I recall the day I met her
thunder clounds roared o'er my head
and later that same evening
she drew me across her bed
she said that I must be her savior
by the way she felt inside
but if I knew then, what I know now
I woulda' found a place to hide

oh she's a devil, of a woman
dragged me straight down to her hell
will I escape my condemnation?
guess that only time will tell

have I signed my soul away?
on some blood-stained bedroom sheet
for the feelin' I was gettin'
was fer' away from sweet
so I shook my head and wondered
what have I got myself into?
for if I had plans for leavin'
she was far away from through

she had her claws fast in me
was I thinking much too late?
but the moment I first touched her
just may have sealed my fate

though scarred for life I'd settle
just to be set free
and if human nature's wrong
then you'd all be just like me
I broke away and ran away
too frightened to look back
I'll never pay that price again
just to lie in some girl's sack

I'm gonna open all the widows, I smell the rain a comin'
Said i'm gonna open all the widows, gonna be a storm today
Yeah i'm gonna open all the windows, try to wash these blues away

I'm gonna turn on all the lights, cast out all the shadows

I'm tryin' everyting I can now baby,just to get over you
Ever since you walked out that door, an ran away with him
Been tryin' everything I can,an come tomorrow i'll try all over again

I'm gonna open up this bottle, swim down to the bottom
Said i'm gonna open up this bottle, don't care if it takes all day
I'm gonna open up this bottle, try to drink my blues away

I'm gonna dust off that ol' six string, sittin in the corner
Yeah i'm gonna pick up that ol' six string, see what she has to say
Said i'm gonna strum on that ol' six string, try to play my blues away

I'm tryin' everything I can now woman, just to get over you

I guess i'll keep on tryin', aint nothin' else that I can do

How sad it is
when you see
japan and its people
living in ruins
after that tidal wave

Rubble and ruin
sea and pollution
people still
in need of much help

Prayers are offered
sadness touches
feeling just feeling
for people out there

Its one flash point of
so many today
in a world uneasy
in so many ways

So I send out a prayer
maybe others somewhere
will reach out
as I know they will
to people in much need

Stained beauty, sitting under the fire
Tainted cause, reaching out for the wire
Loving hate, cant light the same candle
Broken glass, the change is hard to handle

Empty heart, feeling numb moving slowly
Torn words, feeling hate and un holy
Loud silence, reaching highs failing lows
Darken bones, smell of fear reaching the nose

Twisted journey, moving forward into the unknown
Forgotten memory, picking the stitches that arnt sown
Innocent guilt, trying to escape the locked box
Natures machine, lifting the position of the rocks

Damaged perfection, set goals to reach the scars
Giant whispers, climbing to the point of the stars
Beautiful passing, going from ionic posture to cold shiver
Angelic crime, millions of miles apart wanting to be with her

Lord of creation
heavens above
earth and the sea
and unfailing love

lord of the mountains
the valleys below
upon the earth
we people do go

lord so mysterious
yet known unto man
ever since Eden
when the garden began

lord of our moments
teach us to see
something of love
that flows as the sea

i tried to live but my mind doesn't start.
to love you as i do makes me feel alone.
without you i have been sadness in stone.
why is indonesia so far from my world.
cant you see there's no else but only you girl.
im destined to love you i know i am.
but without you all ill ever be is sad.
to feel your heart beat just once in my life.
would be perfect like flying in the sky.

a bowl of cherries or a walk in the park?
Or do you see it as an endless uphill climb.
a constant struggle maybe just a loosing war?
Are you forever giving in to others demands,
feeling insecure and often left in the dark?
Being taken advantage of when you’re feeling low.
All your emotions just dashed to the floor.
When you try to fit in to the world around you,
do you feel like a million piece jigsaw?
Never really being accepted always left in the box,
to gather dust with the lid firmly closed.
Love seems to avoid you at every turn,
false promises given then fade once more.
Is your life just like this can you honestly relate?
Then you’ll know exactly how I feel I suppose!

Earthquakes, hurricanes and floods catastrophes’ them all.
Is Mother Nature warning us or just banging her head against a wall.
The pain she’s feeling deep inside is tearing her apart.
We haven’t heard a word she’s spoken not from our very start.
Plundering her bounteous gifts with no consideration.
Everybody is to blame each and every single nation.
It can’t go on this reckless folly for all will soon be gone.
Until we learn to compromise our end will surely come.
Divisions will destroy us and ignorance as well.
We are all Gods children let’s not send them all to hell.
