MsContessa: Come to me in my dreams, and then By day I shall be well again! For so the night will more than pay The hopeless longing of the day.
By night I will be with the stars and the moon I will shine a light on the darkness and brighten up the world I will be like a shooting star soring in the sky and out of control I will be the star man from Ziggy star dust and I will meet you all
In general I find that speech or words limit very much that what wants to be expressed, so I am not sure if I would like it if someone read a poem to me.
The only poem that I will never forget is from Joseph Freiherr von Eichendorff. It is called Mondnacht. Many, many years ago my best friend died and it was read at his funeral. If I can say this about a poem, I would say, it is so dear and careful and beautiful. The soul flies down from heaven to the earth and back up into freedom.
In the internet was an English translation:
Moonlit night
It was as if the Sky Had silently kissed the Earth, So that she, in the glimmer of blossoms, Now had to dream of him.
The breeze passed through the fields, The ears of grain waved gently, The forests rustled softly, So starry-clear was the night.
And my sould spread Its wings out wide, And flew through the silent regions As if it were flying home.
Gently Will I kiss your lips And touch you With my finger tips Caressing Each and every curve In hope I’ll touch that Special nerve That stimulates your very core So you’ll keep coming back For more Because I don’t know what I’d do If In my life There was no YOU And so My Love If I should stare Or gently stroke Your hand Your hair It’s just to reassure my mind And so I beg you Please be kind And let me love you One more time And let me love you For all time
I'm sorry it wasn't written for you, Molly, because (it seems) you can appreciate such little thoughtfulnesses. I ALWAYS try to put a little of myself, in my gifts. And a poem is a gift, if not to you, or to someone specifically, to the world.
And I give you this one, because you can "feel". Write me if you'd like to read others. J

?????????????????????????????????????????????????
What can you do that's "BETTER", or more important, than sharing your thoughts, feelings, and time with another person? ESPECIALLY one that you like/love? I have a problem with your priorities, lady.

Thanks for sharing that, Innocentia. I've never read that one before. And I DO like it! VERY nice! Thanks, again.

you judge me so quickly, just because i cannot be won over with false words. Only in the silence can you hear what one thinks. Only in times where you need nothing from them and they nothing from you.If i do not feel loved by someones actions, i do not need their words.
