Virtual Love

From this reality, my spirit flees
To the disembodied entities
Cast net wide for all my days;-
World unwilling to give in praise.

From my spirit's broken halo
Thoughts or fancies off they go
Walking on the water's edge
The dreadful deep of cyberspace.

Hoping for a forlorn grace
Or something good to take its place
Never have I felt so old
With my spirit growing cold.

Feel affection drying up
Like a beggar without a cup
Homeless heartless without a place
See the ruin in my face.

Cast off another virtual thought
Poet's feelings can't be taught
See a list of hollow conquests
Yet I don't have any regrets.

The artificial world is coming
Rats in mazes - we are running
No more romance of yesteryear
The uncertain futures here.

Population exponential
Don't say that I haven't warned you -
Like the sheep in a paddock
Don't know that a drought is coming.

Still, we care, still, we love
Take a pill and cut feelings off
Maybe I have loved too many
Now it seems I can't have any.

~Please, more sugar~

I'd stared at my thumb awhile
Stench of garlic
That found how
To defile the air.

As my mind was elated
To matter of fact.

Pigeon toed, knock knee'd
Slight, cross of an eye
As one shat the bed
One that's in single file.

Correcting political
Ways you must think
An order that brings light to this day.

Offensive, conducive,
Production of thought
Brings upon more
Internal depart.

Deep down inside
Your sugar coated thoughts
Reality is slim
As days pass that by.

Those seconds of thought
Where you've come to decide
Creating a base
For the future to come.

Political correctness
Will never make strong
The future that comes
When your

Undertow

---- IMAGE REMOVED because photobucket.com no longer allows embedded images ----" Undertow"

My shadow has been shedding skin
Ive been thinking it smells again
Clear out my insides and follow through
I owe myself a new device to choose
The super nova of a velvet sun
My oh my it seems the darkness won
It's been stalking me with every step I take
I don't need to hear your whispers for every choice I make
There is no more hopeless, this is what it is
Ive been treading on that fault line now its sink or swim
Then take a deep breath and dive into the undertow
Hell you've followed me for so long its time to throw some blows
Up down ~ turning me inside out
Is hope just delightful thinking or something that wears me down
So please dear angels, will you pull me back in
Ive struggled enough inside this current
now its time to make hell my b*tch

Cardboard Nation and sleeping bag homes

Our governments say the world is rich
With all the information we need at our fingertips
They marvel at our majestic rise
From living in caves and fearing fire
To living in luxury and material things our only desire

When you walk along our busy streets
The bright lights and funky art
The smile's the laughter to which you are part

You walk along in such a rush
Your part of the great city push
Everywhere you look you see nice cafe's or city bars
The hotel with the front so plush

I ask you now to press pause
To slow right down and look around
I ask you to open your eyes and maybe you will see

The cardboard nation we try to forget
The one our government looks upon with regret
Sleeping bags home's a population laid bare
They have now cafe's or funky art
Just blood and urine soaked corners in which they sleep

Feces stain their cardboard homes
The smell of human decay fill their nose
A feeling of negligent a feeling of being depressed
Is cured by a drug filled blast
In the shape of a can, bottle or syringe
A feeling of hope but it does not last

Now people say it is their choice
Or maybe they are on government list
People say it is their habits that brought them here
And they are hooked on gear

Some things said might be true
But who are you, who am to cast judgment in this way
I would like to think that every human has a right to their own say
And all I ask is this
That you add these people to your mind list

This is part of our population all the same
Just because they are homeless they should not be treated inhumane
I am not asking you all to give money away
I am asking that you don't judge, spite or urinate
For it is just vile to treat a human being that way.

Hansel and Gretel Retold

Once upon a time
There lived two evil children
They went into the woods looking for mischief
And they found it
A house made out of candy!
So the two thieving kids started eating the roof
The nice old lady who lived inside heard the commotion
She did the only nice thing she could do
She threw the two brats into her oven and made gingerbread men
She then took them to the fair and won a blue ribbon
The end

About this poem:
I heard this story told on Mama's Family Season 4. The one where Mama has to babysit a mean kid. It is a funny episode as this kid ties mama up, fills the bathroom with shaving lather, draws on her table clothe, and many other pranks.

