The story

After many a sleepless night,
A man sat down at his pad to write,
The pen in his hand wrote of a man,
Who'd had more than he could stand,
A tale of woe, malady stricken,
Words to rival any written,
Leaving readers speechless
sorrow smitten,
Sadness and madness,
Damsels in distress,
People pushed past their limits,
Put to the test,
Though through the ordeal
they tried their best,
A survivor story where no-one survives,
A song of intrigue, deciet, and lies,
Of lovers who loved and lovers who lost,
Who played with lust and paid the cost,
Then somewhere in this yarn in the middle,
A heart grown hard, little by little,
Because of relationships he'd had,
Experiences both good and bad,
This fable would range from happy to sad,
From worry to glad,
A boy... to a man,
A soul laid bare for all to see,
Full of magic and mystery,
Fitting no genre or category,
It would be named the story of me,
Bottled and corked,
Thrown in the sea,
To toss and turn endlessly....

Lost in the chaos of thoughts

When pondering on gloomy days I felt distress,
Those seemed to be the times of darkness and despair.
I thought I could protect myself and cheat the fate,
The harder did I try the less I seemed to fare.
Lost in this chaos roamed I streets in search of comfort,
Believed fresh air would relieve my mind and help.
I heard a voice from home beside chanting in joy with unction,
I felt that chant my soul from grips of burden would unchain.
I stepped inside – no sound, no chanting,
No human voice – all in abysmal void.
Doomed is the soul engulfed in darkness,
No solace's there where such despair roams.
Of this I know: thoughts so disconsolate and bare
Will hasten imminent end, no one to spare.

Falluja Remembered.

Oh! How coalition War-Hawks a waring went
upon Iraq, based on lies and devious ill intent,
their steely stealth, awash with righteous dignity,
bewildered Heaven's gold spun antique morality,
could'st but only, pour thunderous wrath from afar,
silent fell, thus freed foul ambitious deeds of war,
thus ruin rained its avalanche, a blood bathed sway
gave way, to glorious flag waving conceited display;
so red ran the rivers, Uranium contaminated the sod,
humanity dismembered, by an Empire shallow waving rod,
hurricane of hate, covertly delivered by Chemical urns,
fanned 'White Phosphorous' loitered in death lingering burns,
Chemical Warfare, thus played out its silent doom,
like as a holocaust, the unwilling went to their tombs,
spared not Mother or child, with malice unknown painfully died
by proud Military Science, as its sullen evil applied
mid'st a Satanical altar, a man made poisonous well,
swaggers victory whilst herding the flock to the bowels of hell,

Oh! ye proud War Lords, sabre-rattling with empty vows,
flaunt self-appointed crowns with wreath of Laurel boughs,
Star, center stage in the theatre of cant hypocrisy,
with polished pomposity, bask as Soldiers of Democracy.

About this poem:
Doubtless I shall court disapproval such lines that focus upon Political rhetoric, founded on the propaganda of manipulated untruths, ignoring international convention and the voice of the people. It is a sad fact that both the UK and the USA are the most disliked nations on this planet of ours, I wonder why?

suicidal sanctuary

Have i lost all of my senses
Am i alive am i dead
These memories have scarred my head,
Do I know how I am going to go,
Do I find myself looking away,
Just to see if anything will take place today,
How lost am i?.
Do I know,
I feel like an animal in an amusement show,
Why can't something take me,
Instead of me taking myself,
This ends doesn't it?.

