Mister_O

ARE WE REALLY DIFFERENT

ARE WE REALLY DIFFERENT

We are not so different in
what we think and do
The difference that some look at
is in our skin tones hue.

It's not what's on the outside
that makes a friendship start
It's what we have inside us
what is within our heart.

No friendship can be seen
as red, yellow, black or white
They are based on love
and what is wrong or right.

Friendships are also caring
the gentle loving kind
And another thing so great is
friendships are color blind.

There are no mountains
you can not climb
Nor deserts bleak and bare
no rivers that you can not cross
when you have a friend to care.

A friend is always there and will dry
your tears for you
And give to you some sunshine
when your world seems blue.

Friends are friends no matter what
red, yellow, black or white
Don't be afraid if you see your friend
to hug them nice and tight.

They may need some sunshine or
just a little lift
And the love you give in friendship
is such a precious gift.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving, Giving Thanks

Being thankful should be an everyday occurrence.
If we need a day for gratitude, then, reach out with
Your whole heart and soul, mind and body

· Your heart and soul to love and connect with others in the spirit
· Your mind to reflect and contemplate gratitude in what you have
· Your body to embrace and share the warmth of love in a touch

Have a peacefully blessed, sharing, caring and loving day!
Today and always

Gratitude is a powerful empowering feeling that reaches inside you and
Emanates out to others in kindness, compassion, understanding, acceptance
And love, always love ~Bliss~

She'll Make You Forget
There?s-Such-a-Thing
Called A Sabbath

Just 1-One *Smile*
So Clean 'n Bright
Straight From Brazil
Ohh What-a-Sight!

But It Radiates
Her Soul
Or So >
I!m Told

But A Comment
To-Leave->
Is Sure
To Please!

A Comeback
You'll See
Ohh-So->
QUICKLY!

Empyrean

Embedded image from another site

The only thing that makes the emptiness so bearable is knowing that we're not alone
And somewhere in the universe is another lonely searching soul
Considering the stars seem close and yet they are so far
From where I stand on shaky ground as I wonder where you are
In light years of super clusters neon heavens are displayed
Lost inside rendition I find my heart no longer in dismay
So infinite in numbers and compliment each other with utter grace
And here I am on a spec of dust in search of love without a face
But somewhere beyond horizons twilight gifts encourage us
In those times we search for hope our souls are always looking up
Subsequently to my collection I realize they have placed the answers here
Illuminating enlightened paths to outshine our simple fears
Again I compared us to the stars above where our numbers cannot reflect
So possibly the world isn't full of strangers just some friends we haven't met
Then with will and perseverance my hearts imagination began to bloom
The universe acquiesced in silence revealing a love I never knew

My lovely lady whereever you are?!

She walks like an angel
Through my broken dreams
Carrying hope like mail
To repair loves lost seams

She is not the end all and be all
but the one thats getting away
For her I would always fall
She knows what i would say

Its something primal that attracts
Something instinctual that draws
Her feminine clothes and makeup masks
Her delicate beauty that awes

I want to see her finally and again
In my dreams I can't wait to meet
The women who eludes the love train
and i haven't felt yet her loving heat

But for lack of trying to get it
i wonder now and again sometime
will she turn to this fire thats lit
After she reads this biographical rhyme.

What If;

What if I was the shy guy?
What if when u seent me I kept my head down and arms to the side?
What if I didn't have eyes n couldnt look atchu twice?.
What if in your life I brought shade insteada sunshine?
What if I was the rotting apple blackening your eye? What if my heart was dead left to your right?
What if I didn't have angels and fukd youz for the sky?
What if I wasn't the one who called you on your lies?
What if I told u I was fake; no honesty in sight?
What if i feeled your life wit good times only to say goodbye?
What if I'm someone significant?
What if I make history in the books as making it?
If I came across your path, would my image succeed in taking it?
Or is there evn reason to make such a difference!?!

Family

Squabbles, pet peeves and more
Fights, Arguments et al
Are part of family
Sharing and caring
Even side-taking
Are common events to see
In the circle called family
Here on CS, it is no wonder
When someone takes a stab at another....
We're all different and unique to each other
So let's tolerate, anticipate the feelings of each other
Since most of us have been here a long time together
My time away and also my return,
Revealed to me,
Whether we like it or not,
We are family.
From Trinidad to Australia
Singapore to Jamaica
Ireland and the U.S of A,
I'd like to think we are all here to stay
So live, laugh, love and learn
Four L's that ensure we don't burn.

Moving though diverse phases
Lives acted out on many stages
Some are sad and grow dimmer
Others shine bright and shimmer
Parts filled with laughter and joy
Holding beauty like Helen of Troy

The act in which someone finds you
Helping you forget what you went through
This is the part that your heart never forgets
It’s wrapped in pureness free from all regrets
Full of loving compassion as it lifts you up
Spirits joined holding onto the loving cup
Filling the roles on this stage of life
Hearts opened to another’s strife
Absoluteness and extending
A bond that never dies
Never ending

Bringing our ships back into shore
This feeling that lives on forever more
Reflecting back to you like a sky wave
Remembering, you take this act to your grave

Distance doesn’t matter as we connect the parts
Through the years, tears, the humor and love
Existing in all the memories we wove
All kept safely within our hearts
A beautiful lasting friendship
In a complex work of art
A bond of kinship
Never to part

For Laura

Embedded image from another site

“Life is a school
Where you learn
How to remember
What your Soul
Already knows”
~Sun Gazing~

Amazing!

And so it goes
Our life we do not choose
Sometimes we may lose
At times our happiness may flee
Dreams blow away on the breeze
Other times may truly disappoint
Far beyond a distant vanishing point

“Bodies come and go
Cast off like old clothes
But the soul is never born
Nor does it ever die:”
~Srik Pallabhi Jois~

This is written to say
Don’t ever believe the lie
You are beautiful and glowing
Your life has ups and downs
Yet it’s full and flowing

Think of all the ones who love you
And pray for the ones that do not
Thinking this way you’ll get through
Living the beautiful life you aught

Knowing that your heart craves love
Our minds shouldn't live under the thumb of
Those that are lost and cannot lift their spirits
Instead . . .
Extend your love to help them up and in doing so
You will find you have soared much higher not low

The wisdom given is simple and full
“It is much better to give, than receive”
Some days our heart weeps and will pull
Away from the truth and where we should cleave
We want you to remember that everyone will feel
Days where it’s hard to carry on and want to quit
Giving permission to feel this way makes you real
And will heal your soul, your heart and your spirit
We send our love, prayers and care to you
Feeling your pain and helping you through
Life has a way of taking it's toll
Love, makes us whole

To Go Or Not

Seems like it's time for me to go
A few friends I want to keep
I met a lot of interesting folks here though
People who made me think deep
Socrates, Darkhorse
Odette
Café and Spartacus
Imaginelove
SCatlyn and friends
Just to name a few
Poet#1 and there's more so much more
Morgen of Singapore
Girlygirl and Niah
I may be back who knows...
We might even meet on a cruise or tour
Don't think my guy is here,
But if he is...
Friends who want with me to speak
Need only drop a line
A warm response you will find
Still making up my mind....
To go or not
