K indred spirits amongst those with heart,
I ntelligence and creativity off the chart!
N ew ideas and humorous thoughts abound,
D elivering laughter without the sound.
N ever knowing which way the tide may roll,
E njoying treasures of words - not of gold.
S erious sometimes, silly or witty as well,
S onnets and Free Verse from heaven or hell.
One thing will keep it peaceful and fun
'KINDNESS' of thought towards everyone!

About this poem:
Just a plain Swade poem as promised. :-)After reading a poem last night written by a young man questioning the existence of God, then clearly stating a sincere interest in knowing some 'PROOF' of His existence, I was very impressed by the overall level of 'kindness' shown by him and others that surfaced in the exchange of comments to his poem and the on-going dialog between those pushing the thread.
Religion and politics are 'HOT' topics that usually set 'intellectual' fires, but the exchanges and how they were handled on that particular poem were very encouraging to me. 'Kindness' is a great extinguisher for damaging verbal flames. The author of that poem deserves an award for his manner of response in KINDNESS to those attempts that were made to ignite another 'unsuccessful' and 'unnecessary' flame. KUDOS TO THE KIND KID!!!
memory
memory of those who gave everything
for freedom and peace
in silence I stand there alone. and think
with me tears I fell grief ,and memories
about you.
at the grave in which sits a little boy
I see the quiet, he sits there a tear
dripping down
his father, a soldier stands breved
and remember their friend a lonely
soldier die and heart burst now tears
runs down why my friend
you went home
soldier's mom a mother in mourning is
at his side, she struggles with tears
falling down, but remember their soldier
with goodness in mind, and everything is fine Her
soldier wrote while the tears fall silent down
soldier's father stands with his back so bent
in grief but pride, he sees his daughter and son
which now lies quietly in his sleep
a flower a flag set by their last legend
we stand there and remember the honor they gave
their part for freedom and peace. but freedom was not free
the freedom of taking our soldiers in the battle for peace
Today, they now come home and despair so quiet in the light
of stars and stripes
Slowly now the sun site shadows we now recall
and never forget you
in our hearts you all are in our soul is already there
for freedom and peace

A truckers thoughts
The motor encoder a yearning sound,
I long for the home.
I sit bag steering my truck with a trailer a bit too heavy.
it's all
mil after mil in an endless road
The night my love long without you,
a radion plays a country song
it sounds like it's singing about you.
mil after mil car rolleing on
a Honk the horn in a friend driving by.
in comradion hear a voice so sweet,
You are there, it's us. you hear me.
. com into me dear I'm here
A tear on his face fall down,
think about my love to me calling me.
I will say I love and miss you. my dear
Now I'm on, custom road
Delivers paper must creep is rapid in the night.
so did I wait for the next day.
Hooray, I will come home to you.
Now it was the dist on the road again.
i must stop and take some coffee.
Keeping me awake, stopping a place
find some space and talk to
the other drivers on their sites
at truck stop
I get no ferry in time so I'm calling you
so tomorrow I first arrive.
give me a hug a kiss good night's sleep
good night

Caught once again in the current of a shifting tide
Helpless and hopeless I will hang on for the ride
Life's a series of choices only we can decide
So let our inner consciousness be our guide
Remember what happens when two worlds collide
Be careful whatever and to whomever we confide
Or we could find ourselves going on a crazy hayride
And it really won't always be a good joyride
So be extra careful what we think we feel inside
Consider thoughfully all the upsides and downsides
Sometimes it's not so bad to be careful and hide
What we trust in our hearts: Only love can provide
Helpless and hopeless I will hang on for the ride

Little fears and doubts should be listened to.
Witness
Slowly you appear, rising higher,
Throwing your shimmering glow on the sleeping.
Silently you glide over the black carpet,
Dipping under the occasional fluffy cover.
Never revealing the untold sins,
Just witnessing in silence.
Casting dark shadows'
Looming earily on the still sleeping earth.
Confidently picking your chosen path,
You make your way to your destination.
Knowing you will return and repeat,
The same till eternity, never faltering....

As I have a lot of trouble sleeping, I love sitting outside when the rest of the country are tucked up in their beds, the incredible sound of silence is just so beautiful, and I always wonder just how much goes on that nobody sees or witnesses, that is..... nobody except ???????online today!Hold Me Down

Love is such an ultimatum....fight of flight....all is fair.....way did you do this hurting game
I feel only loneliness
how when I needed you all
that's what you told
your letter so much said
but where were you when
said you were my dear friend
in your poem you mocked me
why would you therefore say
I do not understand your way
you do not believe
how you do not understand
why your words hurting me
I spoke the truth,
but what you did not understand
I always speak the truth to you
My song was happy, but is now sad
I smiled, happy, is now no more
mit smile is now getting cold
after what you said you told,
a I always had for you

never forget the time we ar young
you came in with an open car to our town
you played the melody of freedom
Heaven it was blue, and we learned to be two
it was rock 'n roll to an a simple love for you
all our heart was in the fire so hot and warm
thought me back to the time
our faith in the whole world there was so much love
can you remember it.
We met at a square disappeared in a Chevrolet
for and travel to a place a town dance rock `n roll
they were so much of our love
when we were dancing rock `n roll
We loved traveling somewhere new it was our
mission to our vision
that all hearts were on fire remeber to you
we danced at the time our rock `n roll
you have many times told
we dance rock `n roll and our eternal love
