WHAT TO DO

WHAT TO DO WHEN THE ONE YOU LOVE SAY WE'RE THROUGH.
AS THE SHOCK SETS IN ON YOUR FACE.
YOUR BRAIN BEGANS TO RACE.
WONDERING WHY YOUR MATE IS DEALING YOU THIS FATE.
AS YOU PRAY TO HEAVEN THIS DAY.
YOU WATCH AS YOUR LOVE WALK AWAY.
YOU TRY TO FIGHT.
HOLDING BACK YOUR TEARS WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT.
YOU'RE TALKING A MILE A MINUTE.
THE DISTANCE BETWEEN YALL TWO IS MANY.
YOUR HEART IS SHATTERED.
YOUR LIFE TATTERED.
PICK UP YOUR HEART,
CAUSE TO THEM IT DIDNT MATTER.
TEARS ARE STREAMING DOWN YOUR FACE.
YOUR MATE IS LEAVING.
WHAT A F**KING DAY!
NO WORDS OF HOPE U HEAR THEM SAY.
AS YOUR CHEST IS HEAVING.
YOU BEGAN BEGGING &PLEADING.
IT FALLS TO DEATH EARS, YOU WONDERING WHO IS THIS DEMON.

Last Night I Dreamed of You...

I dreamed of your eyes
You looking at me
I dreamed of your smile
You said I was pretty
As you cup my cheek
Touching me gently
Tilting your head
Leaning in to kiss me

I awoke smiling in my sleep
My heart was warmed
I was helpless and weak
And then I'm awake
Feeling empty, depleted

So sad I was with sleep in my eyes
Tears followed
I pounded my fists with despise

It was bittersweet, my love
Cause you were “my” true love
But I am not yours
Was I

Please don't leave me so....

Please don't leave me without
I'm in this lost condition
I can't bear to be without
I give you total submission

Let me feel your fire
Igniting my every desire
Let me feel you hand
Up against my breasts

I want your soft kisses
Down my neck and back
Oh, how I'm missing that

Your wet mouth is what I lack
How I hunger for you back
Let me have your manliness
And let me give you all of me

We can be one feeling free
With our body's friction
I feel weak to ponder
The heat you squander

A tremble that is growing
My mind unknowing
If you leave as I slumber
My body can only lumber
And wait till you return

So please don't go, I beg and plead so
What ends do I have to go?
To make you want me so…

Depression

My heart aches
My heart breaks
Rivers of tears
Turning to lakes

Joy is missing
Emotions switching
On broken stars
I have been wishing

Make time stop
Depressions backdrop
Swirling fog
Of cloud does drop

Swirling waves
Of mind that craves
Take me back to
Those happy days

About this poem:
Not in this state of mind right now, but have been there in the past. Hard to pull yourself out of the fog when in the depths.

Let It Out

When i vent it is
not to make you
look bad, but to
just get it off
my chest.
Then i am O K .
I am SORRY to
have taken the
momentary discomfort
off me and put
it on Y O U .
For discomfort
to another is
not my goal.
Just to uncork
my bottle if
only for a
minute to let
out the steam.
If only for a
moment of release.

Here Freedom Ring

For in the days gone past i
feel the pain of another
being person tortured for
the pleasure of thee.
Never was he convicted
but beat and killed for
the pleasure of who watched.
How could this have happened
here at the USA where all
is equal for each person
that is here not partiality
to not a race.
Yet back then there was distaste
about a certain race and color
you see everyone treated them
not so fairly.
Hangings and beating were a ritual
with them that is all they could
see until Malcolm came to save
them and make history.
For now they are proud race
you see with many a scholar
and a president you see.
For women and African Americans
have come along way in history
they fought to set themselves

JUST BECAUSE(MCDUFF)

Just because iam a woman,
Doesn't mean i'm weak as some men thinks,
This may not rhyme,
but i tell ya'
Im not meek as a lamb.

Just because iam a single mom,
Doesn't mean i won't find a good loving man;
Just because i don,t have any education,
No diploma nor certification;
Don,t judge me cos iam a good person.

JUST BECAUSE IAM WHAT IAM :))

Hot and Cold

Beating hearts secret smiles a stolen glance...Pretending to meet as if by chance....A squeeze of hands as we dance...This is our hidden romance....Age i thought would make me more aware...And know what is and is not love out there...But still i am know more informed....I do not know who is cold and who is warm....One step forward two steps back...Its enough to make your mind crack.....Scared again it may end in sadness....Why does love put us through such madness.......jw

Giving to Greed

A long time is not long enough
the land opens up swallows the tear of man
sorrows she feels and opens her vains
giving her everything and making more
for man to share
greed has taken over
the fever of man is hot
sorrow she feels
opens her land swallows his tears
as she shares her blood
that's in her vains
bomb's bursting rocks moving
defacing the land that gives
taking all of what she is making
slight breeze the warm sun
she protects the men
that's turning her into
a wasteland
