Solitude, unlike loneliness, is a special gift that is both precious and deserving.
Your love taught me how to grieve, While I have been in need, for centuries, For a woman to make me grieve, And to cry upon her arms Like a sparrow... For a woman to gather my pieces Like clusters of broken crystal.. Your love taught me, my

"Beauty is truth, truth beauty,"- that is all Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.tw -John Keats (Ode on a Grecian Urn) (I wrote this piece in my mid-twenties)
This whimsical poem anthropomorphizes global organizations as players in a game of hide-and-seek, symbolizing the complexities and hidden actions of global politics and economics. It playfully critiques the elites who navigate these institutions, subtly wielding power. Despite its light-hearted tone, it acknowledges the grave consequences of their decisions. The poem aims to make the abstract concept of global governance relatable, aiming to provoke thought and discussion. The poem was written with a spirit of light-hearted cynicism, highlighting the absurdity of these power dynamics, yet it carries an underlying hope for a more transparent, shared global governance. This ode falls under the category of "Satirical Poetry." Satirical poetry uses humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people's stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues. In this case, the ode humorously critiques the often unseen actions of global elites, symbolized by leaders of major international organizations, and their effect on world affairs.

Anymore seems like our days change right from summer to winter and winter to summer with very little fall or spring days.
This poem, titled "It Takes Two for a Tango," is a beautiful exploration of love and partnership through the metaphor of a tango dance, taking place in the natural backdrop of a blooming garden. Each flower represents a unique aspect of love, making the poem rich in imagery and symbolism. The poetry flows rhythmically, much like the dance it describes, and uses the flowers as a progression through different stages of love, from passion (roses) to purity (daisies), commitment (lilies), joy (sunflowers), harmony (tulips), mystery (orchids), gentleness (violets), brightness (marigolds), and finally the culmination of love's journey (garden).(To Maharlika)
The poem captures the profound sense of longing and solitude experienced by an individual. With each verse initiated by a letter from the word "lonelyness", it outlines the emotions evoked by solitude in a romantic, melancholic, and alluring tone. Each verse also mentions a different flower, which adds a layer of metaphor and symbolism to the expressed emotions. The poem moves through the phases of night into dawn, mirroring the progression of the speaker's feelings - from deep yearning and a sense of loss, to a new hope and acceptance of solitude. In essence, it's a journey of an individual embracing their solitude, experiencing a range of emotions from longing and melancholy, to seduction and romance. Despite the loneliness, there is a beauty in the experience, much like the beauty of the flowers that accompany each verse. It's a celebration of resilience, the human spirit, and the ability to find beauty even in solitude.
Possibilities of uniting love and trust are endless and indestructible.
Simple lines
Please forgive how bad the poem is. I have not had my Morning Coffee yet. My kitty also keeps interuppting me to play. Five minutes into it, she curls up and starts snoozing.
This is entirely an abstract form of poetry that tries to define something that’s more imaginary than real.
Listen to the wind as it blows A gentle breeze soft and slow The stars are out taking on a magnificent glow Waves pounding rhythmically in a row How easy it is to become one with the sea Slowing your life down the way it should be Enjoying
Time goes by so quickly Here I sit with a glass of wine And the memory of you Memories of the past Can soothe the soul But memories of regret Can make you numb All possibilities are left Only in your mind
