The man in the mirror...
Growing up we are taught that the definition to insanity is repeating the same action over and over again with the idea you will receive a different result. Yet every 2 or 4 years we vote for these "people" who lie to us just so they can pad their resume.
Ok, so more of an essay, with a poetry feel to it. I've been thinking a lot about relationships, and the superficial and everywhere I look it's pretty people together. In singles ads, it's men looking for skinny girls, or blonde girls, or a girl on her back 24/7.(Not that I'm complaining, I'm a Nympho) but still..there's more to life. And we women who don't fit into a Barbie doll mold are pissed. Well, I am! I'm sick and tired of knowing that men won't love me because I don't fit the mold. Not because they've never met me. I wouldn't say this essay/poem is about anger, it's about being lonely and hurt. Can't I be loved too, for not being perfectly plastic?
As slow to pain and so we go, Strong be our motif but weak be the end of our day, No one in this Galaxy can pretend nor actually with mort's addendum say, We did not exist. Yet... We are all Dead... (We just don't know it - Yet. Harrow the W

This is not my attempt at a poem....just s few simple word's I felt I had to put on paper...to acknowledge the untimely passing away of a dear friend in the last few day's. TM
I believe it speaks for itself.
I have a vague recollection of being in the pre-existence... I've persisted with persistence from resistance that resisted... I've insisted my insistence, without any assistance... I can vaguely recall said dark distance... Persistor existor...

LOVER Oh lover of mine where can you be? When I wake in the mornings and kiss your face you have a huge smile because your are with me. Oh lover of mine where can you be? When I call you from work you respond with glee. Oh lover of mine where ca
When we seem to reach that impasse where we have no one in our lives to care for or love, no connections we seem to drift along each day. Just my words on how it seems.
Her love was like music Now I am driving down a fog wondering where I am in this braided fabric of midnight and so it goes gloom...
The static kindles, A brush of the hand Current streams of pheromones and hormones Anticipation, The aroma of sweet lavenders, As your hair gently Brushes across my face (Takes a deep breath) A piercing glaze, Glitters, Like the reflect

I'm happy for Bob because he doesn't have to endure that place any more. I guess I'm just feeling sorry for myself because once again I've lost a good coworker.
a silver creeping mist falling a cloud capping the mountain like a great waterfall flowing in a faraway distance i began dreaming gold inside the vision silver fingers pointing out spears slowly crumbling forward embracin

I did what, and with whom? Had my cake..eat it too. Not my doing, swear I tried. Ok forget it, no more lies. Yeah we hooked up, it was a chance meet. Singin' dancin', light on her feet. Why call now, saying the things you now miss? Eyes wi

Do you know darling to treat one with respect loving most precious jewel Through light of rainbows one royal gem kissing fingertips Queen fluttering lashes flowing ruby rich in silent waves straight to the golden chambers melting chocolate
It was raining today. There was a constant drizzle for hours. I sat in a shed attached to the house, watching the blackbirds in action in the rain, searching for their food. The constant rhythmic sound of the rain on the galvanised sheet roof of the shed and the gentle drama playing out in the backyard with the blackbirds was a spiritual experience for me connecting me with Nature and the unity of all things as mentioned in the last verse.
There will come a time when Life will kiss the silver apple When the sun that rises in the East and settles in the west Shall kneel to the true son of Light When wrinkled hands and calloused Knees shall walk on streets of gold When imaginati

Emotions running deep this night.
P H S ... This is a rare disease amongst wolves ... It stands for Partially Human Syndrome ... The rare individual when a full moon is evident turns into a human ... "Don’t look for poet, not in me – it’s waste of time, I only play with dream, play with desire."
I was 25 years old when I wrote this poem. I lost my beautiful wife and daughter. She was 16 and lied and said she was 19. I was 20. She betrayed me for a wealthy Navy officer. They planned my death. I survived, and learned much about "LOVE" and life.
It is a poem about Hades and Persephone myth.
Written after a gig at the local county fairgrounds, I had met a very nice woman who worked at a jewelry booth.
Written on Halloween night, of course. I just took an idea I had and ran with it. I have since converted it to a song. I just realized I left a verse off. Fixed now.
