A frozen voice.

i see the wake in the ruins of a midnight frost
covered in ice the snow falls
bottle of red wine the air flows
taking comfort sitting in a chair
a flake bouncing off her nose
breathless voice being carried off
by the wind flash of light
not coming from the sky
looking across the farmland
voices coming from afar
carried under the wind
ice covered wheat
being crushed under her feet
face of tears frozen to her eyes
she can no longer see
falls to her knees
blowing her hair the voices
she can no longer hear
falling on her face
the deep freeze covers her body
until the farmer can plow the field
flickering lights from the house
not to far for a radio was under
her chair that she did not know.

Silence

The morning sun of the first day
asked you the question
To you - who I am?
There was only silence.
Days passed by, years passed by.

The sun set on the western front
Uttered the question on the edge of the wood -
To you - who I am?
No answer came again.

The mist surrounds the wood,
the moon spread the blanket over it
the cool wind whisper in your ears
To you - who I am?
Silence came the answer...silence, silence, silence.

Man's Best Friend (Worst Poem Challenge)

I was driving down the road when I heard a plop
My car bounced and I slammed on the brakes to stop
It was a cold rainy night so I could barely see
But there it was, a mangled dog, in front of me
I just stood there watching til his breathing stopped
Felt sick to my stomach as my heart dropped
Got back in my car, made it to town
Went to a local car wash, were no one was around
I washed off the blood and guts as I held my head in shame
Watching his remains go down the drain

The Rain

I hear the rain outside

Aware of the uncertainty of tomorrow

Goodbyes are inevitable

If it was a dream

I could just wake up

But no, this is real - it's not that simple

It is not on a computer screen

It is very real

Why does it have to rain?

The dark clouds scare me so

They are much bigger than me

Overwhelming

I miss when things were wonderful

Please, Sun...Make the rain go away

Just for a little while

Miles Away

Somehow I’m forgotten, some hundred miles away
Closer to the devil, the demons in my way
Fighting hard to leave it, for my shallow grave
Is ever moving forward, my own sweet addiction I crave

God has left me, as an island slave
Pushing through the darkness, weighted by the pain
Crawling to the master, of a forgotten age
So close to winning, still some miles away

Please forgive me, weak is in my veins
It’s what I’ve grown accustomed to, when I feel this way
I can feel them coming, closer every day
Full of hate and suffering, a mirror to my name

I feel the pressure building, thin sin begins to move
Like the hands around my throat, slowly taking hold
Prayers have failed me this time, there’s nothing left to prove
The last breaths escape me, as I release my soul

alone!

pity be the man who thought is friend was his foe, pity be the man who found love and did not know, pity be the man who broke hearts with his hands, pity be this man, without shadow he stands.

ALONE

Most of the time
i feel like i do
not belong anywhere
and the world is
closing in on me.
The days where the
darkness overwhelms
my being and i can
not see past it.
The light seems
so far away from me.
I try so hard to be
this happy person but
sometimes i just am not .
My soul is dragging my
life is clouded with blue.
I just wish someone
understood how i felt
and maybe we could help
each other out but alone i
sit yet a crowd around.
Depression has come to rest
here a time so i guess i
will try to turn my head
as if not see it.
I will look up to you
my friend you have lifted
me in times when i was down.

My promise

So I'm sad,
hurt you could say,
words flowing through my mind,
rushing, overlapping,
yet I just cant form the first sentence
cant even say the first word
to express how I feel
trying to write a poem that's happy
one that shows the fun side of me
a poem that doesn't fill my eyes with tears
but here I am crying out
just as I put the pen on the paper
why is it that sadness is my main inspiration to write?
each time a poem comes to mind
my heart is always breaking
I'm trying to give you readers a smile upon your face
a chuckle or even a laugh
when next you read another poem of mine
as easy as it sounds, it's almost impossible
for each thought comes with tears
each tear comes with a scream
So my CS readers, this is a promise I shall keep
a smile, a chuckle or even a laugh

a bleeding needing

The world is full of need and greed,
This is why my heart has to bleed.
Those who have need
have a need for greed and
those who greed have a greed for need

a greed is a need and a need is a greed.
but i want my heart to stop from bleeding
because i know my heart will always be needing
this is why my heart will never stop bleeding.

About this poem:
its sadness but also social,,but very spirtual,,and i think has undertones of a paradox,,a philosophy of the rationalistic views and people in the world but also in ourselves, the spiteful gene

Under the blanket.

Under the blanket, I lie in wait alone
I'm reaching out for a new friend
It's a blanket of time
I've watched it pass by
My spirit was broken, but sure to mend

I believe angels are with those pure at soul
moving about at light speed, to leave everlasting glow.

Perhaps in the form of a new friend
An uplifting second wind
Precious pure as gold
Angels come and go
Sheppard's lead the blind
True friends, True love
Prove hard to find
Send me a sign
