Who agrees?

In the 1970's a prolific author & editor wrote:

Proclaim your rarity.

Ever since, many have written:

Insist on individualism.

Now, who would agree;

A vast difference between the two.

Runaway Love

I want to runaway to where
I am free
Joy of feeling a home to share
Hiding away
I want to catch my first kiss
Trying my way
The magic of my first wish
Lighting up
I want to burn a long candle
A fragrant one
I want to watch over the sand hill
Gazing as one
I just want one to discover
One called ours
I want to reach up and uncover
Secrets inside
I want to curl up and be still
My heart swells
I want to listen to it spill
Louder it beats
The power of its message
Pounding away
I want to swim through its passage
To the other side
Freedom to explore the unknown
Searching for freedom
How grateful love was shown
Escaping away

Libertarian Objections

I was watching the Libertarian debates last weekend
I objected to a few things that were said
One was the minimum wage
They said that it should be zero
That you get paid what your skills are
If you aren't being paid what you are worth
Then all you need to do is walk across the street
But I see countless skilled workers being ripped off every day
They cross the street and it's the same story all over again
The minimum wage should be raised to 15 bucks an hour
The next thing was immigration
The libertarian candidates said let them all in
No borders
We need all the skilled labor we can get
I disagree
We don't need a wall
We just need the citzens of our country to be employed first
If there are still jobs left over
Then fine, let them in to fill those jobs
But the jobs should be available to Americans first
Not whoever gets there first, or who is the cheapest
I still like a lot of their ideas
I did vote for Gary Johnson back in 2012
I probably will vote for him again
Unless Bernie Sanders majically get the Democratic nomination

About this poem:
I spent last Sunday watching the libertarian debates for about seven hours. The debates were actually on Saturday, but I taped them. The candidate selection and vice president were chosen Sunday. Gary Johnson and his vice president Bill Weld won.

DVR

I love to watch TV
One of the greatest things to me
I grew up from 1974 to 1986 with no way to record
I finally found a VCR in 1987 I could afford
Then they changed my cable just recently
So I couldn't record for free
I got my DVR a week ago
Now I can fast forward without going slow
I can record multiple shows at one time
For the cost of 100 dimes
Shows I couldn't record before
I have waiting at my DVR recorded store
Johnny Carson, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert too
Family Feud, the Olympics, All in the Family to name a few
It is so much fun, almost as much fun as singing in my car
That I am having with my new DVR

About this poem:
I have really gone a long way from VCR to DVR. No tapes to store and a better image. The time it used to take to fast forward through commercials is a real time saver.

Company of the dead...

Overlooking a beautiful bay in Auckland, New Zealand, is a quaint old cemetery...
I spent six weeks regenerating there a few years ago,
I was burnt-out, my batteries were on very-low,
I needed some other-worldly energy to recharge,
What better way to accomplish that than in the stolid company of the local sleepers...

I encountered some fascinating denizens there,
Kindred spirits, they were,
Frequenting the same oasis I was...,
One afternoon, for instance,
I was awakened from my reverie by the sweet smell of ‘maryjane’,
The soul on the bench a few feet away from me,
Was puffing-up a storm..., seeking a different kind of high...

Another blond banshee, enjoyed bringing a different paramour to the venue every so often,
If ‘ya gotta do it’ with someone new every now and then,
What better cover than a grave or two...

Then there was the old dear, who, by the pallid colour of her skin, was not too far from being a spectre herself,
Who brought her faithful companion every afternoon,
A fluffy little Pekingese, with whom she chatted endlessly...

Then there was the teary Asian lady,
Visiting a little child, I discovered from the inscription,
Unkindly and untimely snatched from life,
With many more years to go,
Before the final clarion call...,
Always bringing flowers, a little toy, incense...,
An offering and a console to the young departed angel...

Amongst these absorbing essences,
Was I,
An anachronism of sorts,
A bird with broken wings,
Far from his native Africa,
Quiet, silent, observing the observer,
Mending, repairing my psyche...

