The Feelings of Today

The Feelings of Today

I feel sadness, sorrow, and tears in the depth of my soul today. The emptiness and loneliness of my feelings today makes me feel kind of hurt. Perhaps it is because I hurt someone who had feelings for me. I felt overwhelm by the sight of one wo

Voice Of Treason

Voice Of Treason

The mist is sleeping on the water. And winter is hiding in my heart. Thorns in my eyes are slowing me down. I can't pass through to the other side. She knows I'm the one who sought her. But when we fall, we'll fall so hard. She holds a secret and won

Cusp Of Eternity

Cusp Of Eternity

A child of autumn was born into a world of deceit and death and a land of ice. A break of bonds would take her away and install a sense of loss and eternal sorrow. She walks across the country, she holds her head up high in the rain. A mother is scre

The Night And The Silent Water

The Night And The Silent Water

And so you left us. Jaded and gaunt, some September. Wilted with the seasons. But hidden inside the delusion I saw you eyes, somewhere. Devoid of death. The aura poises amidst (the storm). In solid tears I linger, a parlor glade, moonlit sorrow. Lon

Enough said

Enough said...

These few lines were written a few days ago while listening to the news and the way sorrow and misery is portrayed. Each station has it's own agenda and way of expressing the pain that the victims are feeling but with a cold and de-saturated position regardless of how they try to be sincere.

Separation Syndrome

Separation Syndrome

I wrote a lot of poems for past GFs and finally got married a few years back. I was going through all my poems one day and realized I stopped writing just before I met my wife. So I decided to write this one for her. Unfortunately, we separated last May, but the feelings are still present in this poem as well as the rest I wrote. Hope you enjoy this simple poem.

Automatic Peril

Automatic Peril

Lost in a land - all alone - far from home. Nowhere to go - no place to hide. So little truth and too many lies. Violence and greed and religious beliefs. Murder and crime and circumcision - the babies bleed. War and hunger - lust in love.
