3 Cheers to 2013

Accidents do happen
But leave that all in the past
Grab a handle on life
Don’t let go of a friendship
For tomorrow is a new year
Let’s make it everything we can
Sipping hot cocoa together
Star gazing …
And skipping heart beats

The last day of 2012

Soon we shall bid farewell
to the last day of 2012.
Some will spend time together
while others reflect themselves...

My love she has left
to live a life all her own,
I have yet to hear from her
by mail or the telephone...

Deep inside I know
for good she is gone,
her face like an ember
forever burns in the dawn...

One year spent with her
words cannot express measure,
love I'll always remember
within the ruins of our pleasure...

Now it seems all good things
finally come to an end,
perhaps in this coming new year
love will pass this way again...

Soon it shall be
the last day of 2012,
maybe it will be the day
we look deep within ourselves...

Carol singers

Carol singers

Knock at the door, “Christmas cheer, not round here”
Move along and get “stick your Christmas song”
Try again but knock and knock all in vain
Try another “do I look like a Christmas lover? your mother!”
Another door “Stick you Christmas spirit and to hell with it”
“Warder” I am pleased to report
That Cell house three have vote unanimously,
Christmas carols will start at one
And won't be missed by anyone.

Angel Lady

You’ve touched me deeply with your sincere caring words,
Spoke honest and tender, gave me freedom of birds.
You’ve helped me and showed me the person I am
And whatever I could be , believing I can.

Despite all your sorrows and your bearing pain
- I know of your broken heart, and your ordeal-
You forgot all your burdens and pain that you feel,
Helped me picked up my pieces and mend me again.

When Humty Dumpty fell from the wall
All the kings men could do nothing at all
But YOU Angel lady, despite your own pain
Put together the life of a stranger again.

There is no one I know that will do what you did
Herself to another’s healing commit.
No matter the distance that we are apart
Thank you Angel lady, from the depths of my heart .

Thankful

Hey dear poets and friends! Have wonderful THANKSGIVING. I have much to be thankful for this fine day. I am blessed to have met so many wonderful friends here and for the growth I've experienced along the way. I wish you all peace, love, truth and happiness in your corner of the world. Sincerely, Mistress Celtic!

Nightie ~ Night

Nightie ~ Night

Sleep, sleep the dream of rest,

Softly in your bed of night!

I think of you ... and wish

That while you sleep and dream,

That the bedbugs of the mind, do not try to bite!

And when you arise to greet the world

May the Sun shine it's rays on you!

The coffee Pot!

Coffee and you!

Tis the first day to meet your date

You mustn’t hurray or be late

Spruce up and polish your shoes

Make a happy face you cannot loose

Don’t forget to comb your hair

Take a shower and wear clean underwear

Dress up casual and be cool

Don’t overdress and be a fool

Bring a gift of just one rose

Greet her fondly don’t propose

She may be nervous too

Watch the way she looks at you

Shake her hand and kiss her on the cheek

Don’t let your legs wobble or be weak

Walk her proudly to her seat

When the waitress comes to you

Ask for coffee just for two

Chit chat with your date my friend
It’s a date you don’t want to end!

ice maiden

A maiden came to me I saw ,
With frosted claws,
And mind of ice.
Her sweet side was hard to find,
A gift of words showed no thaw.
My heart stabbed,
Yet her beauty led me on.
Was i mad , to carry on?
I dared to reply, To show her that,
I do no wrong,
I wish to visit her world, And whats going on
With a kiss at the end of my mail,
I hoped she would return,
Slowly , she understood,
I mean no harm ,
If only she could,
But my ice maiden took the plunge ,
And called ,and said,
She aint so bad ,
It must be me instead,
But now i have a friend ,
And she's not so icey as i thought,
She's the greatest friend in the world !

Dolmen

He is not easily swayed
As iron girders
That support
Great things
Do not do

He is a Dolmen of a
Man
And few men can turn
Ice Age
To hot springs

If rough around his
Edges
His edges do soften
Toughened skin
Fill wishing wells again

He is oil to water
Beliefs firm as a
Stone Fortress
Keeper of his kingdom
And I, a humble
Acquaintance
