Have I Told You How Much I Love You

Have I told You how much I love you
How the earth moves when you are near
Your heat goes right through me
And your glistening black body excites
How I love to run my hands along you
Feeling all those lovely, shapely curves
When the right buttons I push
Your body quivers, shakes with delight
Have I told You how much I love you
Old steam engine number nine

N/A

A wise old Indian chief once told his braves that inside him he had two wolves fighting for supremacy -- one called love and the other hate. When asked which one was winning, he answered: "The one I feed."

Do You

I often wonder if you think of me
Do you ever think of what could be
Silhouettes against sky of deep blue
Perhaps then think of me and you
We laughed and talked and shared
We smiled and flirted...and knew I cared
I loved you and could contain it no longer
You encouraged me and it grew stronger
I planned a life of happiness with you
If only you could have envisioned it too
Smiles and laughter, caresses and kisses
What more could you want I now insist
I can only visualize a life so happy
Did you give it up for something shiny
Did you give it up for words of deception
Will you ask me for your redemption
I could never understand your words
Sometimes loving and often absurd
You Brushed away my sincere true love
Cupid wept a tear from high above
I often wonder if you think of me
Do you ever think of what could be
Silhouettes against sky of deep blue
Perhaps then think of me and you

"Common Sense"

What do u see when u look at me
Can u see the hatred behind my soft gazing eyes
Can u see the scars i suffered through the way i walk
Can u hear my thoughts from my charming voice
Or taste the evil in the air when im close by
Can u sense the plots running through my head
What about the way i play in the rain to wash my sins
Or the fear that haunts u when u touch my skin
Can u feel the power within me
When u read this can u answer "yes" to any of it?
If u can then the rest is common sense.

Parting Thoughts

Parting Thoughts
By Paula O'Sullivan

No unkept grave for me,
scatter my ashes among the trees,
set my soul and body free.

I may be gone,
gone out of sight,
but think of me,
on a starry moonlit night,

or think of me in an autumn breeze
I’ll be dancing with the coloured leaves.

Don’t feel low
for I’ll feel high,
look for me in the sunset sky.

Look for me,
when the wind bends the trees,
that’s when I’ll feel most free,
I’ll love those winds caressing me.

Look for me in all things glad and gay,
seek me out on a summers day.

Don’t feel sorrowful,
just be glad,
think of the good times that we had.

It’s part of the cycle,
that life will cease,
but think of the rest…
the sighful peace.

Listen for my voice in the robin’s song,
and remember darling, it won’t be long,

In life or death,
we’ll still be friends,

there’s always beginnings,
and there’s always an end,

in no time at all, we’ll be together again.

….But in the meantime,
life goes on,
get on with your life,
and try to be strong
life is for living,
I hope you live long.

Let go of the sorrow,
the sadness,
the pain…

and soon you’ll find love,
and laughter again.

Now that she's gone

My first love gave me so much pride,
now that's she's gone all i can do Is hide.

I felt like I was on top of the world and full of fame,
now that's she's gone all I do is hang my head with shame.

When we were together nothing could break us apart near or far,
now that she's gone all I have left on my heart is a scar.

I wish her all very the best,
now that she's gone she can't cry on my chest.

I'm sure she's happy and doing well,
now that she's gone why does it feel like my life is going to hell.

"Tiny In My Eyes"

"Tiny in my eyes"

Walking along wetted sand watching graceful gulls glide,
I have a sense that I too am watched with each and every stride.
It's a strange awareness to feel observed without seeing from who,
as in all directions I cast my glance but no one comes into view.

I continue walking trying to ignore as a tide pool now appears,
trying to ignore this creepy feeling that's working up my fears.
I came here to escape the mad hustle, bustle and rush of man,
not to be someone's experiment being watched upon the sand.

Another attempt to see who it is that's been staring down at me,
I throw my head and wheel around with mounting anxiety.
The sights I came to see and capture have all but lost their flare,
due to this feeling of being watched by someone who isn't there!

My stomach begins to ache within as tension continues to grow,
This creep that's been staring at me I'd certainly like to know.
Sounds are clear, sights are grand but this one thing I've still craved,
Who or what is watching me? - OH! it's the ocean that just waved!

How silly of me to get so distraught over something completely dumb,
to think that I'd been fretting over the presence of absolutely no-one.
I knew that in comparison to a giant ocean so grand in all it's size,
I'd be quite small standing next to it, but never so tiny in my eyes!

About this poem:
This was a poem that I wrote with a self-inflicted time restriction... I had 10 minutes before a particular meeting started and I wanted to write a poem within that 10 minute time frame... this is what evolved.

fairytale princess

storming this castle
a princess
who wears
the crown
you reign
in the land
of love

kneeling before you
taking your hand
soft petals
blossom within
deep walls
there's a space
kissing feelings
within this heart
filled with emotion
locked inside

awaiting to embrace
every thought
in a dream
burning hot desires
only you who hears
the deep whisper
no one but you
hears this
soul's voice

flying without wings
feelings setting
into the sunset
as you take
emotions hand
softly so slowly

you are a star
in a distant horizon
stay with me
in this fairytale
forever is eternal
happy ever after
you my dream

Find me love...

Find me love wherever u are
Come to me faster and ready
To stay forever and never go
Let me hug u when u come.

Find me love and show me,
The way to happiness
The sun and stars
The kisses and the hugs.

Find me love and tell me
The way to heaven
The laugh and smile
And all the light.

a new day....(a new title)

for a long time, perhaps a wrong time
I was in love with you
yet you doubted and you pouted
til that day I just withdrew
left you on the roadside of my life
please don't leave me here, you cried

but I moved on anyway
no matter what you had to say
I felt as though been led astray
no longer need for me to stay
you rode me down, and then, drove me away
....to live another day

(but I want to write a really long version of this, in the spirit of around the world and back, kinda thing, but it's 4:07am..bedtime)
