Technology and Man's Destiny

The knowledge I have given man
empowers him
to chart his own destiny
Will it be for his betterment
or his detriment
I can only wait and see

About this poem:
Personification of Technology.
Technology itself is not responsible for the ills associated with it.
It is the use of technology. And who decides that?

A Woman's Beauty

A woman's beauty may well surpass her soul -
A woman's beauty won't be revealed to all.
A woman's beauty - for the man who sees it not; -
That man will never see - that's his sad lot.

A woman's beauty - only seen in glimpses-
When two stranger's eyes meet - perhaps on a train;
And as we go to work in the rush hour, -
A quick glance may hold all of her power.

A woman's heart is soft - with a finesse -
The fair sex - and I'll call it a grace; -
Yet her love will go out like a light -
For the man who doesn't treat her right.

Simple breakfast for a simple man

Party girls tumble
tumble from the bars
curving the night
a raucous army
while the men
drawn but circumspect
drain their last drinks
idle back to the boarding houses
to dream of
poster woman
incendiary encounters
a symphony of lust
without end
but knowing
this is reserved for the few
the well dressed
the rich
men of intellect and power
but for the morrow
he'll wake to a simple breakfast
for a simple man

Traffic Jam .......

Sitting on the corner
Watching the poems go by
Brings memories of times
When the traffic was so high
You’d post in the morning
And by night you would return
To search for your write
And comments to learn
But alas your words were gone
Down the avenue
And the poems had built up
The queue very long .........

Through your eyes

Through your eyes
I see the beauty of the sunrise

Through your mind
you teach me to be kind

Through your ears I take the time to listen to the music often not heard to dispel my fears

Through your voice I learn your truth that I may rejoice

Through your touch I am comforted
That I may stop leaning on a crutch

Through your soul I am lifted out of a hole

Through your hand I can take a stand

Through your heart I feel we will never part

Through your truth I am free from every lie I believed hence, no longer decieved

Through your life
in spite of all the strife
I try to learn your ways
even if everything I see seems all in a haze

Through your love I hear the call of the dove

Prepping for persecution

The thing is about these m-RNA vaccines
is that they appear to be non-specific in the site
at which they activate a cell response,
from the muscle the injected material enters the bloodstream
entering cells within the vascular system
which of course feeds the brain
a place where the coronavirus cannot enter
under its usual attack
being nose and throat,
and lungs if all doesn't go well
so as well as other cells in your body
your veins in the brain exude the protein as designed
which blood platelets lock onto, and can causing clotting, while your immune system is fighting the waste on the cell.
All in all its a bit of a gamble approach,
headaches described by many could be due to this clotting
which can have serious effects.
Some will die of the innoculation but they tell us its a greater benefit on balance.
Most but not all would get through this virus without tragic consequences
so do you take the risk or join the guinea-pigs?
Up to you, and how many times would you go through re-vaccinations until your luck runs out?

Anyway if you elect not to be vaccinated it will be interesting to see
how the persecution starts:
"You're irresponsible" ..really..,
"You don't understand" coming from a drone who got told what to say, I'll ask for their training in vaccine development and immunology..
"It went fine for me" ..well super for you, enjoy your highly strung immune system
Perhaps you will have travel restrictions. Vaccine passports?
Every experiment needs a control population, perhaps I'll join them.
Undecided, You?

Just like that……

Cold and bleak my day began
A drizzle of rain not my plan
I trudged along the heavy sand
My body toiling under demand

Crisp the air my lungs draw in
Tears from my nose do begin
Clarity of mind is no sin
As I lift my head to straighten my chin

I glance out across the sea
A shaft of light breaking free
Sending hope down to me
As I ponder on what could be

I reach my climb feeling ok
The dunes fresh but yet to play
Leave a mark with little say
The view amazing in every way

A couple of laps and I’m down again
The clouds dissolved from the rain
The sun a sight of no pain
As I make my way to the watery lane

Wading through salt and sun
Warmth on my back has begun
Winters brisk morning now undone
As I return to where I started from…

Somebody somewhere……..

She sits alone in her own little home
Waiting for the doorbell to ring
There are photos on the wall that she can recall
All the wonderful memories they do bring
There’s a teapot on the table with a cosy named mable
With a plate of homemade cookies to the side
There’s a warmth in this home and even though she’s alone
She has no reason to hide
There’s a hairy old cat that she loves to have a chat
Keeps her company through and through
But it’s the ring of the bell she knows to well
That will lift her spirits new…….

SIETE MODOS (Ladino/djudeo-sefardi)

Siete modos de gizados
se gizá la merenjena
la primera de la gizá
es la vava de Elena
ya la aze vokadikos
i la mete´n una zena
ista komida la yaman
comida de merenjena

A mi tio Zerasi
ke le agrada vever vino,
kon el vino vino vino
muxo i vien a el vino

La segunda ke la gisa
es la mujer del Shamas
la kavaka por adientro
i la inxi d´aromat
ista komida la yaman
la komida la dolmá

La trazerá que la gisa
es mi prima Ester de Chiote
la kavaka por adientro
i la inxi dárroz moti
ista komida la yaman
la komida lalondrote.

La alburnia es zaborida
en kolor y en golor
ven aremos una zena
mos gozaremos los dos
antes ke venga el gosano
i le kite la sabor

En las mezas de las fiestas
siempre briya el jandrajo
ya l´azemos pastelikos,
eyos briyan en los platos
asperando a ser zervidos
con los güevos jaminados.

La salata maljasina
es pastoza i zaborida,
mi vezina la prepara
con muxo azeite de oliva,
istos platos akompanyan
a los rostros de gayinas.

La setena que la gize
es mejor y mas janina
la prepara Filisti,
la hijà de la vezina
ya la mete nel forno
de kaveza à la kozina
kon azeite y kon pimienta
ya la yama una meyína.
