My favorite retelling of this story is Bill Murray's Scrooge.
I lived this poem about eight years ago, and , the poem just popped in my mind. I printed a picture of Santa along with the poem and put some cash in an envelope and everyone was happy. They had a Merry Christmas ! studecar
Well I tried to give a picture of trini Christmas...lol and still feels like I left much out.... A P.S Thanks to Socrates..... "In Trinidad, traditional parang music is largely performed around Christmas time, when singers and instrumentalists (collectively known as the parranderos) travel from house to house in the community, often joined by friends and neighbours family etc. using whatever instruments are to hand. Popular parang instruments include the cuatro (a small, four-string guitar) and maracas (locally known as chac-chacs). Other instruments often used are violin, guitar, claves (locally known as toc-toc), box bass (an indigenous instrument), tambourine, mandolin, bandol, caja (a percussive box instrument), and marimbola (an Afro-Venezuelan instrument). In exchange for the entertainment, parranderos are traditionally given food and drink: pastelle, sorrel, rum and "Ponche Crema" (a form of alcoholic eggnog)." Black cake - the main ingredients are fruits (such as raisins and sultanas) that have been soaked in cherry wine, sherry and Caribbean rum for several months before Christmas. Additional rum is poured over the cake after it has been baked. It can even make one "drunk" if eaten in large amounts.
The list is endless. I got a newspaper on Thanksgiving and it weighed five pounds. Advertisements for an endless shopping list of great deals. The only thing that left me feeling empty, besides the materialism, was having people work on Thanksgiving.
not a good one but i guess some thing is better then nothing lol...hhahaha
I got this idea from the movie review on Netflix. I had fun making up bad review for movies I loved, as I love each of these too.
Celebrating the Thanksgiving holiday by deboning a turkey today. It is the only time I buy a real turkey. The rest of the year I just buy it in a package already formed into thin slices.
Dedicated for my Birthday.. No candle, no cake, my daughter is sick, got engaged with my job, tied on my future plan... I feel blessed for all I have so far.
I have had some good Christmas presents from my past. I once got a shark game I already got, but I kept quiet because I was touched they even got me anything.
I thought of this a long time ago. In a way Mr. Potter never really comes to face any bad consequences for stealing the 8,000 dollars from forgetful Uncle Billy.
Merry Christmas everyone! Hope you have as much peace as I am going to have for the next ten days, outside of visiting my crazy family!
Rudolph was my favorite Christmas movie when I was a kid. I based my whole Christmas belief on it.
I just wanted to share my new years eve.
I love the day And especially the night The soothing ray Of that ethereal light The freshness of air Breathing so deep I do say, I dare Take the great leap And float in the abyss Drifting by, ever silent Deep inside, perfe

A parody of Frosty the Snowman. We have snow all week here, thankfully just the 1 to 2 inches a day stuff.
Looking forward to the holiday breaks I am going to get starting with deer hunting weekend, four days for Thanksgiving, and nine days off for Christmas. I was so happy I got yesterday off as I have worked about 20 Saturdays since I started working in April. This is a parody of I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas.

I was having a hard time remembering all the performances, there have been 11 so far. I was told this would be the last year for it due to lack of student help. I hope they are wrong. I enjoy the talent shows more than anything else on the show. My favorite so far was a girl dancing to Betty Boop, she was spot on.
A Bit Of This and That Since early childhood he had been wandering the world vast treks completed mainly on foot, some like in days of old walking in the footsteps of Stanley and listening to tales told of safari's into the depths of the dark
It is nice to get away from the rat race and enjoy the comfort of mother nature the wilderness waterfall and the odour of barbecues and fresh air of the campsite. Being with the one you love makes it a better place. I wish everyone can enjoy the outdoors in peace and tranquioity Blessings to all

I normally put my Christmas decorations away the first Saturday after the New Year. I will not be decorating again until September 15 when I celebrate Halloween again. There are many who keep theirs up till after the super bowl, some leave them up a lot longer. They are usually the same ones who have rotten pumpkins on their porch in December.
I remember that it used to be that the only businesses that were open for Thanksgiving were gas stations, and that was it. No grocery stores, department stores, or resturants were open on Thanksgiving so the workers could at least have two days off a year.

Call it poetry if you'd like. Better here than the forums. :)
The Warmth of Christmas! Softly falling snow, sleigh bells ringing in the air Whiteness, everywhere, covering up the fields, treetops tipped with snow Footsteps disappear, Christmas time is near Deer prancing on the trail, rabbits hopping
It's summer now, and even though it's raining a lot it's still nice to make the most of the season!
