Ballet box

The rich
may lose alittle
but they will still
be rich
the poor will lose
nothing
for they will still
be poor
but for you
who call your self
middle class
it shall be you
we will meet
on the streets
and in the parks
with your cardboard blanket
looking
for a place
thats warm
while your children start
over again
trying
to claw back all
that you have lost
all becouse
you had put
your trust
into the ballet box
of hope

Safe

Do we not live
in the ruins
of past pious words
do we not tread
the polluted waters
of today
do we not try
to keep afloat
while we hide the fear
of drowning out here
looking
for a place
thats safe

The last of us

Does our journey
through the pain and the torture
the rivers of blood
the sacrifices
that we
and our familys
have endured
down through the ages
does it all
end here
has the silent war
that our ancestors fought
so hard
to keep us alive
to bring us back
from the edge
has it all
been in vain

Slowly we are dieing
one by one
while we remain
scattered on this earth
does it all end
here
in this century
the final closeing of the circle
that haunts us
from the past
where greed and ignorance
once again achives
the destruction of our World
where directed chaos
breaks the bones
of our tatterd dreams
to reunite
different colors
different cultures
to reunite
the one tribe
that will bind us
the one tribe
that will set Free
our birth right
the right to be
a Human being

Cry

When i look
though these bars
of your disign
when i feel the sun
through the window blinds
when i smell fresh air
when you open the door
i bow my head
and cry
a little more

Fire wall

Are you missing
a firewall
that line
of defence
that warns you
of the psychological
intent
of the trogen
that wants
to be your friend

Colour

It is not the colour
of the skin
that you live in
or even
where you are born
it is
the colour
of your thoughts
that define
your state of mind
within a world
where thoughts
are becoming
colour blind

Dressed

Does honesty
and common sense
still survive
in the crevices
and burrows
in the concrete jungles
where animals
are dressed
as human
where it is
the wolves
who are kings
and the lion
is just
a flea bitten
scabby old cat
hanging around
the garbage bags
where
the lost people
of humanity eat

No Walls

Why is there no talk of a wall on the Canadian border?
You would think this would be in order
If it's good enough for Mexico
A wall keeping out the Canadians would be the way to go
I'm sure they're sick of their free health care
And all the elbow room so they can let out their hair
The cool temps gotta be a drag
And all those mosquitos that like to nag
Having to learn French and English would really suck
What is that kid doing on the five dollar bill, playing with a puck?
Give a polar bear, how about a loon
I'll stick with my Jefferson and Washington you goon
So why don't they need a wall up there
Maybe it's because they think the United States isn't fair
And they much rather just stay up there

Quotes

You can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs
And you can't play football without breaking a few heads

To err is human
To forgive, nah!

The more you study history
The more you learn that man has learned nothing from history

Money can't buy happiness
But it sure can rent it!

The only people who win in war
Are politicians and businessmen

Knowing the hour you are to die is not important
It's knowing that you will be prepared no matter when it comes

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day
Teach a man how to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime
Teach a man how to steal a fish through taxation
And he'll eat for a while
Till the stealers outnumber the fishermen