Sigh..., that was New Zealand for me...,
Recuperative...

The Hate. b 9/11/2001 - d 5/1/2011

Well, old Osama is a goner, even though he played a loner.
Barak helped him on his way, and thank God for yesterday. *

Hopefully al Qaeda is now headless, no direction, or a bit less.
nine eleven and some others are avenged, let's hope no-one is deranged!

It's the good old USA, told the 'terror', no hay pray.
Twentyseven virgins in the sky? Not for bin Laden, he's left dry.

For the sake of all mankind. Christian, Hindu, or Islam.
Make the journey on this Earth, pleasant, wholesome and convert,
for the real common dictat, is love your neighbour as thyself.

And may your God Bless you.

Calgary just got eliminated

Saskatchewan is in

Probably too many men on the field

About this poem:
It seems history repeats itself again
It would be nice if Saskatchewan wins the grey cup
However it is similar to wrestling I think
there is a script that des not exist but profesized
Funny how things happen

Crazy,Crazy and more Crazy!!!!

Day after day the World is coming more crazy,
for minds so hard to handle and moving just lazy.

Religions against Religions,Races against Races,
with no Heart around.
Brothers against Brothers,Sisters against Sisters,
never to be sound.

Democracy as Democracy,Equal as Equal,
have no true meaning.
Ego building Ego,Self building Self,
is where it is leaning.

Politics trough Politics,Media trough Media,
brainwashing is the tool.
Lies more Lies,Promises more Promises,
very much to fool.

Leaders after Leaders,Governments after Governments,
have no quality to solve.
Humans after Humans,Souls after Souls,
feel betrayed and sold.

History repeat History,Madness repeat Madness,
memories are all to short.
Destiny follow Destiny,Fate follow Fate,
with minds of others faults.

God as God,the Book as the Book,
can not pay the bill.
Heart good Heart,Deeds good Deeds,
the only key is our will.

To solve the problems and get the peace,
I really can not see.
Perhaps I'm so angry and too disappointed,
that mind of me is not free.

United Nation Snow Creature Council (UNSCC)

The near-extinction of snowmen and snow women and animals across vast expanses of their former range and its habitat has raised serious concern about the negative consequences of climate change. By the petition and listing process for the prevention of extinction of these snow creatures such matters will soon become the focus or public notice, comments, and judicial review. The eminent species survival and recovery of snow creatures will examine their critical habitat, recovery plan, ‘no surprises’ rule, and ‘safe harbor’ agreements including the establishment of experimental populations. The large fossil burning corporations found responsible under this new listing shall bear the cost for this recovery effort through penalties and use of money received through violations of the Endangered Species Act. The United Nations Snow Creatures Council (UNSCC) along with the International Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (IOAA) will administer this effort.

There is the present or threatened destruction, modification, or curtailment of snow creature habitat caused by the over utilization fossil fuels for the commercial, recreational, scientific, or education pursuits which must be curtailed at once. . These species are declining due to the invariable effects of global warming which must be reversed by the world economy chilling out above and beyond the inadequacy of existing market driven energy consumption sectors and their existing regulatory mechanisms.

The penalties for violation to these listing are different degrees of violation with the international laws under the jurisdiction of The Hague. The most punishable violations can be a maximum fine up to $50,000 or imprisonment of one year for each violation served in an arctic cave with no clothes. Countries who are net exporters of crude oil will be held accountable for their contribution for global warming by the amount of energy in unit terms and payable to those regions of the planet most affected. The whole scope and purpose of this law is for the redistribution of ill achieved gains through unscrupulous profits used by said member violators for their own political and economic gain at the expense of indigenous populations of snow creatures worldwide. Set before this council April 1st, 2012.

CincoDeCryo

Here I am in America
I stole the job from ya
I live the dream while yours dies
Why do I still want to cry?
Maybe it's because of NAFTA and thing like that
Make me feel like a rat
Bernie Sanders has it right
We all need to stand up and fight
With 15 dollars an hour
We will have the power
Till then I will sit here and cryo
Even though it's Cinco De Mayo
