Broken Heart

Sifting through the rubble
of a broken heart
trying to understand
the pieces that fell apart
curled up in a corner
where the light went dark
frozen eyes in the dead of air
with a tear falling to the floor
a sniffling nose
broke silence of the night
laying on the floor
holding a knife
closing eyes in dead of night
9am knock on the door
come on in
there is blood on the floor
birds singing overtaken
by the screaming
there you stood
with a
broken heart

A Casual Affair

A new friend in my life I wanted you to be
Dateless weekends would become part of my past history
Out on the dance floor two pairs of feet moving slowly to a favorite song
With no strings attached how could either of us go wrong?

At a sporting event supporting a favorite team
No longer having loneliness to contend with; living the American Dream
Whenever I became hungry my new friend always at my side
Discussing common interests a source of mutual pride.

Off together to the theatre a new feature to see
Close together in physical harmony on a couch watching a rental DVD
For an extended period of time everything was mutual bliss
Unfortunately from her side there was an issue I apparently has missed.

While she was youthful; Father Time was not on my side
Control over someone's future not acceptable as I allowed patience to be my guide
Explaining my reasons; a look of unhappiness covered her non believing eyes
After a final embrace; both of us sadly got to try additional heartache on for size.

About this poem:
Friendship is more important than marriage. Many good people are pushed aside in the continuing quest for that SPECIAL someone. Partial happiness is NEVER enough for some people. IDEALISM acts as a smoke screen in the continuing quest for social satisfaction.

Laura Laura
What do you see
Evil monster staring at me
Feels like I’m being washed out to sea

Laura Laura
Why so sad?
I gave to you my heart
Now it’s nowhere
Never to be found.

Laura Laura
How could this be
You tricked me
I gave to you my soul
With a smile you stole

Laura Laura
Why do you cry
You filled me with nothing but lies
Left me dying inside

Laura Laura
What do you need
Someone to feed my soul
It’s now so cold
Nothing you would want to hold.

~Innocence of yesterday~

I know what you're all thinking
Reading and clicking your mouse
Obscure visioned memories
Found, way down deep and safe.

A mere fourteen growing boy
Lots too explore
An a mind set extreme
on knowing how to get
to adult ignore.

Yet it always wasn't living a young life on ignore
Experiencing gathers what we self have to learn
You can say it, we could read it yet it won't comprehend
The need is the deed to get the message you send.

A forty year look back to some memorable days
Some memories are foggy, some just won't come out
Some forgotten, some treasured, some waiting in line
The day just may come
....
....
A memories been waiting for.

About this poem:
I had a nice chat with a lady today, we at the age of 14, kissed quite a bit. We both remember our brief little boyfriend and girlfriend thing lol. A very cool memory I experienced today and wanted to write about it.It's been about forty years since we talked lol.

How does that second kind of love get in?

Maybe I lack proper experience
but I have found
that when love's song starts to play
just behind it there is a window
with a hole freshly grooved through it

Love is one of those things
that always needs to be excused
(and I'm not talking about the platonic kind)

It is the embodiment of nonrestraint, of a phrase
presented as a question but that really knows nothing of "No"

When love enters there is mud on the floor behind it
or a trail of broken glass
that needs to be cleaned
And standing sentry at its proposal is a
mathematical formula that determines
which tresspass will go unnamed
and which will not

Dating Woes

Or mind games, land mines and bad wine
Stand in line, money's fine and Francinestein
I don't think so's and "baby don't you know?"
Keep a straight face. Learn to eat crow
There was the lady that was totally fridgid
The large bossomed dame called Bridgit
A woman who checked my car before me
A female that would argue over what we see
A lady who said "we cant do this anymore"
When I asked her what she got really sore
Im still trying to figure out what "this" was
Asked another lady and she said "just because"
Oh yah and the one that got really weird
Tried to find out what was wrong as she sneered
A sweet lady that turned out to be a drunk
The lady that thought every man was a hunk
A large lady that would have cracked had she smiled
A nice red haired lady that I like but dissappeared
The one that only looked like her picture after 6 beers
One that I couldn't understand because of tears
Then the broad that wanted me if I were rich
Also one that was haughty and a right ....gllllitch!
One stood me up but apologized really politely
Thought she was nice until I found it was nightly
Are there any nice sane and sweet woman out there?
Because if there is know I am a guy that would care

Yes

Sarah smiled
Her eyes were downcast
And she told a story
While her heart beat faster

And he listened
Patiently at first
and with tremendous gesture
He knelt beside her

She said:
"Truth lives like shades of autumn
Awaiting spring
Dawn's lovliest hours
Which winter brings

"She cried
Summer's fateful blossom
For she knows
The hours will come to a close

"And she lay her head down
Upon a breath of cold
For she knows
In time she will again regrow"

There he smiled
Wiped a tear from her cheek
And thought how beautiful
She is when she's weak

And she said:
"I am that moment of truth
Sleeps inside my heart
The blossom
Whose love awaits the spring inside you

"Do you understand?"
And he said:
"Yes."

