Friends

A soul so lost in the wilderness cried
And we just did not hear it
To my shame I must confess
I’m as guilty as all the others

Sometimes life just hems you in
And mountains grow from molehills
Yet with love of friends nearby
We’ll climb the highest mountain

So take my hand, my friend we’ll rise
And overcome the hardships
The sun will shine when tomorrow comes
A brand new day is dawning

Bad poems

A thousand poems I write,
And not one of them I like.

Could I let you see that,
All my poems are bad.

I lost my gift with words,
And left alone with hurt.

My Angel,My Friend

~My Angel,My Friend~

I never thought that I would find
a friend so great and a friend so kind.
I look up to you in every way,
cause I learn something from you every day.

Without you I don't know where I'd be
but you're still here, friends with me.
You deserve so much more than I can give,
but without you I wouldn't live.

You've given me more than even money can buy,
and for you I'd give my all and I would die.
This feeling I feel gets stronger every day,
hoping not to screw it up, I constantly pray.

I know we have our differences every now and then,
but once it's fixed our friendship is better times ten.
I want you to know that I truly do care,
even when I say things I should've kept silent.

You're an Angel from God up above,
and I'm thankful for your understanding love.
When you're around everything seems right,
and for you, until the end, I will fight.

It doesn't matter what you or I do or say,
because you'll be my friend anyway.
I know the real you that's down deep inside,
and in you, I'll always be able to confide.

Thanks for being the friend you are,
you're my best friend, an Angel by far.
Everything in you is an inspiration to do great,
and you'll be loved by all -cause that's your fate.

So never stop being the real and wonderful you,
cause God shines through in all that you do.
Whenever it seems like I'm never there,
remember this-I love you and I'll always care.

About this poem:
Almost 7 years ago I came to a new town after haven taken care of my mother who was Palliative lost her battle.
I was alone, frightened, isolated, mostly on my part,I needed to take the time to re-find myself, not a easy task, but one that was well worth the fight.
Once I was ready to creep back into the "real" world I encountered a woman, who has come to mean the world to me. Mentally and spiritually she is always ready available to me,she totally gets me,and that I confess is not always a easy task.
Today she gifted me with yet another special gift, and these words at present are my "gift" to her.As thanks some how just never seems to be enough,

A message from an Angel

Like a warm summer breeze she blew into my life
offering words of love and compassion to ease
my inner strife.
She was considered my beloved wife
from another life.
She sent a message by an angel
who I met on this site
I thought she could be the one to rescue me
from my plight.
Yet, to my disillusionment and dismay
my love just stopped by to say she wants me
to come home to her because I lost my way
She said to let go of my attachments I have
made this day for this world will soon
pass away.
I cried unto my beloved with tears of joy
but later became agitated and a bit annoyed.
The angel she sent unto me was so very beautiful
I started to cling unto her yet she considered me
rather pitiful for she said unto me I am not
suited for thee. Our paths we walk may be similar
but she only considered herself just a messenger
nothing more nothing less our joining together
right now would be quite meaningless.
So, I said unto the angel I met on CS
Go in peace for I understand as I kissed her hand
I shall go to see my beloved who waits at the door
of paradise when her ship comes to land.
I will miss my angel so, her light and love all a glow.
Yet, my beloved calls me to her upon her ship we shall go.
My home is with her, past the stars of Virgo to the edge
of the ploughman's row.
Arcturus my brother, you are bright this unique night
Tis' time for me to take the plough and wipe my brow.
You must tend to watching for bears do take care.
To my beloved a life we share we shall retire to her lair.
I shall forever love the Angel who I met on here
Her love for me was just and fair.

What Matters

It is people that matter in this life, those connections that make us better for the honor of knowing them, we have no control for anyone's own Path, people move on or pass on, we honor them from what we have learned from them, in that we become better beings in undertsanding and life
If we become hateful or angry than we dishonor them

Tomorrow

The world is hazy
Through misty tears
Wipe them away
Let me banish your fears
Take a chance on me
No promises made
Friendship for now
While foundation is made
Hold my hand
And walk with me
For we never know
What our future will be

Say What...

I like to talk
About why the moon is round
Not square
About why is blood red
Not black
And sometimes about what goes on in my head.
I like to talk
About the seas, stars and desert sand
But you know what?
I scarcely find anyone to understand
I like to talk
But surely English is easy to you and me
But, oh why communicating
Isn"t as easy as A,B,C
Talk and listen, In and out
Give and Take
That is what it's all about
We share ideas, we share thoughts
That is how we communicate.

The Snake

Like an animal
People come in many different species
One of the most feared is the snake
What holds to be true
Is you can never fear a snake
As much as a snake fears you
Slithering on the grown without its own legs to stand on
Always ready to strike to slow you on your worldly path
The snake has no ambition
Only the will to survive
And thus they continue to multiply
Don't hate a snake for its wicked ways
Just don't become its latest prey
A snake only knows what it is taught
It never learned how to have independent thought
Don't let a snake into your home
Cause where it occupies it thinks it owns
So plug those holes
Don't let them in
Cause in a snake
You'll never find a friend

message in a bottle

In a bottle the message was written
The top firmly sealed
To keep the precious words safe
And dry

Captured frozen its air sealed frozen in time
Tossed on to the floating tides and currents
Where it goes now one knows
In its floating
Carridge

At the mercy or the stormy seas
The bottle float s pushed careesed to its detination
Time has no meaning
Years it could be
To sail on the open sea

To the distant land the bottle is carried
To be seen and collected it meaning not sure
Till it message is read
Its story will not be known

Who finds this message please wite me back am your friend now and allways
write me soon
