A heart preserved. The native(s) paint the picture of the spoken word. The universal rhythm. Paint me a picture of realisation. We can count in the dark, but did logic form in dark?
In these difficult times I consider my friends my best friends.
And the world turns...

Our hearts are heavy
Tears are cast
Too young too soon
Way too fast
You graced yourself
With a quiet demure
A cheeky smile
And eyes that lure
There lay a confidence
Deep within
It was your strength
Right till the end
Foreign shores
A different life
An intense man
A loving wife
How you changed
Point of view
Through commitment
To beliefs you knew
We watched you grow
And bloom within
A wrong diagnosis
A cardinal sin
Now you share
An angel’s space
You’ll never be forgotten
Your life our grace .........

Strike the match
As the sea carries horizontal rain
pelt'd beside me on the window frame
All the feet I've seen en-toe'd in the sand
each wave's taken out past part of time
Candle'd flame
chair's under me
crossed knee's fingered smoke
lookin out to a world the drops of rain covered wet
I shake out the flame wooden match it held to
Whistled kettle in the kitchen
tea for two
splat'n rain on the window
from one candle two flames
some black tea an me....~

I..
once had a girl
or should I say
I once had three
blonde, brunette
and red
one crazy night
took me to bed
they told me
they worked
in the city
and started to laugh
I told them
that I was
quite willing
but had torn a calf
I..
bided my time
drinking their beer
then they drank mine
and when
I did awoke..
I ran out the door
back to the shore

On Christmas Eve I wish you, dear friends,
In joy you are so sad - in sadness merry,
So far on distant continents and lands,
You are so close to me - I wish I had you near.
Heart hardly can contain the love I carry,
To each and every one I stretch my hand
And wish God's grace upon you, wish you plenty!
Believe my words, we have no other way:
This corner is a chance, there aren't so many.
The one for all and all for one to burden take,
You are so close to me - I wish I had you near.

Two clocks keeping separate times
One I hear everyday
The other I can’t hear its too far away
And how would I know so much
If it wasn’t for knowing you
I can only dream the same way
Perhaps having lost my way
I journey lonely in my dreams
Where distance doesn’t mean
We will always be far away
In both our dreams are awoken
The words that are left unspoken
That distance measured in miles
No matter will still create smiles
This bond remains unbroken
And only when chance is taken
And out of our dreams awaken
The two clocks will synchronize
Our dreams will then materialize
For all time is in the making

‘Friends’
Kirk: “we can count in the dark Spock but did logic form in the dark?”
Spock: “a fascinating question captain”
Kirk: “one you can answer?”
Spock: “perhaps”
Kirk: “It has been a great journey Spock I’m surprised were all still friends”
Spock: “it is not just what we have captain but also what we lack that makes us friends”.
Kirk: “how do we measure such a thing Spock?”
Spock: “each according to their own gifts Captain”.
Kirk: “acceptance”.
Spock: “precisely”.
Kirk: “your logic is your gift Spock”.
Spock: “of friends there are none better”.
Kirk: “none but one”.
Spock: “indeed”.
Kirk: "to the journey shared my friend"
Spock: "a gift in the moment"

Sadness envelopes my very being
What once was I will never be seeing
Your humour a gift from elsewhere
Always probing enticing to share
A battle of wits the speed of thought
So many times I had been caught
Finished by a hearty laugh
‘‘Twas just the net that you cast
Everyone fell under your charm
Respect was your very calm
You nurtured and grew bonds real
Years of service did reveal
You had touched the hearts of so many
A broad knowledge of things uncanny
Shared things with your loving soul
As if it was your life’s goal
And now you’ve gone to the other side
Your memory will never hide
Because you planted seeds and watched them grow
And now they flourish in the minds of all who know.........

online today!
Moon of silver, shine for me
Reaching beauty, across the sea
Shimmering light, a pathway form
Across the ocean, in still or storm
Allowing dreamers, with mesmerizing gaze
Releasing wishes, time never erase
Mix of memories past, and those to make
With strangers-friends, in truth not fake
Sharing moments, of life and love
Luna linking presence, high above
Seen from far corners, of the same globe
Releasing emotions, as happiness flowed
Maker of hopes, and dreams unique
With childlike wonder, belief's may creep
Lifting daydreams, towards a goal
Miracles can happen, to nourish a soul.
Those special people, we meet in life
Who caress our thoughts, never give strife
Distance can never break the friendship bond
Thoughts make us smile, like a wizard waves a wand.
