Cafe challenge (who would she be)?

I leave it up to you poets..
Whom among all the poet ladies do
you think I am most compatible?

Wow! Have I opended Pandora's box
or what? Lol

I have a deep love an admiration for
all my lady poets to be sure, but perhaps
one may be suited for me.

You know me.
You know my heart.
You know my strengths
and weaknesses to a degree.

Soooo... break out the popcorn
and cokes and get that vote in.

This could be fun.

Yours Truly

Still Waiting For You (Revised)

Still Waiting For You

Baby only give me a sign
A soaring wing on a silver cloud
Pack me up when I'm feeling down
All stoned here on the ground

Brother give me some freedom
Stop chasing me around
Watching me all the time
Is there no place left to hide

My thoughts are still deceiving me
Those lies I keep believing
When I’ve clearly lost my way
In a fog shrouding away

How long will I ever know
The greatest gift you bestow
When I am lost and never found
Just slip away without a sound

Still waiting for you inside
Is love just left in a bottle
Tossed away in the sea
Never before did you believe

And now I wait for your reply

Going Friends

I hope that someday we will meet again
When the cloud will again shower rain,
the ways will be familiar to you and me,
but it was and will be all about me,
I will wait for the time you look at me,
it will turn to be my happy face key.
Now I think if you were the same,
whom I put the blame,
then I feel a huge shame,
then I feel a huge shame.
The blame of trustworthy fails,
When I look at your trails.

My quest is not still over,
who will be my lover,
I do not want to know
I do not want to know
let it fall just like the snow
which brings all,
pleasure, happiness in a row.

To virtual friends:

I on the website "acquire" communications,
And they are, of course, not vicious!
Friendship – it happens different:
Easy, superficial, strong!

I have always friends around,
Among them, of course, there are darlings.
Hi, my distant dear friend!
Hello, my irreplaceable!

I do not know how there at whom …
I have always only one opinion:
I do not want to offend anybody
Also I wish all of you – moods!

Let friends laugh and sing!
Let them be jealous and fall in love!
Let, though for several minutes,
On my page appear!

Let's Be Friends

Poets, poets, let’s be friends,
No hurt feelings, you’re the best.
We are here to speak our mind,
Clean our breasts of hurt and spite.
I’m your fan, I say with pride,
I find pleasure in your write,
Write and share your feelings, strife,
Write as much as you feel right.

For Cailin

“I do all that becomes a man….he that does more is none.”

Don’t look for heroes,
I’m not Theseus battling the Minotaur.
Once someone showed me the world,
Of imagination.
I’ve learned I can live there quite happily,
Off with the fairies,
Creating a persona to live by,
Not as grand as Jay Gatsby,
But with the same Romantic vision…perhaps.
I can fly like a drone outside myself,
I can survey the world of ritual,
And instinct and platitudes,
I’m part of it.
Those squizzy moments of rapture,
And the fantasy of dreams.
I’ve placed so much upon them,
While truth has always lurked,
Beneath the illusion.
Often I won’t let it enter.
In the end I am all you think I am,
And nothing,
A creature scuttling and grasping,
And believing and hoping,
As ordinary and as great as everyman.

Regret and pain

Here I am, stumbling down the street
The rain's pouring down
I'm staring at my feet

But splashing on my feet it is
my tears and not the rain
They're are salty and bloodstained
From my agonizing pain

Nobody could be more
mad at me than me
Why was I so stupid?
Never again will she trust me

She's asking me too many questions
Ones I want so much to ignore
But I've brought this on myself
What else could I have been asking for?

When I think about the way things are
The tears roll down my face
If only I could turn back time
I would've never ended up in this place.

Friend for ever

Of all the friends I ever met,
Your the one I won't forget,
And if I die before you
I'll go to heaven and wait for you.

FRIENDSHIPS

Friendships cannot be measured
in time or space
nor can be broken
in life's fast pace

Crossing angry waves
or basking in the sun
Sweet friendships
can never be undone

Crossing cultures and colors
sweet minds will meet
Like earth's gravity
or a magnet must meet

true friendships, unlike
friendly passing ships
Will stay in memories
in a beautiful peaceful place

I can hear is my breathing

The only thing I can hear is my breathing;
The only thing I can feel is the pain in my soul;
The only thing I can see is the infinite emptiness.

In me it is quiet. Still as in a lifeless body.
A body that had just been left lying,
Without paying any attention to it.

I feel useless and useless,
The meaning of my life no longer exists.
Every thought of the good disappears.

It seemed as though hatred and dislike were prevailing,
As if I were different from the others.
The desire for attention became too great.

My personality disappears in the earth
And adapts to life ...
I now swim in the stream of the masses.