I'm hungry for the food that I eat,
I'm thirsty for the water that I drink,
I'm angry at the pain that you bring,
Why do you still hang around me?

You are happy at watching me face danger,
You are smiling while being in my dreams,
You are a ghost thats stalking me still,
What do you want from me girl?

This is not what it seems to be,
Some kind of bittersweet justice,
I never met you way before this,
Nor knew you and your name!

Every street and dark empty lane,
You are standing where I can see,
Called 911 but I know what they'll saying,
This guy is either stoned or crazy.

I lost the time of the day,
I lost my mind and sanity,
I lost my girlfriend and family,
Thinking of my safety and where you could be next,

It must be days or months,
Memories of me having a normal life,
Now my world turn upside down,
From a little girl who keeps appearing from afar.

Called my father but he's dead,
Called my lover but a stranger answered instead,
I hear voices over and over again in my head,
While everything around me is moving so slowly.

Alma was her name and we are the same,
Both psychic but she went insane and rogue,
They used her in dark scientific experiments and research,
till she cant take it no more and went on a killing spree.

Now I know the absolute truth of this mystery,
And that my life was a fake all this while,
She gave birth to a son and saved him,
From these same monsters from abusing me, her son!

A game I played and found it so frightening and spellbound
at the end the plot thicken to bring the conclusion that the hero
and the small girl are related ...she was his mother and she was
protecting him from some of the dark projects the scientists did with her DNA.....

CREDENCE AND CASCADE

CREDENCE AND CASCADE

I am beside you in the current, of the peaceful river, a time to glide along in the quiet flow, you search my face for answers, in the quiet still of the river, but below us the rapids beckon, and the waterfall beyond, soon i will be swept from you, by more rapid flowing water, out over the waterfall, and gone.

How i wish i could float with you, in your arms forever, along our peaceful river, to bob, and splash, and play like lovers do, tumbling, and diving in and out of each others soul, creating our own currents, and waterfalls in our hearts, but i glide upon rippled water, which masks from you the darkness of my heart, for you are light, and i am darkness, can there be stillness, in our river, or will we forever create credence, and cascade.

I feel the pull of the current get stronger, the rapids beckon below me, and the waterfall beyond, save yourself my love, swim away from me to calmer waters, i am the darkness, and will always be the rapids, and the waterfall, you are the light, and meant for calm waters, and stilled pools, swim away from me my love, save yourself, do not grasp me, or you are lost.

About this poem:
I LOVE THE TIMELESS STRUGGLE BETWEEN LIGHT, AND DARK, GOOD AND EVIL, HEAVEN AND HELL. WE ALL ARE PART OF THIS TIMELESS MIX, AND WE ALL HAVE GOOD, AND BAD IN US, IN DIFFERING MEASURE.

On comes the night

On comes the night
The darkness moving in
This keeper of all my secrets
This creator of my sin.

On comes the night
Forever my silent mate
The darkest of dark embrace
My one and only fate

On comes the night
Respise from the glaring light
The veil that hides my faults
The world of black and white

On comes the night
And into its embrace I will go
For his is the only way
The only life I know

Hatred

My eyes decieve me as i look in the mirror
For the glass is fogged and is no longer clearer
I see a face, distorted, filled with hate
Of this world I live in, is this my fate
I use to smile more, use to be able to love
Use to believe in miracles and of angels above
Use to be awed by the sight of people kissing
Now it just reminds me of what i am missing
Not that I'm jealous, I haven't a jealous streak in my bone
It's the thought of knowing, that I may forever be alone
And as I look at myself, the hate continues to grow
I shall tell you of my hate, for you should know
I hate the politicians who control people with their lies
I hate so-called christians who hide behind sinful eyes
And what about the pastors who pray with the bible in their hands
But when it's night time put on their hood for the klu klux klan
I see so much hatred and racism, so much I can't take it
But still I manage to smile, I've practiced enough to fake it
And people wonder why I'm down, they same I'm not the same
After years of personal torture, that person no longer remains
Do I have love in my heart, yes, but not like before
It has narrowed down to those who deserve it and the one I'm meant for
Many people will hate my thoughts and be taken back by my views
But tell me, how will you feel, when the world has forsaken you?
