The World had Bled

A part of me is always a part of you
But I have no ability to begin anew
I have bled my heart beyond repair
We have taken your body and left despair

The rolling thunder plagues my soul
Is it mad desire to bequeath a dust bowl?
I breathe within you and see with knowing eyes
What we have taken comes in false disguise

For we would breathe as seeming one
Forever taking, you would strive to render undone
I would gather your richness within my hand
That slipped through fingers as grains of sand

Your winds of defiance to us tried to speak
We took your beauty and made it ever bleak
As oceans stagnate and green forests fall
It is no passing phase as a nighttimes squall

The arctic winds no longer breathe an icy chill
Mankind will eventually swallow a bitter pill
Within our nature to do too little to late
We tear out your heart and serve it on our plate

You give us life; we bring you your death
Let us both enjoy our last single breath
Like I, a heart laid open emotionally bare
The world had bled, with thoughtless care

lindsyjonesonline today!

slaughtered yet again

dark hours of the world
in the hands of the decadent
immoral and unprincipled

terrorism knows no God
so they say: then why claim
in the name of Islam?

and, why do we lay passive
witnessing the death and tortures
of the non warmongers
and the innocent?

did they deserve to die
just because they embrace peace?
they are students for pete's sake

learning about life, love, kindness
have you seen them hurt anyone?

have they spit on your face
and have you condemned?

no!. their only fault is that
they stand for what they believe in
to love God and their fellow man

they are Christian..
peace loving and deserving
to live as human.

I grieve, I am in a rage
for my tired heart
and weary mind can't understand

the question is: must we do nothing?

About this poem:
dedicated to the latest victims in the name of Islam, who claimed the lives of the poor Kenyan students 147 of them.

Note: let us not forget, they let all the muslims ones go then killed all the Christians. Exact same way as in the Nairobi Mall in 2013.

When will it end? Meantime, on Fox News, there is a discussion of NUKING THE MUSLIM COUNTRY. Google it. I don't want this to happen, nor will I endorse it, but awareness for what it happening is important.

Thank you all for your reads.

I Cycled Around The Moon

For I have cycled around the Moon
I know it took me
All of May and most of June
The surface was bumpy
And full of mounds and holes
I wasn’t aware that the Moon had Moles
I reached the dark side
And for some that could be a little scary
But I can assure you
There are no monsters or anything large and hairy
But I came equipped
I had my dynamo and a little black torch
And upon my bike
For protection I had built a nice thatched porch
But then I tried
To cycle that journey around your heart
But try as I might
I failed because we are so far apart
But here was a man
That had cycled all around the Moon
And when passion awaits
I could not be defeated by a mere sand dune
So I set of again
This time in the early breeze of March
So look for me
Over there underneath that famous arch
So as you
Sit on your rock and dream and stare
Wondering if
I will wave back to you from over there
So do not worry
For I have my dynamo and torch so small and black
And maybe one day
You will see me and be able to wave back
So off I went
With pedals and hope burning, reaching out for you
For I knew
That your love would be awaiting and oh so true
For I have cycled
So far and all around the silvery Moon
So I set of in March
To reach your heart by the end of June

About this poem:
The circumference of the Moon is 6,790 miles, so I know all you ladies will be dashing for your sewing baskets reaching for the tape and measuring on the map how far you are from Alicante!. It must be me because I am only 6 inches she cried!.
Male sarcasm and pure hope is raging here!. There is nothing worse than hopeless rage!. Those that know me then know I am only joking!, should I have bought a tandem??

Connected

Connected to pain.
Connected to loss.
Connected to sadness.
Connected to words that bind.
Disconnected from you.

Thousand Steps.

A thousand steps
along a crooked fence
broken boards
shattered dreams
rusty nail
carving in my jeans
a small creek
flowing underneath
horses stop
to take a drink
a thousand steps
along a crooked fence
mended boards
in the field
of dreams
a small scratch
in my worn out
blue jeans.

UNDERARM AROMA

WHEN I TRAVEL ON THE BUS, IT'S SO STRONG; IT PUTS ME IN A COMA! THERE SHOULD BE, A LIGHT OR SIREN, THAT COMES ON, WHEN SOMEONE ATTEMPTS TO BOARD THE BUS; WITHOUT SHOWERING! THIS WAY; THEY'D GO HOME AND CLEAN UP; AND THAT TO ME, IS QUITE, TOWERING! I SAY; DO UNTO OTHERS; WELL, YOU KNOW THE REST! WHETHER, RICH, OR POOR; YOU HAVE TO STRIVE ,TO BE, AT YOUR BEST! IF YOU CAN'T AFFORD, A WELL KNOWN PRODUCT; WHITE VINEGAR, WILL DO NICELY; WITHOUT BEING, EXOTIC! LET'S ALL GO THROUGH LIFE, SMELLING CLEAN! I SAY THIS; WITH RESPECT TO ALL! NOW; LET'S CONQUER, THE DIRT DEMONS; AND, HAVE A BALL!

Fall Magic

Magical arch paths of beautiful jewels
And rippling beautiful blue pools
Rubies, gold, topaz, amber drifting down
To form a beautiful carpet all around

Walking in this magical place
Feeling the cool crisp breeze on one’s face
Dreaming beautiful dreams for a moment in time
Completely submerged in God’s sublime

His masterpiece paintings show us how much
He loves us all through His beautiful touch
Colors like we’ve never seen before
The bright reds and orange I especially adore

Thank you Lord for these precious fall days
Each day a special blessing of color and grace
Knowing soon coming will be winter days
Of white diamond crystals and skies of gray

PEACE

In a seemingly crazy world ,may we not necessarily forget but strive to overcome our yesteryears
Move on in unity and peace with love for our fellow human beings instead of being crippled by hatred and fear
On this our borrowed land that’s been stained by innocent shed blood and drenched from grieving wept tears
Move forward together, irrespective of when or where one came, what was brought or sought

Some may abuse generiousity but in a world of such inequality, injustice, how can we just look the other way, bury our heads in the sand
For who does it all really belong to anyway, why not offer a helping hand ?
Who gave a Robin his song to be sung and who can say where he was born is where he shall only belong ?
And, whos place is it to declare, to shout, or say who is really right, or who is wrong ?
Who shall throw the first stone, if the truth be known who is right to cast any blame ?
Who really deserves to be clothed in robes made from shame ?

We’ve had too many wars where the heavy burden of evil came to rest upon the shoulders of young soldiers
Who believed and declared that peace was the food they fought for, I wonder how it tasted
when so many gifted lives around them were cut down in their prime so tragically wasted ?

Where did the melting pot go, does anyone know ?
Does it, or should it matter who is right or wrong ?
Or, from which religious organization you may, or may not belong
Who said we must humiliate, segregate, isolate, kill, destroy
someone else’s prescious, beloved girl or boy.

We cannot change the past only try to change the future, have hope and a purpose for which to aim
So let us all rise up against such evil, stop playing this destructive blaming, shaming game.
Stand up and be counted, claim victory, wear a crown of great pride and dignity again
Let’s not waste time trying to propagate, exterminate but instead try protect the children of the future, try embrace
And do so now, today, before all of tommorows promises expire, vanish, gone without a trace !