All Because of You

The hate I'm feeling now

Won't be healed overnight

Can't think of any way

You'll ever make things right

You think that you're so wise

So tell me what to do

You have nothing to say now

This is all because of you

When I neededyou most

You were never there

Why do you look so surprised

Giving me that stupid blank stare

You ruined my my life

HOw can I ever repay you

You say it's not your fault

But it is, so f*ck you

Why must you treat me like this

I've dealt with your shit before

But now those times have passed

I won't deal with it anymore

You think that you're so wise

So tell me what to do

I'm losing all my friends

And it's all beacuse of you

I wish that I could talk to you

But when I do you just refrain

Keeping this shit bottled up

Is driving me totally insane

You think that you're so wise

Dammit, tell me what to do

I've lost my love, my friends, my mind

And it's all because of you

I met you in a dream.

Could it be we’ve met before?
Walking along a distant shore
For the longest time we talk
As we enjoy our little walk
Feeling that your hand’s in mine
Together for the longest time

Could it be our spirits entwine
Does your soul reach out to mine
Pulses race and hearts aflutter
Soft sweet words that we utter
Moonlit nights beneath clear skys
Drowning in your starry eyes

Could it be I found you here
Searching over many a year
Guided by the stars above
Could it be I found true love
An end to all the lonely times
No more sad and lonely rhymes

Could it be now that I wake
A cruel dream that’s now opaque
The fancies of a lonely heart
Memories that will soon depart
All of these, my aspirations
Disappearing lost creations

Love Real Men have Grace Mercy

Title:
Love Real men have Grace, Mercy
"CLASS"
Love Real adult men have grace Mercy in their words actions & soul
&
All
Communications
A Gentleman
Never juvenile
never ugly
Never a punk kid!
Throwing a temper tantrum
Or jealousy nor rude:

And the reward he gets back
He Will be rewarded tonight
Or
Tomorrow
With
Afternoon Delight!
In the following verse!:

My Darling

Proclaiming my aspirations
To you!
I wish my arms were wrapped around you in a warm cozy embrace
Home will become different than the world you presently know
One you have never known before
Elevated to the highest
Inspiring peace ...
home will never be cold again
my biggest desire
true love
You will never starve again for affection of any kind again
Your lips will be satisfied
Your tummy happy
Your feet relaxed
Your body soothed
Your soul glowing in
Happiness!
Your blonde hair will shine
Blow its elegance in the wind
In my hands
At the beach
if you are in my world
I will do
everything
&
anything
Within
my powers & passions
Of numerous types
to give you
Love
teamwork in the kitchen
On the couch
At the beach
In the sand
In the pool, hot tub,
On the very Romantic
Chair of Passion
Shared by two not three
The Chaise Lounge
Under the Cabana
Balmy & Refreshing!
Under the
gentle water fall
Caresses & Tender
Succulent gentle kisses
In OUR bed
Our Nest
Not his or hers
Our
And a special lovers
Horizontal dance
Of unbridled passion
Under a goose down comforter with
Comfy hugging
Loving warm sheets
Dali sheep skins
warming your toes
On the end of the bed
On cold nights or days
In an Alaskan Igloo
King size bed
Swaying to the rhythm
From the heavens Divine
Sublime
Your mine!
You will exclaim
Ohhh! la la la she's mine!
&
thank the heavens
so fine!
For her sweetness divine
Her kisses divine
Mighty fine!
Never to be lonely again!
Composed just now
4
YOU!
Yours
I am Unique
A Gem
Unforgettable
Like no other
A mother
I will promise
U
That!
The long Wait ...
Will surely be worth
Every penny
Priceless
Every second w me
My hands will feel heaven
Within your soul
As close to the heavens
as a human can get
Our time on the dance floor
Will be pure bliss
Swaying to natural divine harmony complimenting melody!!!
One word or 2 or 3 or more
Mmm ooohhh aaahhh
Oh my u r fine!
Thank u Lord above
So very much
We will shine
Grins giggles laughter

Thank you
I keep updating it
Only from divine intervention
Can it flow this fine silk
Only
pure Love
This sweet Bliss
sweeter than honey
Nectar from the Gods!
Gift from the Heavens
Mmmm pure Goodness!
Bliss with Mr. Right
Mr. Effort
Mr. Willing to do the work
will win
The whole enchilada
The Divine Prize
Many seek
Lost in the wilderness
Too blind
To recognize the Angel
Before them
Standing
right in front Of him!
You snooze you loose
If she slipped out of your hands
Look in the mirror
at yourself
Eat your heart out
She was there
u blew it
Your window of opportunity gone
The door has now closed to U!
Your inattentive mind
Left a vacancy
For Mr. Attentive
And not giving him up to anybody
He's mine
So FINE
Willing able loving kind
In tune with the Love Fine Tuned like a piano pitch fork the Love Frequency
Of Harmony
Who will give her
HIS ALL
Not scraps!
