A man named JimEee

Your poems ever so dreamy
Sometimes even a bit steamy
When I'm down
I read one of your poems
I don't feel so alone
What a wonderful poet you are
You're like a shinning star
Making everything brighter
It's an honor to call you my friend
I think you're Godsend
I thank him everyday
If only I could put all your poems in a jar
Watch all that fairy dust swirl around
Never let your ink run dry
For that would make me cry.
Maybe you're an angel who fell from the sky
I just want to say thank you for being a great guy
And sharing all of your beautiful poems

You are my friend

Standing by,
All the way.
Here to help you through your day.

Holding you up,
When you are weak,
Helping you find what it is you seek.

Catching your tears,
When you cry.
Pulling you through when the tide is high.

Just being there,
Through thick and thin,
All just to say, you are my friend.

What's Going On

I never know what's going on
Everyone else know what's going on
Is it going on behind my back
Is it going on right in front of my face
Will it happen again tomorrow too
What's going on
Is it a game
Will there be more join in on the secret torture
Am I a suspect a criminal or a dog
What's going on
See you later sweet potater
Are you gone brother
The good,bad and the ugly
What's going on

Welcome..............

Harmony has so many faces
Music , life , people and places
A simple word with so much depth
Its structured from simple respect
Respect of things to understand
Broaden your knowledge broaden your plan
To get in sync with things you know
An effort in life to make you grow
So when we talk about world harmony
We embrace the cultures of others you see
To reach out an offer an extended hand
A warm smile with no demand
Acceptance of others who maybe in need
Strangers in a country they seek to be free
Understanding how they must feel
Overcoming barriers to let them feel real
And what we may learn from the harmony we create
Is a world full of love to suppress the hate.........

Connecting singles, the home of the Poets

Do you sometimes feel as I ~

That you belong to a family of Quality
and Warmth ~

No matter if your day is going good or bad
someone on there, always seems to care

They tell it to you as it is

Complementing a first timer
giving them confidence & good advise

Sharing stories of lost love

~ Warm shoulders to lean on ~

Telling all ~ that things will get better
maybe even nice!

Laughing when the humor is good

Crying with you when they should

Telling you that there is a better way

They write their diverse poems and make your day!

Their Romantic Poetry is awful nice

Thank you my fellow Poets!

secrets

Shusssss...
Secrets we all
have them. You
share. It will
stay. No one else
can know. At least
for today. Secrets
people love to tell.
Might have them for
sale. Secrets shared
about me to you. I'll
deny and maybe sue.
If my secrets are told.
You have stolen my very
soul.

Poets Corner

Never have I sceen pen kiss paper so sweet
As I have In Poets Corner, true feelings leap out
As poet"s words bring tears to reader"s dy eye
word after word you hear reader:s heart sigh
Because Poet hs willingly shared a pice of his pie
With all who glance at his word
When poem is finished
poet"s heart"s on display
yAnd with each of his words
The world becomes a better place

Hidden ( my 1st try at a story poem )

The celebration began with the cutting of the ribbon. Still I remained hidden. The ladies clapped their glove covered hands and laughter danced throughout the water onto the land.

All was set for a sail on the water. An evening everybody would never forget. A shiny new ship headed out for her first trip. A variety of socialites in their best suits and beaded gowns began to sip champagne, gossip and dance around.

Hidden I wondered how I could make my escape. The man I thought had loved me was there and by his side was his wife wearing a red cape. Looking back to yesterday he'd ask me to come with him as a business date. Now it was too late. My heart sunk deep into the bottom of the sea. How could this be happening to me?

I was unable to stay hidden any longer. Somehow I had to become stronger. When the crowd began to linger I grabbed a kitchen apron and started serving dinner. While carrying the plate to my love's table I was having trouble keeping my apron around my waste. Before I knew it the food landed on top of his head and face. I had to laugh. Finally he was put in his place.

No longer did I have to stay hidden. The manager said I was forgiven. As for my X he made threats and slammed down a bottle of whiskey. I walked by and told him he had my pity. His wife had already left on a earlier flight. I was told they got into one hell of a fight.

I made a promise never to stay hidden from anything, anywhere or anyone. I would be living a good life full of laughter. Through out now and the here ever after.

Captain Morgan Tears

Captain Morgan tears. She's cried them for thirty one years. I've listened that long. Yet she, the very next day reappears alert, aware and strong. Without a mention of worry or care.

Everything goes as normal. Until time for rum and coke. And to have a little weed to smoke. Soon the fun turns into anger that she's held in. Then, once again rain down the Captain Morgan tears. She begins to share all the emotional pain that now are making her a little insane.

I've advised her to tell Captain Morgan goodbye. Let him be the one to cry. I seriously worry. She tells me yet another lie. Will not admit she has a problem. When it's so apparent to me. More than anything I want to see her truly happy.

My heart goes out to her time and time again. I have always tried to be her best friend. She needs to put this pain to an end. For her I have fears. When she does, there will be no more Captain Morgan tears.
