Why think more highly of their status

You will give them a swollen head

From trusted waters

winds of all that
sting

of no path they have the journey
taking all

a flicker of a breath

the cruel

The joy of beauty to us is innate
On our march through life in this woeful state

Needing those finer things for us to mend
To counter the imbalances and make them blend

Or the bitterness of age may tear us down
When no way to heal our souls is found

Cultivating love while through this life we came
Anointing the manifest beauty is our game

Seeking this illusive sight is our joy
A gift from God this sight we all employ

The female body is the most beautiful of those
Men's souls become attached to the women we chose

Needing the serenity of everlasting love
Fitting together like a hand in a glove

A womens beauty and grace lures a man
The wanting her and needing her by god's plan

Taking two lonely lives each brief in the world
Just as a lovely woman's body made for love will unfurl

Purple hue on the horizon
Clouds waltz by like a slow song
Purple river flowing by the meadow
And the river is winding and long

A chariot with a king who wears a purple robe and a purple ring

They cross a bridge over a purple lake
Where three swans swim with their heads bowed low to cry
Lest they fear the king be too late
For the queen is ill and if she sould die

But wait

the sun was shinning brightly through my window pane
And all of a sudden that is when a loud knock at the door came
There was a voice that was dark and deep with a terrible cough
And so for now the story will have to end as I put the book down
And take my sunglasses off
