Left to Die

Howling wind
Icy fingers reaching
Reaching to tear out my soul
Unspeakable pain
I scream

Why did you
These things you did
Never caring, never ceasing
Passing slowly on by
Left to die

Capital Punishment

This is still the law in my country
Isn't it time to end capital punishment?
How many innocent people have been killed?
Compared to the guilty, it has to be a lot more
You have crucifixion
Where you nail someone to a cross and wait for them to die
Then you have burning
Which pretty much mean lighting someone on fire
You have electrocution
A more modern form using electricity
The "humane" lethal injection
Where someone is strapped to a table and given needles of poison
Feeding people to lions in Roman times
Sawing someone in half starting at the groin upward to the head
Crushing using stones
Stepping on and crushed by elephant
Cement shoes which was feet being put into cement and thrown in water
Guillotine was a sharp blade that cut off the condemned person's head
Walking the plank where the person would drown or get eaten by sharks
Drawn and quartered where the man was ripped apart by rope attached to
each leg and arm and horses running in four opposite directions
Burying alive in a coffin
Bamboo, where the person is tied over bamboo shoots that grow a foot A day and impale them
So what is really being done here
I say it is for entertainment mostly
And some for getting revenge or so-called justice
Do we want to live in a peaceful world?
If we do, then we must end capital punishment

About this poem:
Today is Good Friday. Jesus of course died from crucifixtion. Most victims who died this way took weeks to basically starve to death.

Silenced

Frustration tightens the noose,
So I try to let it loose,
But who can hear
With fingers in their ears?
So many times I've tried
To make my feelings known,
But their mouths open wide
And their minds clamp down.
They hold on to their views
Of how things ought to be,
And say the path they choose
Is the one that's best for me.

Subtle!...

Everywhere I walk I find the ones that cannot talk,
Are we here to be silent,
Am I the one left out trying to say,
That one day this could end,
It's not my choice to know,
It's not my choice to let it show,
How come nothing in life is free,
Do we have to pay with our soul,
For the abuse of our role,
No life left inside this heart of mine,
I've been broken by time,
Is there a solution is there an answer,
If there is I'd like to find it, but If there isn't,
Why bother!!....

Until it Does

Embedded image from another site

Deep in silence I focus on my pain
I've kept it buried below and softly away
Disabling all of my false and insecure pride
Filtering through the faces I keep disguised
Its been well overdue for me to make a change
While my words become like rotting fruit and falls away
Searching for something to mend a shattered heart
Insearch of inspiration, but instead I fell apart
Give me a pair of wings and watch me fly
Then watch me crash and burn out of the sky
I know that my plate is made warm for me on the table
As I begin to wonder if I will change at all
Honestly I'm not sure that I can
Behind a box of excuses you will find a man
With a heart so big and wants to save the world
But yet so selfish that my punishment is well deserved
I'm so tired of defending what I'm not and have become
And still I keep pretending that nothing is wrong
Throw me the obvious and I will wear it on my back
As the summer night illuminates memories I can't have
I know that my dinner is getting cold as I grow unstable
Uncertainty has become all but a poetic fable
But I will keep on digging until the whole is dug
As the hole keeps getting bigger with every plunge
Tomorrow doesnt exsist until it comes
So tonight I light a candle for hope until it does

Tiny sparkle Nails

Will I see you cry?
Do you deserve to smile?
Teary eyes quick to dry,
Pretty liar go and die!

Waving to you goodbye,
Beauty hides danger so shy,
Tricks playing in my eyes,
Tiny sparkle nails flying by.

Drinking my poisoned wine,
Touching a very delicate line,
Honey with lemon and lime,
Will death be so divine?

Believing the faults all mine,
Without you brings misfortune,
Running out of time,
And finally meet my doom.

It's a quarter past nine,
Just a lovely perfect dine,
Is that the scent of pine?
Dead is all so very fine.

Ankara II

Your soul is searching again...
I can feel the depths of its anguish.

There, on the edge of the black-mist horizon...
That faint outline, wings spread, a dull, angry red.

I can feel the hunger and thirst emanating from you...
It's palpable, it makes me parched, hurting inside.

Seeking again, I know I can't reach you...
Tormenting me with a memory lost among the eons.

I can't break free of this chain that is around me...
I struggle to break myself free, knowing it is futile.

Your soul has been patient, waiting in sorrow...
Waiting, I know, for centuries perhaps.

Until I've learned this lesson and my soul knows its name...
I will be feeling the depths of your souls anguish for eternity.

With in a Dream

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----

Twas the twilight creeping in thru morning

The lingering of your presence felt here still

The tears that stayed upon my heart and soul

Tears held captive no longer able to spill

Children's joys found by simple pleasures

As coffee cans turned into telephones

Skip to lou my darling darkness comes soon

Picture perfect tucked in our loving homes

Quiet leaves me here facing dreams of mist

Alive awake just not wanting to see

Preferring the comfort of the cozy

Staying in the realms of the dreams I'll be

Morning sun upon my face time to rise

Not wanting to leave my dreams how time flies

When im free

when I am free the dark well move into light and set my wings for final flight, maybe in the day but probably in the night, when I am free I well let go of all the past, when I am free there be no fear my sprit well soar across the sky I well need not worry or wonder why, the holy land i well arrive when I am am free my ashes blow in to the wind need not to lose or have to win when I am free there well be no more misery or tragedy striped from the blood that hold my skin, broken bones from within never have to be here again, when I am free no more running from the pain no one left for me to blame, no more ringing of the bell sleeping clocks stop no more no more when I am free.

unkown soldier

On cold wet sullen sky
The roar of guns fill the air
Echos of guns explode
In the air

Smell of death fire and smoke
Decimaties
The soul to hide in trenches deep
Body laden stenched decay

Flows rivers of blood
Here lies one unkown
Hiis life gone fore ever
Who was he no one knows

For he is one of multitude
All shot with the gun
