Records and Tapes

When I got my new car
I put you away
Because my old tape player wouldn't play any more
So I found out about this record player that would convert them to cd
So now I have you back in my car again
Listening to songs like Wipe Out by the Fat Boys
Baby Love by Regina
Living In A Box by Living In A Box
Causing A Commotion by Madonna
Press by Paul McCartney
Forever Live and Die by OMD
Una Paloma Blanca by Slim Whitman
And many others
Now I have you back again to enjoy and sing to in my car

About this poem:
I have had this record player since April 12 and am enjoying listening to my old tapes and records again. I haven't been able to record records for about 35 years since my old record player record button broke about a year after I got it for Christmas.

JUST SAYING V #CIV

Maybe humans realized themselves they had "Free Will"
also concluded common sense depicts what is or isn't real
Some god didn't give humans the ability to exhaust voice
human Brain houses 'Will' needed to make every choice

Again I vehemently declare life's NOT some precious 'Gift'
it's synonymous with crippling pain keeping us morally adrift
People can die from a broken heart I believe to be true
it unfortunately appears to be the process I'm going through

"The Left's" incessant BIG LIE 'guns are the culprit'
they're playing blind or relish role of ignorant shit
Dems justify minorities dismantling Nation we live in
America pledges "In God We Trust" but facilitate sin

Evil certainly behind the birth of noise known as Rap
incoherent mouthing off isn't 'music' it's immoral Crap
The damage caused since it's origin we can't measure
for inducing societal decay thugs are rewarded treasure

Americas' deemed worlds Beacon of Hope by most
indubitably fact but it's arrogant to incessantly boast
The hypocrisy in our defunct world is immeasurable
speaking TRUTH on the brink of not expressible

CURRENT!

It's buzzing all around us,
In a never-ending stream,
Electronically digitized transmissions,
And blinding fiber optic beams,

Messages, emails, texts,
TV and the like,
Radio, cellphones, computers,
Microwave saturation blight,

Bouncing off satellites,
Marauding thru outer space,
And it all passes thru us,
On it's highly charged race,

Technology is wondrous,
But what's the real cost?
I'm afraid one day soon,
Our brains won't be the boss,
Worship.......
the CURRENT.

WELL PAST TIME

PEOPLE,
IT'S WELL PAST TIME,
MARIJUANA SHOULD BE LEGAL,

OUR NATION'S EMBLEM SHOULD'VE BEEN,
A POT LEAF,
INSTEAD OF AN EAGLE

About this poem:
THERE SHOULD BE NO LAW PROHIBITING RESPONSIBLE MARIJUANA USE.

Michael Moore

You finally came to our area
No more going to Madison to see your films
For once you picked a popular subject
Donald Trump
And why we got him as president in the first place
Did you answer the question of why the United States has so many murders?
Why are we the only industrialized country without universal health care?
What pushed Roger and many others to pursue such greed and destroy jobs?
Why so many other countries have it so right and we have it so wrong
In so many areas
Jails, Drugs, Schools, Vacation time from work, women's rights, etc, etc, etc...
I have been watching your films since Bowling For Columbine
Which is still my favorite
I watched you try to get Bush Jr out of office with Fahrenheit 911
I watched your acceptance speech for your oscar
"We live in the time where we have ficticious election results
That elects a ficticious president
I wonder how many presidents are really legit
And the people who get them there
Will Jeff Bezos vote for Donald Trump in 2020?
He might since he made around 250 million dollars a day
From January to May of this year
Thank you Michael Moore for movies that make people think
Even if they don't act on election day

(( dimensions of human ))
***

when, life - smiling, widely at us
when, everything, goes properly for us
when, days - are full of - charming colours
when, all melodies - touchig - our hearts
when, passing moments - taste so sweet for us

***
we, forgetting ( so simply ) all and the whole

***
but : when, we are weepy - of life challenges
but : when, we get caught - in grip of hardship
but : when, we are aware of our powerlessness & misfortune
but : when, we wandering in vain on trackless path of life

***
suddenly : the ocean of kindness & compassion, arise in us
suddenly : by A great might, we struggle to discover pure belief
suddenly : we displaying, A perfect & angelic FACE
***
Ah ::::: ( HUMAN ) ?? !!

Promises, Promises.

Promises, promises, all you give are promises.
Issuing such sweet, alluring dirty lies,
Building up my hopes for a better tomorrow.
That will only lead to great sorrow.

Constantly telling me how you will make things better,
How you are such a righteous, unstanding go getter.
Tell me again how much richer, wiser and healthier I will be,
If only to your secret plans I will unconditionally agree.

You instruct me to follow you blindly about,
Never to questions or show any doubt,
Your endless devious drivel gets repeat every day
Telling me never to wander from your path or to stray.

You shout from the roof tops, and whisper in my ear.
That I should blame this one or that one for all that I fear.
You take from my pocket with such stealth.
To ensure I can' have wealth.

You grip my soul, my very being in your hand,
To squeeze out my essence, every last strand.
You wish me to crawl and beg at your feet,
Whilst you tell me one more great myth or deceipt.

Is breaking my spirit your ultimate goal?
Slowly draining the dignity from my very soul?
I am to become your obediant slave?
For the rest of my life until the grave?

Should I be grateful for the few scraps you distainly give?
Is this the way I am now meant to live?
Crushed and destoyed by your cruel lies.
Of a the better life, of endless blue summer skies.

Is this bitter tale about a spitefull love?
Is it a divine cruel beauty that I dare speak ill of?
A siren singly sweetly, luring me to my doom?
What person or thing could cause such dire gloom?

It is not of just one person these lines do speak,
They instead tell of the ignorance and arrogance of a constant sneak.
That orders me to give up every last cent.
It Is My cruel lying Government!

not in there

abhor, unthinkable, coffee with no sugar?
no wonder your life so bored, says he
he's right, he isn't right, he was not right
abhor, you are
to called her life bored? immaculate you then
espresso, expresso, not of your
business, let her go, coffee with no sugar
is her taste, her way of carrying
carrying her burden.

Foot Pain

I got the call the day before Halloween
My nephew wanted to know what pumpkin pattern I was carving for his son
I got off the phone and was distracted by this rare call
I only hear from him maybe once in a blue moon
I accidentally hit my foot into the chair
I have had foot pain since then
And now I wonder what I could have done differently to prevent this
Could I have called and found out what his son wanted for a pumpkin?
Could I have worn shoes?
Could I have been in better shape so I could recover from this faster?
Could I have eaten a better diet without Mountain Dew and Mello Yello?
But is my story of pain just one of many resulting from this opioid crisis
At least my nephew is still alive
Many arn't
Over 30,000 lost their lives last year alone
One of the things that happens when you have a broken health care system
A system making huge profits off the pain and death of many here
70% of our health care goes to insurance companies
How much happier would we be if it went to the sick and injured?

Suggestions to make the world a better place.

Stop teaching hatred through bad examples.
Stop teaching fear through violent reaction.
Stop all the killing.
Stop all the war.
Stop shouting "gung-ho", when you don't know what its like to see some of your loved ones killed; and you're left standing in the spill.
Stop all corruption and corporate control.
Stop all the demons devoid of soul.
Stop giving power to the little few.
Stop thinking "I'm helpless", or that will remain to be you.
