'padded walls'

exploded mind
unplugged and frail
into the empty
jumped off the rail

denial in depth
abyssed darkened thought
hemisphered labotomy
straight jackets n fold

mis-understood minds
stories not told

sanitorium filled with like minded folk
under knife forced down pills
in most views social poke

intellect profound
padded walls not a sound
forced recluse arms in fold
padded floor paced around

echoed walls of plight cry
captive ghosts till they die

unsung eye is not shy
deadened sight lived their lie
as the gavel met the block permeated air
lifetime lock

routined minutes....hours n days
clustered thought in stale haze
one sides right......one sides left
down the middle disconnect
emotions that hang yet...on the edge...of that blade

clunkin clang of the lock every night nine o'clock
five am early rise
no horizon of new size

boiled egg, toast and pills, blackened coffee, tea or juice
lift your tongue...wheres the pill
did you swallow it whole again

twelve foot guard skirts the yard
barbwire link bound atop
one way in...is your out..
visitors log dried up ink

was the gavel
that took
what the mind had to think!

A Fairy Tale of Love

So now we’re about to start.
What would become of us,
If there in Lovers’ pass
The skies had cleared up?!
If skies had cleared up,
I'd give up soul, whole life.
What wrong to world have we done
By being so much in love?

Love's shaking and rattling us,
Our heart in anguish cries,
How bitter-sweet, how hard
Is fairy tale of love!

How fast time slipped away,
How swiftly has it passed,
Love you – what else should I say?
Just this much is not enough.
If skies had cleared up,
I’d give up soul, whole life.
What wrong to world have we done
By being so much in love?!

Love's shaking and rattling us,
Our heart in anguish cries,
How bitter-sweet, how hard
Is fairy tale of love!

And so my story’s done,
If sweet, it’s yours to keep.
A little girl - she once
Saw little boy in her dream.

The Green Witch and the Baby

.
.
.

Sitting down, beside the fire,
She saw the storm clouds, grow,
So, picked up between her fingers,
A thread of frost, and snow.

One thread of rain, and hale,
A thread of thunders boom,
And to finish off, her creation,
A thread of lightenings glow.

Together, she weaved the storm,
Into a small, and patchy blanket.
A thread of arctic winds, she used,
To tightly fix the edges.

Then, she wrapped it round her baby,
and standing back, admired,
Her creation, of a stormy night,
Which, she alone, conspired.

The angels love

If I should wander
long in these hills of ardour
and gather you in the garments of the night
shall our love burn as the angels knew?

If I should wander
with the man who bled
and was cast with the thorns
and rise with the oceans heaving soul
break bare to the cliffs of the stricken
shall I know the love that the angels knew?

If I die tonight

if I die tonight
would you remember me tomorrow
if the sun went out
the stars went dark
would you remember me tomorrow
if I died tonight
if a tornado landed
tore up a town
sun went out
stars went dark
would you remember me
Tomorrow
if I died tonight
if the rivers rose
flooded the ground
if a tornado landed
tore up the town
sun went out
the stars went dark
if I died tonight
would you remember me
Tomorrow
if the stars went dark
the moon went out
rivers flooded the ground
a tornado tore up the town
would you remember me tomorrow
If I died tonight
then stop your madness
for I am all ready dying
for I am the earth
river's are my vain
bursting out at the seem
you think that is just a tornado
No, it is a sneeze
you see
now I got a cold
I just had to blow my nose
I am dying can you not see
I am the earth
would you remember me
if I die tonight

Last Poem (Two versions)

I dreamt that I had penned my final poetic verse
Like a petal
That fell to the ground
That had floated around the Universe
Looking for somewhere
Perhaps to rest its weary head
Or a leaf, twisting and turning
Distraught in its final journey
Seeking solace in grounds bitter welcoming
So, unlike all the trees
I envisaged the finality of life’s falling grace
Like them, my history would leave no trace
But when the Lion roars
Because it failed to catch the Boars
Then it would seek
To come again on another day
For nature has no reasoning
To ever understand the meaning of finality
For what may be relinquished today?
Tomorrow anew will find time to replay
But I will not weep
For knowledge of mortalities sleep
But how I do envy them their ignorance
To live with no penance
For what I know to be the truth
That is left untold
To all the trees and the majestic Lion
Therefore I shall continue to write,
Until I know I will meet my Zion

Last Poem
I dreamt that I had penned my final poetic verse

Looking for somewhere
Perhaps to rest its weary head
Or a leaf
Twisting and turning
Distraught in its final journey
Seeking solace in grounds bitter welcoming
So, like all the trees
I envisaged the final felling
Left with a story not for the telling
But when the Lion roars
Because it failed to catch the Boars
Then it would seek
To come again on another day
For nature has no reasoning
To ever understand the meaning of finality
For to it
What may be relinquished today?
Tomorrow anew will find time to play

Therefore I shall continue
To write, until I meet my Zion

yesterday's sorrow

sometimes I'm amazed
at how stale and stubborn
I have become
and even out of sync with time
but then since you left
I don't have any reason
to keep track of moment
that comes and goes

I din't even know
summer is gone
fall, too, is now buried
deep in the snow
somehow I am anticipating
the new birth of tomorrow
but here I am still nursing
in my yesterday's sorrow

I am never wishing
that our past would come back
hell no!
it's just that I wish
the wound heals
and my mind forgets
all these pains and heartaches

and I will be in sync
with the world and time
again..like it used to be
before I met you.

Hide not from me

Hide not from me your loving sight
Or parts that stretch to darkest night
Keep not away the broken thought
Or boundaried desires of your soul

Show to me your hurts and cares
The scarred past and challenges met
Bring forward the things that shatter still
And robs you of your loving will

Stay here with me in precious fate
In moment's truth, in caring state
That we may prove your eyes are true
Yours in mine and mine in you

Say This Sooner

Embedded image from another site

She told me to let go it's not that I haven't tried
To get past all the darkness keeping me from the light
When I wake up in the morning before the sunrise
I'm still trapped in this nothing that I've kept inside
So don't be alarmed that I'll have to lie
When you ask if Im ok and I say that Im fine
It's to keep me from falling to pieces or falling too deep
To not see their dead faces when I go back to sleep
I thought it'd get better, but it only gets worse
And the older I get the more echoes are stirred
But please understand I need to clear the air
Free from suggestions and not living in fear
My first defense and armor are my skin and my bones
So I sandblasted my flesh then tore down the walls from my home
Now my friends and my family can see where I've been
I wear this all on my sleeve theres no need to pretend
I've battled addiction, myself, and the end
I fought with my demons, but I didn't win
If I ever felt peace that part of me died in sand
Trapped with the lives that I cannot give back
If you believed theres a Heaven than how would you feel
To know that nothing could save you from going to hell
I should have said this all sooner and made you aware
Because I'll choke to death if I don't clear the air
