Black Sunrise

It's a black and twisted sun today,
Super cold, subzero rays,
Hurt me in a thousand ways,
Like microscopic stabbing pains,
From razor sharp electric blades,
Feeling like I'm froze in place,
My entire body becoming solid,
One leg breaks from walking on it,
Shattered to a million shards,
And as I fall I break an arm,
The frozen blood then reached my heart,
It tried to pump and fell apart,
My spine just simply snaps in half,
As every bone my body has,
buckles creaks and fissure cracks,
And pieces fly like broken glass,
Too many to add with fractal math,
On this day I watched my demise,
The picture framed inside my mind,
Staring blankly dead inside,
Ice crystal eyes see the black sun rise...

A New Poet

They come in not sure of their welcome
post their words with trepidation
scared maybe of being ignored or mocked
not sure even if they can write at all.

You all know this feeling
once too you were new
if lucky someone held out a hand
gathered you under their wing.

Gave you lots of encouragement
by reading and commenting kindly
Happily you replied and learnt
and you too now welcome the new poets.

Carrying on the tradition
for to greet and comment
brings hope to faint hearted
so as you post remember this.

You were once new and unsure
so hold out your hand in friendship
comment on other's poems
and they in turn will respond.

About this poem:
I have noticed that many poets get no comments at all.
in most sites there are dedicated greeters that welcome new poets
Please remember that you were once new and encourage others.
As for the new poet you too should comment on others
By doing so you will make new friends and be encouraged
And yes even inspired by their works so breathe a little life
into this site all it needs is some care and respect for others.

My Warrior Princess

I miss you my warrior princess, I miss your beautiful feminine way and your point view. I am fighting life's battles all alone and without you. I have simply lost my way, bring me back to the center of our souls our home, where I want to stay. The void in my heart and soul will be filled, my life will start anew.

I miss your tender touch, the smell of your skin, and your natural sweet perfume. How I lost you, how I've missed you, I haven't a clue. Now I stand here looking up at the moon wondering where you are in complete and utter gloom. I realize now, that no one can fill my heart my soul and make me glow like you.

A beam of light cries out and comes forth from within me, a ray of love from the very deep recesses of my soul, it's desire is to reach you and to be complete and whole, it reaches far, far out into the universe and where ever you may be. This beam of light and love will never stop until it reaches it's goal. Come to me my darling, come to me my love end my missing you, make me complete and whole.

"Time Speeds By"

As we age~
As we grow older,

The minutes and the hours~
The days and the weeks~
The months and the years~
Seem to pass as quickly
As the blink of an eye.

Life seems to be passing us by,
And we think sadly~
"It is over!"

Our memories become our life line,
Our only connection to the world.

But then a miracle occurs;
And we find another lonely heart
That has been floating alone
In a sea of memories~
Searching for something or someone
To keep them from drowning.

Two strangers meet.
They come from two different worlds.

They join hands and hearts.
They join bodies and souls.

And time somehow slows down,
And gives them the opportunity
To again dream~
To again feel~
To again love!

THE TAUNTING

And night after night; that tauntress, she comes
Creeps into your head, and she pulses and moans

She treks ‘cross your skin, you can feel her trail
While she touches you gently, every mound; every vale

You lose all control, and try as you might
To keep it inside, but you can’t win this fight

Exploring each crevasse, with speed like a snail
She drinks from your river; she makes your chest rale

She remains until dawn, and then crawls from your bed
While you toss and you turn, and you realize she fled

Now alone and cold, you must think of her heat
To give you the energy to rise to your feet

Then day after day, you work on a plan
To tame this sweet vixen, but conclude that you can’t

So night after night; that tauntress returned
And you welcomed her back, for you lived and you learned

Ice Flowers

With ragged nail I scrape
Lacy swirls of ice from windows
See cows in winter's landscape
Backs huddled, frosted with snow
Waiting for me to feed them, I know.

Splash diesel on kindling splinters
Waiting patiently for red glow
Curse the cold and pain of winter
Memories recalled from long ago
Wakened now, in the falling snow.

Freezing winds twist and whistle
Any warmth that the sun bequeaths
Leaving my bones bound and brittle
Cured and preserved in their own sheath.

Slowly melting like daydreams
Ice flows, slide down window
Years don't change, cattle wait in snow
Waiting for me to feed them, I know.

LADY IN WHITE

A gentle cool breeze blew across the water deep
Drifting over the white sandy beach
Up on a slight hill looking down at the waves
Then staring out at the horizon far away

She stood like a statute her white dress in the wind swayed
At a distance a certain wistful air about her played
What thoughts went through her mind to sadden her so
Were they memories of loves lost a long time ago

A hat shaded her expression so it was not clear
Just exactly if these memories brought tears
The sky was blue and the sun shone bright
Yellow flowers at her feet a beautiful sight

All the beauty around her but she still seemed sad
As the wind whipped her dress and tugged at her hat
Why couldn’t she see and be happy with the day
With all nature’s beauty around her displayed

How many times do we ignore nature’s gifts
Standing on our own ocean cliffs
Staring far in the distance horizon sky
Wanting and wishing for the past with a sigh

Redemptive form:

Power through narrative,
Power through Nature.

Epona my redeemer,

for the love of my life......... Orientalkoru

comes a time in a mans life
that the beauty that he sees
is right there in front of him
but is deeper than the trees

its about a persons soul
so rich an very rare
to discover this priceless wealth
your life you want to share

i have found a lovely lady
who has a heart of gold
emerging from the poems
an the comments that have been told

a lady of respect
understanding an truth
a spirit so lovely
enlivening my youth

words that are priceless
an the ease that she may share
has my heart in raptures
an makes me want to care

care for her with love
from the bottom of my heart
care for her with courage
for a life with her to start

there will be no boundaries
of misery an despair
just a joyous life
we both would love to share .......

FRIENDS WITHOUT FACES

We sit and we type, and we stare at our screens
We all have to wonder, what this possibly means.

With our mouse we roam, through the rooms in a maze
Looking for something or someone, as we sit in a daze.

We chat with each other, we type all our woes
Small groups we do form, and gang up on our foes.

We wait for somebody, to type out our name
We want recognition, but it is always the same.

We give kisses and hugs, and sometimes flirt
In IMs we chat deeply, and reveal why we hurt.

We do form friendships - but - why we don't know
But some of these friendships, will flourish and grow.

Why is it on screen, we can be so bold
Telling our secrets, that have never been told.

Why is it we share, the thoughts in our mind
With those we can't see, as though we were blind.

The answer is simple, it is as clear as a bell.
We all have our problems, and need someone to tell.

We can't tell real people, but tell someone we must
So we turn to the 'puter, and to those we can trust.

Even though it is crazy, the truth still remains
They are Friends Without Faces, and odd little names.
