musings

the smile,
the twinkle in the eyes
the laughter on the lips
the voice, deep but with a unique accent!
and the fact the look was one of actual seeing
just a shared coffee, a good place to start

chat and banter online
friendship and attraction grows
a feeling of trust, comes from no where, not expected but real
acceptance of what ever time there is it is worth having
does it have a name? why put it in a box, just let it grow

a shared meal, more time spent together
a picnic in the park on a cold winters day
the words flow
stories told, pain shared,
a morning on a short ride, the shared joy of both the action and each other

intimacy shared and enjoyed,
always looking forward to the next time spent together
mutually shared
where will this go?
why ask, just enjoy the experience
live life for what feels right for you
not what is "right" for and by others

written in the flush, in the hope of what could be. Sadly the hope was misguided

Wine

You always drank the whole glass
You always let your troubles pass
And as it burned you felt free
And then you turned and spoke to me.

I was troubled by the glass
Full or Empty, or just Half.
I could not share your youthful glee,
Pressing questions bothered me.

The wine was poured all through the night,
The clock observed - with a fright
And as you stood there so sublime
You pondered bed, I pondered Time.

Consumed as thus, and troubled so
I took a walk out in the snow.
Returning home I saw you frown
And promptly ceased to "act the clown".

Wishing

I wish there was a sign
To tell me where to go,
You know that I’d be
Waiting at your door.
I wish I only knew
What it is you desire,
So that I would know
Should I start a fire?
I only wish that I
Could cover the bases,
Avoid all the queens
I’d rather have aces.
I also wish that I
Could end this charade
I want to be settled
Not on a crusade.
Here’s to my friend
In Sofia, Bulgaria,
I hardly know you,
But I think I could take care of ya.
This is the part
Where my poem has to end,
If nothing else
You’ve got a friend.

About this poem:
I was at work and lines kept popping in my head. Although I was extremely busy, I kept grapping pieces of paper and writing it down. The woman I wrote this about had a very nice profile, that just stuck in my mind. I hope she takes it as a compliment, and doesn't think I'm a wacko,LOL

WORDS

You see my words, but do you hear them. You look at my profile, but do you read it. Do you see the pain of loneliness. Do you heed the laughter and sorrows. Words are a book of ourselves. If you skip to the good parts your missing most of me.For entirety is the key,For you to really see.

Sweet words are hard to come by.........

How on earth can someone say,
what love actually is,
the emotion the devotion,
is what it is.

But what about bad times,
times that he lies,
what about the lonely nights,
where you sit alone and cry.

love is more than just emotions,
its a game you have to play,
find the pieces, put them together,
and this will help you find your way.

to love someone is to die for them,
and be truthful in every word you say,
make sure he knows that you really do care,
and that you will never play.

to some love is a dream
in which they want to see,
to hold hands with someone,
to love for eternity.

to some love is a phobia,
a dreaded thought of betrayal,
and to encounter loving somebody,
will leave them thin and frail.

so love cannot be explained,
as people have different views,
love is just a way of life,
and do with it what you choose.

Friendship

FRIENDSHIP

The special bond
that friends make
The trust and care
they put in and take
The thin threads that
associate them
They know each others
thoughts and fears
A bond woven strong
by time’s marching years
The unfinished sentence
The unspoken thought
The sense of together
Even when apart
The fibres of friendship
form a fabric in kind
A warm snug blanket
A peace of mind

I Await Thee

I AWAIT THEE
I COUNT THE DAYS AND HOURS WHEN WE SHALL FIRST MEET
I LONG TO SEE YOUR SMILE, TO LOOK INTO YOUR EYES
ON THE DAY WE MEET AND GREET
ALL THE MYSTERY DIES

I COUNT THE DAYS AND THE HOURS, WHEN OUR SOULS SHALL TOUCH
THE WARM EMBRACE, THE PASSIONATE KISS
MY EYES LOCKED INTO YOURS, NEEDING YOU SO MUCH
YOU LEAVE ME BREATHLESS

AND AT LAST I COUNT THE MINUTES TILL YOU ARRIVE
MY BODY TREMBLES, MY HEART BEATS FAST
A MOIST WET FLOW OF PASSION IS ALIVE
WHEN WE MEET AT LAST

Penship

Striking up a friendship with a pen

Reading each letter to the end

Reading what each other has to say

Wishing each other a happy day

Hearing of each others joys and sorrows

Hoping for the best and prosperous morrows

Knowing this friendship will ever last

Cherishing all letters that will come to pass

Nothing is ever wrong

It's funny that you lie to me
It's funny that you want to change who I will be

It's funny that I go along with it
Even though it makes me feel like shit

It's funny how you're perfect
and how I thought you were worth it

It's funny how you said that I am suicidal
But look at you, you're no idol

It's funny how its always your way
It's funny that I never get a say

And its really funny that I called you friend
But where were you at the end?

Friendship

Friendship is the purest relation,
in the earth, nature's creation.
If you understand theory of friendship,
you will never prefer other relationship.

Feelings of friendship is seen in your eye,
doesn't flow even when you cry.
This relation is open like the sky,
till the death it doesn't die.

In friendship feelings are true,
it teaches we not just me and you.
Keep increasing boundry for new friends,
for the reason friendship never ends
