a voice (something fun)

A voice.
So much can be felt and expressed,
So much can be learned by a persons voice.

So lets see how we sound?

My Friends

~thoughts of pain,self inflicted
~so weak and tired
~barely having the will to lift my head
~i almost give in,
~i almost cave
~i wanted to curl up and die
~but i dont
~i cry myself to sleep
~when i wake, i cry again
~not from pain or sorrow
~but from joy and happiness
~my friends stood up for me
~they helped me get back on my feet
~they have my back
~even if they dont support my choices
~they dont criticize me either
~i stand, with their help,
~and hold my head high
~you cant bring me down
~i wont let you
~and if i slip,
~i know my friends will catch me
~and help me once more
~they are with me through it all
~and they let me know i can make it
~i know im truly blessed to have such friends
~and i will never forget it
~my friends are loyal and true
~my friends wont let me fall

Teddy ~ Bear

Teddy ~ Bear

Teddy wants a friend to cuddle!

But he’s too shy to say!

He wants to hold paws with you, especially
on such a special day!

Don’t squeeze him to hard, a little hug will do!

If you hug him gentle and tender, he will give
it back to you!

A Teddy for your pillow, if you take him home!

Or keep him on your desk and he will be your
friend forever, near your telephone!

He will smile at you with button eyes,
because he thinks you are the very best!

He is soft and cuddly, so squeeze him softly
and give him a gentle hugging loving test!

Will you be my huggy bear?

The Three Rivers

As pouring torrents spewed
to a guided reel of
directed stream
scrambled sane
to Us, we lean

Of such purity
does one look
and see

No no

Some know not
How to be free

closed passions
a thought
that no one understands

from all around
the breaking of the highway
such beauty

release ourselves
to all that is GOOD

Just havin' a beer
upon the deck
I stood

An apple

An apple, so many thoughts for so many people.
To me it was always just an apple:-)

Now it will forever remind me of a man,
A sweet, beautiful man who showed me the boy inside,
Who showed me himself as nobody else ever did.

A rich, ruby red apple, sweet inside with skin that shines in the light.

That is our friendship.

Rich, bright, strong and sweet with a light that shines bright.

Thank you.

You Were There

I felt so alone
Nobody cared
But then I met you
And you were there

My life was in shambles
I cried all the time
And then I met you
And you were there

It feels good to have friends
Someone who will care
Especially you
And I'm glad that you're there

This poem is dedicated to Tiffany.

MARINA : My Tribute To A Friend

Marina is a special lady of distinction and honour
As she guided my hand to write poems from my heart
I wrote poems before to enter them in competition
Though the more I tried, I never could win.

Years later I created more poems to display In my
Book hoping one day I would reach the pinnacle of
Success but alas I was doomed to failure again, so
I put my poems to rest again I would not put pen to
Paper for a long time to come as my writing seemed
A failure as from day one.

Years went by and I left my wife, I looked for a
New partner having no luck I tried different dating
Sites looking for love, but I always failed the more
I tried, I found a poetry section on a dating site
It made me remember old times of the past, writing
For competitions and never ever winning at all
What if I posted my old poetry here, it would be sort
Of a labour of love.

I did so and I posted my first poem "Life", I thought
That was nice so I wrote more of my old poems as a
Legacy of my past, when I finished the last of my poems
I felt I had done enough, and was going to end this
Poetry forever. A day went by as I was reading my
Emails, I then discovered this wonderful person.

She was an inspiration to me and told me she loved
My poems asking me for some more, I was going to quit
Writing forever and had no plans to return, so I gave
It some thought, it was crunch time now, and I had to decide,
Whether or not to disappoint my fan, So I decided to write
One more for Christmas, so as to please my dearest fan.
To my amazement I recieved another comment, my admiring fan
Saying she liked it again, She advised me to keep writing
This poetry as it was a gift to us all.

I was in a dilemma now, I have this gift so what shall I do,
Should I quit right now or do I come shining through, with
The poetry that seems to make people feel good, Is it my right
To keep going or stay forgotten for good. I chose to keep going
As I had discovered a friend, Marina's her name, whom
I will stay faithful to the end.

Chance Meeting

Chance Meeting

We crossed paths, and simply said "hello".
A one chance meeting, but little did we know.
A brief interlude, a silent spell.
Sharing small moments causing hearts to swell.

Exchanging words, feeling like a school kid.
Oblivious to what is happening as we did.
Hearing and feeling the connection that we share.
Though we haven't met, we both know that its there.

Not knowing why we are here,
Not knowing what we have found.
We're both feeling all these pleasures,
With warm sensations all around.

Just seeing a message from you, it brightens up my day,
Bringing warm hearted smiles and much happiness my way.
There's a song inside my heart, can't you hear it too?
For the drumbeat that you're hearing-is my heart beating just for you!

A silver thread

Have you ever felt a deep spiritual connection with someone you have never seen or met?

Its like a silver thread that reaches out and connects with your mind, you feel them deep inside your soul and its like they belong there somehow.

Its a scary feeling because its so deep you feel like at any second they will disappear and it will be like a dream.

If you pull to fast on the tread it will snap and be lost, and if you let it get too loose it will be pulled to far away and you will not be able to see them any longer in your mind.

Darkly perfect, friend of my soul, hold onto the now and enjoy every second we are allowed.

The Mad Nubian Goat Herder

"there she goes"
they whispered and grinned

"that's the mad Nubian Poet"
"I hear she has sinned"

"she has friends though?"
"Yeah right, I'm sure she has

one"

"not too sure
she seems like fun"

"she lives on farm now"
"what does that say"

"milking goats
and no play?"

"look at her wellies"
"all painted with signs"

"but they are circles of peace"

"yeah, she's so hippy"
"behind the times"

"ssssshhh, she's heading our way"

"More wine with your cheese?"
"I welcome your stay"

A tender smile
broke like a rainbow
over her face

As under her swannie

Was leather and and lace
