Sitting at a funeral for a friend, should I be sad?is he gone?,when you light a candle with another candle the flame lives on,perhaps I should rejoice that the world was a much better place for 61 years.

Such a beautiful daughter, you are to me
What a blessing, God gave to me.
The smile, on your face,
Shows your beauty , and your grace.
My daughter, you are forever, my shining star
Never, far from my heart,
will you ever be.
The love, you give makes me glow, with pride
Amanda, you were the most beautiful bride
I cried ,and cried
In my heart knew,
what a loving wife, you were soon to be
You have such beauty, and elegance
You are the definition of class
You make me proud, and honored,
To, have raised such a loving, caring, giving, and selfless daughter
You forever will be my best friend, my, pride, and my joy,
When I look into your eyes,
My heart cries
I have the most loving daughter.
Love, Mommy

When my gran died we all cried
For an era had certainly passed
My grandfathers legacy of her war pension home
Was now out of my mothers grasp
Bequeathed to be Sold
The words may somehow have read
To be shared with her only sibling
Whose life was way better than led
But my mothers resolve was always guided
By the one she adored the most
Her faith led to a fisherman's shack
A mere five minute walk to the coast
Where her love for the sea
Did reveal and heal the scars of past
With daily walks and her cigarettes
An irony of years she would last
But it was the shack that blessed her twilight years
And gave her so much joy
Perched on the side of a hill
It looked almost coy
Amidst a stand of huge Pines
And the odd Eucalypt or two
A giant Jacaranda leered
For all passing by to view
A home for all the possums
And any other critters passing by
The notes from her piano
Would soothe my mothers sigh.........

About this poem:
My Grandfather would be very proud of his daughters resilience to the Wars Of Life........unfortunately he left behind two beautiful girls under the age of twelve........He led tours in Egypt and PNG and died in hospital after contracting an infection from injury ........I visited his grave in a war cemetery just four hours north of here...... I wrote this for all the people that were affected by his passing........They too have passed.........Love and peace too all those suffering the atrocities of war around the world ........May it stop quickly so my sons and there sons can still appreciate the beauty of on ever diminishing world.....

Mirror mirror on the Ceiling,
Explain to me this peculiar feeling
As I gaze into this reflective glass,
I recall the time I Tanned your a**
Towering astride in my leather Gear
The Countess is present she's really here
Strong and formidable kinky too
She's a lot to handle for a guy like you
Mirror mirror on the Ceiling explain to me what you're revealing
This woman I see in the reflection
Is it truly me
Or self-deception
Mirror mirror on the Ceiling
Who's this guy at my feet kneeling
Massaging my toes with frankincenseand & myrrh
Who'd believe this would actually occur
Once a woman oppressed subjugated and demeaned
Now takes flight after being quarantined
Agile winged Crane
Soaring new hights
The released child thrives whilst the flame ignites
Mirror mirror on the Ceiling You now bring comfort and therapeutic healing

About this poem:
This poem was inspired by the fairy tale mirror mirror on the wall...
I thought mirror mirror on the ceiling would be a nice adult Twist.
This was part of a project where we were decorating mirrors...
My full length mirror was decorated fit for Freddie Mercury... and was exhibited at the Alley Theatre Strabane.

We stand here alone,
the road is so far as we drift upon and wonder
where it will take us to.
When times seem so hard,
and no other person is even near we often
think if it is a good bye.
Some come and go as,
far as they can walk until they reach their
destiny of being not too far.
People never want to hear goodbye
with welcoming hands they say hello.
Why is it easy to come but never
~~ to go ~~
JUST NEVER SAY GOOD BYE
FOR--EVER....

Stampede my soul with the feets of men not a few. Let their footprint be for remembrance that i lived. Quickly i came and departed a man of sorrow. I am the seed of adam that dwell in the black terrestial abode of the oval globe;i found for me a maid whose form was delicate as the petals of roses,in the times of yesterday's light. But when the heat came she withered away. The molecules in the wind for pity, reforms for me my dainty queen but then they are only scenes from yesterday. To the underworld i procede for my love to seek,i know she would be waiting under the mulberry tree we created in the world of our fantasy. She must be cold because i am the garmet that giveth her warmth, she must be afraid for i the sword for her protection. Goodbye mama, tell my brethren i have joined the wind. Tell my priest that the flaming chariots of love have taken me away,do not explain mama,he would understand. Tell my friends to remember me. Tell them the world is no more for the shadow of clara is no more casted upon her terrains, her obvious visibility is turned into dust.

Theres an old tree sitting on a hill, at first glance it seems worthless and ugly, the branches are twisted and rotten, it does not bear fruit, it has no blooms or leaves. When you see it you wonder: why is it there? What good could come from it? Then the clouds cleared away from the sun, and its golden rays shone through the mangled limbs, suddenly on the ground from the beams of the morning sun was a beautiful cross made out of light.

There's nothing worse than your mom's thorns
only great big pointy spears!
A western wind has just been born

1.7 miles down an old gravel road
Where the deer keep the grass cut just like it was mowed
Driving down paradise drive
Makes me feel free and reminds me I'm alive
The river is my therapist it gives me peace of mind!
It's the closest thing to heaven That I find
You can find me lost out in the sticks
Hunting for whitetails u can call it my fix
Theres nothin beter than the great outdoors
I'm beter off here than out chasin whores
The campfire is my kitchen
It cooks beter than my xwife and It never starts bitchin
Under that old oak tree Layin in the shade
Livin the good life got it made
If ya want some of what I'm lookin for
Beter hit the woods can't find it at a store
Time and time again like I've been here b4
It always keeps me comin back for more
