LONELY MOMENTS

Lonely people in a crowded room
Dance shadows on the wall
People trying to connect
At local town dance hall

Spin spin world makes me giddy
Though i am sober as can be
I only see shadow people
And no shadows comfort me

Only the music dims the pain
as you look for someone to smile
And the night is long
But it lasts for just a while

Such are the ways
Such were the days
Of the lonely ones
In the crowd

wanna die!

ther is nothing i wanna say
nowhere i want to go
no one to be wait for
i'm ready to go
there is nothing i wanna touch
no taste to taste
no smell to hear
no effort to do
ah...
nowhere to stay
no border to pass off
no profit of staying
i wanna leave
ther is no way i haven't gone
no color i've not seen
no sort i've not been
......
there is no zeal to be win
ah.....
no word i want to hear
no secret i wanna know
nothing to think about
it's enough i don't wanna stay
there is no ardor to attain
no sense to feel
no will to wish
i can't stay
i've nothing to loose
nothing to quit
nothing i want to recreate
please...
there is no addict for slavery
no patience of senility
no point to start
nowhere to end
i wanna die

Sad ?

In the land of the 'shamrock' and the 'blarney stone,
where the cattle graze and sheep do roam,
There lives an old man that has made it his home
but he goes to his bed at night.....alone.
That's so sad !!!

Qld Floods

I watch it all
The havoc wrought
of everything in its path.
It tears and rips its
hungry jaws
It also grabs my heart

And I'm so many miles away
Safe
and just a watcher
But what of those who are looking for the ones they have lost
Their lives torn all asunder

Its all so hard to put together
Our thoughts of such a thing
grief,anger,loss
COURAGE
Heroes, new friendships
Support from sources forever unknown
Compassion and kindness that humans find within themselves to express when the stakes are down.
WE ARE NEVER MORE BEAUTIFUL WHEN WE STEP AWAY FROM OURSELVES AND GIVE FROM OUR HEARTS TO OTHERS.

About this poem:
Our capacity as humans to rise to the challenge of what happens to us ,good or bad never fails to astound me. Of course the sadness here and the depth of scarring of such a tragedy can never be underestimated. For some it will be new beginnings. For others too overwhelming to contemplate.

End Of Days.

Isn’t life strange when you stop and think?
of the ups and downs that there are.
When at times you may feel on top of the world
and those times every thing seems so afar.
You wake to the sounds of this world at dawn,
as the birds sing their welcoming songs.
Of sunlight shining through trees in bud
And the dew glistening from silvery thongs.
The web that was spun in a whisper,
while the world was asleep and at peace.
Who would dare to imagine that all this could end,
when all of our laughter would cease.
We all take for granted that which life’s given us,
its beauty and wonder we ignore.
For when it has gone and it’s too late for sorrow.
Then our tears, they will fall, no more.

wish for being dog!(poverty)

once there was a poor family
just the mom and her two boys
one was eleven the other infant
living in their little shelter
one day there was snow outside
people were playing in snow
poor children were watching
behind the broken window
elder one said with happiness
mom i wanna go out and play
mom sead while she was crying
honey u don't have any shoes
mom there is a dog without shoes(infant)
ya we can go out like the dog(elder one)
baby dog is not human, needn't shoes(mom)
we wish we were dog and went out(childeren)

Alone

Here I set alone in wonder see the lighting hear the thunder listing to the raindrops fall in the darkness of my hall. So I scurry off to my room feeling all the sadness and glum. Hoping that there is a way to make it to another day. So now I lie me down and pray that tomorrow brings a brighter day. No more heartache, pain or sorrow just a happier tomorrow.

who am I?

I have been in a whirlpool of blame,
hatred, loneliness, and joy.
A trail of pain, suffering, and healing.
I have walked in the light and traveled through the shade.
I have avoided getting to the top
and I have pushed to get to the bottom.
I have no self-esteem, no confidence
but I do believe in myself.
I am a twisted person
with a straight forward agenda.
I am weird, crazy, misunderstood, and simple.
I am dust, I am dirt. I am priceless, I am gold.
I am very good and I am very bad
or I am just very good when I am bad.
I am all I am nothing.
I am begining i am the end
i am death that brings new life.
i am love and i am hated
i am forgotten and apreciated
BUT...
In the end it doesn't matter because I just AM!
So I ask of you, beg of you,
demand from you to just LET ME BE!!!
