The greatest message of hope of all time.
Saw a trumpet in the sky this morning Some would say it was only a cloud But I saw a trumpet in the sky this morning Someday it will be sounding loud How are you this morning this morning I hope you're feeling fine Saw a trumpet in the sky t

Sometimes I get to missing the old ways the old days I just can't find the words to explain when in peoples hearts there was a flame And it became a guiding light and everything felt so right And I can't explain how oil flowed from the word of G
Thunder Birds approach on the horizon... just before the rain - four-legged's tapping and banging on this old house and its skeletal windowpanes... rain dancing across the tin roof barely touching the gutter, the thunder growls, and south wind

Truth... 1/03/2017
There is a Native American mythical institution that promotes the balanced use of natural resources: the figure of the Master of the Animals. Every animal has its master its "balut", a figuerative spokesperson, who simultaneously facilitates hunting and severely sanctions its excess. In this figurative sonnet I have chosen the old custom of a rain dance so this lesson can also apply to the way we use and regulate our water resources among the other more 'notable and finite' resources we can relate to. Greed will be the ruin of us all, unless us children (i.e. little people) pray and plea to a higher Being.

“Due Thanksgiving” is a poem I wrote a couple of weeks before the American holiday of Thanksgiving. The American "Thanksgiving" is, basically, a harvest festival/feast. This banquet became known as “Thanksgiving”, because it was meant as a “Thanks Giving” to God, for the bounty He had given to His people. And this harvest banquet became an annual event, which, over the years, spread to all parts of what is now the United States of America. And it’s celebrated on the last Thursday in November, each year. And, a couple of weeks before the actual holiday, I got into a reflective mood, thinking about that first Thanksgiving, (Which has devolved into a very commercialized excuse for a “family feast/get together”, now.) and what it was about. And I ended up writing the poem, “Due Thanksgiving”. It’s my take on what “Thanksgiving” is really SUPPOSED to be about. Although it rarely is, today. And there certainly is a religious aspect and context to the holiday, as well as the poem. It started as a Celebration of God’s bounty to his people. And the particular people who started this great “Thanksgiving” were, in fact, “Christians”. A small offshoot branch of “Christianity”, but Christians, nonetheless. And, for such a long poem, something that you may find interesting, is that, from start to finish, this poem only took me between 2 and 3 hours to write. It was almost like there was a hand guiding mine. But the poem isn’t meant to proselytize Christianity. Most people that know me, will tell you that I’m NOT a “religious” person. And, if you’re speaking in terms of “organized” religions, and/or churches, that’s true enough. But I DO have a “spiritual” side. But I think that a man’s “spiritual” nature is his own business! Between him, and HIS “God”. (Just as I don’t feel MY relationship with MY “Higher Power” is anybody’s business, but mine and His!
Me bringing up my awareness and knowing I don't walk alone
I wrote this poem in 2003 for my Mom's 80th birthday.
I'm positively positive it's a wonderful day The harmony of this day and me Is like a spiritual embrace I'm positively positive what is taking place Call it what you want call it what you will I still call it amazing grace I'm positively po
Someone whose mother is in her 90's keeps asking me how I dealt with the death of my mother. You don't - you just go on the best you can. August 5th will be the 9th Anniversary of my mother's death. You can grief also at a lost love or other losses in your life as well. I get comfort through writing my poems as well as my faith and - of course my CS poet friends!
CREATION IMPRESSIONS
I wrote this a long time ago when I was in school. My favorite subject was Science.
I wrote this a long time ago. It was what I was feeling and wrote from the deepest of my heart and soul..
I went to a Catholic church from 1972-1987, 1994-1996, 1999-2001. Since I was adopted at 3, I remember my baptism, and remember crying my head off when they poured the water on my head.
I wrote this at a deep time in my life. Having following the bumpy road and falling down and was able to get back up brush myself off and keep moving.
No matter what poems I write God always seems to come to light!
I wrote this poem four years ago.I wrote it a time when I read and studied Isaiah 54 vs.5 and realized how special we are to Jesus. If we were not special to him he wouldn't have died to save us.I want to remind singles here that they are special to Jesus and they should never forget this.I hope this poem will touch someone just as it has help me to stay grounded.
My heart may slumber in The shadows at times Frail man that I am My courage may be tossed By fearful winds My understanding dim But smiles were painted before The foundation of the world and Found my cheek in the shadows Now on eagles wings
This poem is written to share a experience I had and a woman I met many years ago whom I believe came to both teach and bless us all ....I have never forgotten her ... she touched my heart.
A transcendental spiritual journey...vision that revealed and represented my personal journey the difficult periods and the change that occurred ...overcoming adversity ...inner peace
My first attempt at a spiritual poem. I think it speaks for itself.
Muslims, Christians and even Jews you know your holy books aren't true, There is no god of Abraham, Man made god not god made man No taking snake, no Adam no Eve All those stories are make believe No fall from grace no Cain no Able, It is al
Just a entry trying figure my thoughts out
9/11/2017 Update: The Memorial is still there with nothing changed. I changed the picture because last year when I took the picture it wasn't completed yet. Now the flag is flying high and proud over the monument! It is now the 16th Anniversary. This event affected me deeply as that is when I started writing poems. I had never written poetry at all or attempted. The emotions in me were so overwhelming that it started to spill out into words as a release of the pressure. 9/11/2016: My town is in the process of erecting a monument to the Twin Towers/World Trade Center, Pentagon and the flight that went down in Pennsylvania. This year is the 15th Anniversary of the attack on 9/11/2001. Highlight of the monument is the two rails that were underneath at Ground Zero. I watched them weld them to the top of the granite stones and became very emotional thinking about what they had been through. There is more going to be done on the monument and I will change the picture when it is completed.
Stay a little bit With me. Just today. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow not yet come. Just today. I have only one moment … Of time. Feel free …. You may go …. but Stay a little bit With me. Not much time…. Is blink of eye
originally wrote when somewhat of a believer! Tweaked 8/21/17 new verse
I wrote this to give homage to the great Goddess for she does come in many different ways within our lives.
I wrote this because I wanted to express my inner self and my thoughts and emotions at the time. Who am I, why I am, and when I am comes to mind with the poem. Enjoy
I wrote this as to express my inner feelings what was going on at that time. If you can understand what Pandora's box is or know about who she is in history. Then you can understand why I wrote this poem back in the day. Thank you for viewing.
