set free

sitting in a wicker chair
old and gray
running through the trenches
of yesterday
marks left in the dirt
of times in past
morning sun warming a face
bearded grey blown off leg
bloody trail left to die
cup of coffee taking a sip
blowing wind pushes it away
for a memory will forever
be in the past
sitting in that wicker chair
taking a last breath
old and decaying lifeless body
gone to rest
free of sin
death
has set him free

Alone...

Alone...

Alone..another fall of blackness,
another surge of echo
resting me to sleep,
another song of memories
hidden in a shell
and a scent of winter
to touch me deep.

Alone..whenin another stare
out over the ocean
another hope to crush into
horizons painted in daze
another dawn to brake my hart
a song of nothing to be lasting,
kiss a dew upon my face.

Shaded

perplexed shadow
has a paddle
up the creek
on a two by four
that was weak
faster and faster
two by four broke
drifting down the creek
the shadow disappeared
never to be seen again.

~~~ TIME ~~~
Big clock little clock it is all about time,
tick tock that was the clock hickory dickery doc
the time is near and no mouse to be
~~~ found ~~~

If I only had time it would have a big hand,
or a small hand with the second following close
behind to give you the time and to
~~~ be sound ~~~
Tick tock standing nice and tall is another
clock with many ways of showing you the time.
some call it the grandfather clock
~~~ time is a center piece ~~~
in the center of
~~~ Clock ~~~
Lonely Old House
The lonely old house
stands alone on the moor
no people go there
no windows no stairs
no laughter rings out
no children joyfully shout
the lonely old house stands alone and it crys
the ivy that swarms it waits silently then dies
it sit on a hill that is covered in greeing
and waits for the one that will give it new meaning
for i am that house that sits all alone
looking for a heart to give me a home
to open my door and switch on the lights
and live inside me and watm me at night
daybreak dreamer
each day when I awaken
I am filled with hope anew
I turn myself to face
where last that I held you
it happens every morning
I only find to my chagrin
reaching out, too soon to discover
no more than empty arms again
up with the bright horizon
all that I see is wrong
mute silence overwhelms me
as I strain to hear your song
though my eyes and ears and arms
may only fail to find you
my heart ever will refuse
to believe that we are through
as night fatigue surrounds me
wearily I hit the sack
I close my eyes and await the dream
that come some morning I'll find you back
should blessed dawn ever arrive
when you love me as I love you
it will be then, and only then
that I'll believe dreams can come true
where did it go wrong
“Where did it go wrong” im just tryin to lead by example
a lot easier to handle “but I used to be a handful”
Saposed to stand for sumthin cause sittin aint a option
At heavens door waitin for an awnser “ive been knockin”
That news isn’t shockin “I stare death down repeatidly”
My boys say I got a death wish “can never leave it be”
To much of a perfectionist “to not wanna edit this!
I keep pushin for greatness cause I know what better is
Now so competitive im`a revive hip hop “n” let it live
Momma said taking aint nice at all “so instead I give”
Trust is a giant word with only five letters in it
My flow grabs your attention “I only need a minute”
they say my soul is mean and frigid “cold to the core”
Ima chetto child “youll never see me steal from the poor”
This style I killed it before “writin a life story”
We all can relate to music but I only write for me!!
Sadness
We often wonder why we weep,
as so many tears may creep upon us.
Sometimes we often wonder why we have such
sadness.
Sometimes we feel alone and we are
really not.
We wonder as we sorrow with so many thoughts to why
life seems so unfair.
When, really we are sad for a un-known cause.
My friend when sadness sets,
just remember to see yourself as a care.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The world never promised to be so true,
and now dawn has begun to set.
No more weeping, nor tears my friend.
Because today is a new day and,
sadness is gone afar.....
Because you’re not alone
my friend~~~~~

Loneliness

Oh, the loneliness of a double bed for one
I toss and turn and roll about
but sleep won´t come
Perhaps a pill, or a cup of tea?
at four o clock or at three?
I stretch out my hand
but there´s nobody there
just oceans of clean white sheeting
Bleak despair, I try a prayer,
for this terrible, hungry, gnawing need
for somebody to love.

A child in pain.

The deepest hole, the darkest black,
That's where I live, I can't come back.

You sent me there, when you attacked,
I'm broken now, my body blacked.

I live in fear, a sound, a crack,
I dare not cry, a sound, a thwack.

An accident, it slipped and fall'd,
Mummy please, it's not my fault.

About this poem:
Not about me, or God forbid my children but somebody out there will see themselves in this, I just hope the darkness is/has faded.
You could say this is a tribute to Peter, who's story nearly broke my heart.