The Culling (part 4)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Gently rained the clouds as the years went by
Years turning to centuries past forgotten
Propagating sin allowed not to die
Waiting once more for its time to lay rein
Gentle wind whispering little girls ear
Imagination at play they all say
Soon voices forgotten till time near
Relentless searching not knowing for why
Within the beating heart lays the last blood
Time culled the bloodline almost freeing them
A cloud so ominous soon to lay flood
Dry barren fields begging for watering
Only the best will ferment in my wine
Removing soured fruits from thorny vines
Sharks
I'm just a shark
Yes, I'm only a shark
And I'm swimming here in the Pacific
Well it's a long time since I ate a swimmer
The sun's going down and it's gettin really dimmer
I know I'll be in a bowl of shark fin soup someday
Oh, I know it's just a lark
But today I am still just a shark
-It sure must be hard being a shark
Well I'm one of the lucky ones
Even though shark fin soup consumption in China has fallen 80%
It's gaining popularity in countries like Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia
And it's still really popular in Hong Kong and Taiwan
-Oh No!
Oh Yeah!
Oh I know it's a lark
But today I am still just a shark
"I caught you shark, now you're a bowl of soup!"
OH NO!!
About this poem:
Going to The Meg tonight again. This is a parody of I'm Just A Bill from School House Rock I used to watch in the 70's and 80's. I love sharks, though I am afraid of them.
game of love
When winning is the name of the game
But find your heart exploding
And true messages are in hiding
Be wary of truths for its beguiling
I fell in love with all the right reasons
With a man so full of passion
I worshiped the grounds he stepped on
And true love we were both charmed
But as time passed and loved deeper
White and light color became darker
Passion and considerations disappeared
Replaced with disrespect and fear
Love indeed has many faces
If unguarded it can deeply blind us
Inflictions of pain and sorrow follows
Burying us in destitute
I'm careful now, I've learned well
For life can become a living hell
But as long as I'm alive l won't give up
For there's true love out there waiting to be found.
~ Secret Thoughts ~
Secret thoughts!
Hide ye well your secret thoughts of being a female enchantress
Cover up your lust for lasciviousness, for do ye not
possess the feminine wiles of your sisters
Have ye not been tutored well from birth with the art of sexually teasing of the male gender with your charm & beauty
Has not promiscuous thoughts crossed your mind
to use your Goddess like body for the seduction of
man and bond him into eternal slavery to do your bidding!
Upon discovering the perkiness of your female breasts
do you not have hidden desires to share them with man in acts of wild love & seduction
Ah! Be ye not of the femme fatale, the dangerous species that has the power over man
Oh! To find such a vampire woman to feel her deadly bite!
I know you
I love you with all my heart
My soul laid bare from the start
How you sucked me into your plans
How your deceit ground me down
You left me adrift in unfamiliar lands
I want to put you on the highest pedestal
High in the sky made with crushed glass and barred wire piles
I want to watch one thousand birds peck at you and remove the lies
I want to watch the great oceans of the world wash over you
Your concrete shoes the last fashion item you will use
And as you lay there amongst a million wrecks
People will say you were washed away
And the sea has claimed another wonderful jewel today
I want to watch as poison sneaks keep you close and confined
I want to time how long it takes for the poison to fill your beautiful body and mind
Like your lies filled my mind and pushed to a world I could no longer find
And in this world you led me to believe no one loved me no one cared
I want to watch your velvet skin decay
I want you to be awake as a horrible disease eats away
I want all the people you hurt to line up and watch as you say good bye
With all your cruelty exposed to the naked eye
I want to lie down at your grave
I want to hold your hand and remember the soft touch of your skin
I want to remember the beautiful sound of you laughing and all the fun you gave
I want to look into those beautiful eyes one last time
I want to see you laying there
Remembering your beauty my mind despairs
I want my mind to disguise the lies you told in our lives
I just want to say good bye
But you infatuated me with your lies
Your chocolate eyes and velvet skin
Your wonderful disguise that helps you win
Phantoms
---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----
Following a new direction letting these pages lead the way
From the beginning of my existence to where I find my final resting place
Swallowing a shade of colors to give flavor to a tasteless life
As I open up my insides and reject the poisoned lies
Then I listen to the whispers becoming such a sweet melody
Finding a new understanding of my demons soliloquies
Conquering the reflections of a mask worn in denial
Dividing his deception with a dismal smile
And as a mountain that stands before me its heights I will overcome
Climbing out from the shadows of me standing in my own sun
So I close my eyes and disappear just to see Your perfect face
Me standing against the phantoms in their darkest hiding place
