There is a fine woman I know,
Who's fiery spirit flame glows.
She's much older but young at heart,
With many fine tales to impart.
Been doing some work in her yard,
She pays me well so I work hard.
She lends me her truck when I need,
And always is good for a feed.
Been having some trouble just now,
A neighbor who's started a row.
It is he who had better beware,
Cause her shotgun sits by the stair.
Her surgery's scheduled next week,
Going in to get a new knee.
I'm watching her house when she leaves,
The shotgun will be left with me.
It isn't my feud but I will,
If I have to, won't shoot to kill.
I won't allow skullduggery,
Miss Ellie is trusting in me.

Excitement bubbles,in my stomach,
we bond by phone,instantly.
In jokes fly,new or old, like the theme,
we plan,our great wild,debauchery!
Our mutual message,is acceptance,
each other's fault,a source of laughter.
Full feelings,of affection brimming,
we plan our night,of full disaster!
No serious things,to consider,
we take each other, off the hook.
My constant friend,on the inside,
poised to laugh at,just one look!
And when its late,we've danced our fill,
I can trust in him,to hold my hand.
For our friendship's,heart,is pure,
just cherish,love,and understand.

If ever you need me just reach out and take a hold of my hand,
I will pull you up if you'll let me I shall always understand,
Chances are I have taken that path before-
If your grip starts slipping and you're afraid you might fall,
If the climb seems to steep to continue, your mountain to tall,
I'm here for you, you're not alone anymore
Don't be afraid to trust me for I never wish to let you down,
I will continue holding on until your feet again touch ground,
I am that kind of person, that kind of friend
The kind of someone to believe and trust till the end...

Allow me to close my eyes,
So I see nothing.
Allow me to clear my mind,
So all I hear is you.
Speak softly,
Speak freely,
Not of love,
Nor of passion.
Speak of you,
The every day you.
Allow me to hear
What makes you smile.
What burdeons you carry
That saddens you.
Allow me to hear
What stirs your passion
Or inflames your anger.
Allow to me to hear all!
Hold nothing from my mind.
Share all you want to share,
Share because you want to share.
Allow me to close my eyes,
So I see nothing.
Allow me to clear mind,
So all I hear is you.

Once you were by my
Side,
next to me, you did not hide.
For I showed you, the
Door,
The one that was locked
,in front of all.
I gave you the key,
The secret one,
So you could open,
the door and be
Done,
With the secrets behind
The hidden room,
And deal with the pain that was leading you
To doom.
All I ask,from you in
Return,
Is to please remember that I too need a friend,
Who also can....
Support me in my weird old ways,
And
Accept me for exactly who I
Am.
I am not perfect, this we both know,
But I in my imperfections, humbly bow.
To the fact , by learning
From you,
I can become a better person,
Just like you.
Thank you my friends.
I appreciate you.

The scars you wear tell all your life,
Be it from fall or surgeons knife,
An auto crash, a barroom brawl,
The scars you carry tell it all.
Then there's the ones that do not show,
Though just as real and still a blow.
That hurtful thing a loved one said,
Can cut as harsh as if it bled.
These scars that tell your story so,
Mark all the paths that you have known.
And when you look back you will see,
Each one's a page of history.
So please don't hide your scars from me,
My love enfolds their mystery.
For ev'ry one I see it true,
Has gone to build this wond'rous you.

The mailbox lights up shiny red,
Some someone wants to talk to me!
I clicked the button, scrolled and read,
It's from a friend who's very sweet.
She tells me of her house and town,
And all about what's going on.
She asks me if I'm feeling down,
Or if I'm happy with the dawn.
I am delighted to receive,
Each small detail is like a gem.
And her concerns make me believe,
She cares, or wouldn't ask me them.
My reply will start with thanks,
For such sweet words she thought to send.
So happy makes me want to dance,
To get an email from a friend.

Here we go again, sitting gazing at our screens
Click click click we talk to friends
My how times have changed
We used to meet and then discover
Now we discover and never meet
So safe so safe we are at home
We never let others know we are alone
Yes we yearn for love and peace
But in this world of terror and fear
Why would you travel far or near
Click click click with love you all
We are brave courageous and full of hope
But we are just an image with a note
click click click lets live to be alive
Come on people leave your screens
Dreams are dreams we should desire

I stand by my oaths,
That I daily make,
Making sure that the oaths I've
Made,
Are kept to the fullest,
As best I can,
So my friends can always,
Understand
That to betray them would be my end,
That they too have the
Right to
Demand,
Honesty,faithfulness,
In all they do,
Nothing less would i expect from them
Too.
But should I be betrayed I stand by my word,
And its ok by me if no
One understands,
Why I would stand, by someone, who has betrayed me,
my oaths are sacred cos they were made by me.
To break an oath made by me, Is a guarantee,
That I did not look in the mirror and face myself,
me.
An honest woman full of flaws, small,
But by my words and oaths, I stand
Tall .
A Promise is for life.

I embraced you within your
wonderous displays
caressed your delights
held you so dear
wrapped my soul around you
My body soaking you in like a life line
you gave me life
crying, entering this realm
your sun which shone
so laced within my body
comforted all that lay dormant
I become so alive!
your current and energy
your roar,
echoing my distance and past
kissing me
where ever there was no shadows
and then when there was
you gave me a hint like raindrops
to take shelter
I could gaze in any direction
and there you were
forever you are, because you just are
24 7
many get it wrong
voicing what they may think
and you
well you, just dance in another direction
unpredictable
yet willing to share all quarters
this could not have started
with anyone else but you
for my lifetime you will always be there
flowing into the many worlds
unseen hidden
capturing facination
creating
the brilliance
of a sheer so natural beauty
pointing my self towards the sunshine
feeling your inner spectacular charisma
I took a deep breath
and slowly took you inside me
"To breath another day"
