Today is Canada Day.
New Years
Next week brings Groundhog Day on Friday, February 2 and a lunar eclipse at 6 am on January 31, which is also a blue moon as it is the second full moon of January. We have another blue moon coming in March.

Existential unbalance...
I find it difficult to be with family members at Christmas time. I would love to have a real family and not a disfunctional one. However this is not Andy Griffith, Opey and Aunt Bee Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year Ps I thank connecting singles for all of my friends that I have made God Bless Everyone
Krampus is Christmas figure from German folklore that comes to whip bad children and eat really bad children. He takes the really bad ones and puts them in the basket he wears on his back.
Un der the waterfall She stood Her heavenly naked body on show for all to see Her sensual curves she glides her fingers cold to the touch She tilts her head to the drenching water eyes shut hypnotic to the cold falling flowing rapid flow The
“Due Thanksgiving” is a poem I wrote a couple of weeks before the American holiday of Thanksgiving. Our “Harvest Festival”, if you like. And it’s celebrated on the last Thursday in November, each year. And, a couple of weeks before the actual holiday, I got into a reflective mood, thinking about that first Thanksgiving, (Which has devolved into a very commercialized excuse for a “family feast/get together”, now.) and what it was about. And I ended up writing the poem, “Due Thanksgiving”. It’s my take on what “Thanksgiving” is really SUPPOSED to be about. Although it rarely is, today. And there certainly is a religious aspect and context to the holiday, as well as the poem. It started as a Celebration of God’s bounty to his people. And the particular people who started this great “Thanksgiving” were, in fact, “Christians”. A small offshoot branch of “Christianity”, but Christians, nonetheless. And, for such a long poem, something that you may find interesting, is that, from start to finish, this poem only took me between 2 and 3 hours to write. It was almost like there was a hand guiding mine. But the poem isn’t meant to proselytize Christianity. Most people that know me, will tell you that I’m NOT a “religious” person. And, if you’re speaking in terms of “organized” religions, and/or churches, that’s true enough. But I DO have a “spiritual” side. But I think that a man’s “spiritual” nature is his own business! Between him, and HIS “God”. (Just as I don’t feel MY relationship with MY “Higher Power” is anybody’s business, but mine and His! And you might be interested to know that this poem was originally written in a 4 beat meter (as are the majority of my poems, for some reason I’ve never discovered/understood). But, after people bugging me to “do something” with this poem (which is one of the few poems of mine that I’ve shared, openly, with people who I thought might appreciate it) for somewhere around 30+ years, now, I’ve finally broken down and had a poster made up, with this poem. And, to do that, I tried to break it down into a more natural “spoken” rhythm, which is the version you just read. But there are actually several versions of this poem. (I have a propensity for RE-writing my poems. I NEVER consider one of my poems “finished”. They’re ALWAYS open to rewriting, if I think of a way to say something that “I” feel is “better” than my initial phrasing.) Anyway, I hope you enjoy it.
Oh Holy night The world is such a fright It is Christmas time this year once more And no one knows what is for sure The world has changed as time goes by And no one cares if the children cry The nations all think that they are that best S

it's a personal situation of domestic abuse and chemical abuse; someone I once knew, to that someone that is they way they are now.
I have never bought anything on Black Friday. I just buy a newspaper to see why over 45 million people go nuts over this stuff.

For all the things that you do for me, For being my rock and crutch, For always caring and believing, For loving me so much, Through all the mistakes and ups and downs, You've always been by my side, For showing me how to live and love,
The silence, delicately woven in the still night, as i walk along the stream. Generous tidings of moonlight, filtered gleam through the stream, catching the stars of naked trout, twillight when striked, moths chosen height, spirals to the sou
It seems the seasons have been going by so fast for me lately, another summer wrapped up in a hot pink bow *lol*. This kind of poetry is usually not my style I seem to like my deep and thought provoking angsty stuff better, but that's just me I guess.

My sister is doing basically what we did to Japan in 1945, getting revenge for neglect of her and her children and grandchildren by taking mom out of her home and away from her grandson and greatgrandson, and her great granddaughter, when she is brave enough to visit.

I was watching Soylent Green with Charlton Heston and thought of a commercial for these wafers set in the year 2022, about three years from now. In the movie, New York City has a population of 40 million people. Tokyo has the largest metropolitan population at 32 million, New York City has a metropolitan population of 19 million people.
I have three days off till Monday, then four hours of work and another 14 days off, maybe I'll get lucky and have someone to play games with during the day, that would be nice!

Because the snow is so pretty the way it swirls!
Christmas comes on jingle-bell feet tinkling all over my morning paper; but middle-class wolves howl at my door, lurking and raping my mood. In a outraged of head-shake denial and of wondering; why do I have to think of that now? When, I'v
