In the famous words of my pal Mike! "Go with what you got"!
I have seen poor families prosper by digging in with what they "got". Or maybe just a child. But they went with what they had!
Which brings to mind how this saying came up. And since this is a dating site I find it good advice for those looking and not finding but wondering what they can do to improve their status.
We guys used to work trade shows and this fellow Gary was moaning and trying to borrow money because he made a date with a young woman who was a vendor at the show.
Mike looked at him and said, "Dude, you gotta go with what you got"! Gary did and he ended up with the girl!
I have read many blogs of this type saying that we people that love Jesus blog too much and that we should do it in moderation.
I have basically ignored this for the sake of not arguing because CS has already said we can blog about Jesus Christ. Period!
But for the sake of reporting these things in their true position I have taken the last 3 pages of blogs and counted how many blogs were of religion and there were 6, including yours. Four for speaking about Jesus Christ, God or spirituality and 2 against us.
So in the simplest way of proving the outcry simply silly I have taken the total count of these 3 pages at about 70 blogs and divided into the 5 for/against blogs.
Here are the results:0.071428571, or just a little over 7%, are for/against Jesus, God and/or spirituality. But here the bottom line and I will repeat it again. CS said we could and we will.
Just read the other 93% and that should keep you and all the others happy!
I think your being a little too forgiving. The US Government gives, for example, Pakistan billions of dollars. I have a friend there that I communicate with. My friend knows we send foreign aid there and that ONLY the rich politicians get the money. The citizens grovel in poverty.
It chaps my hide to see our government send billions of dollars to help under privileged countries while our own country makes laws to whip these homeless around like a bunch of dogs! Specifically the vets.
1. I never took death hard but I always remembered the joy I felt in Mom, Dad and my sister Juanita and how much I loved them. I view death as a part of life.
2. See above and below in answers 1, 3, 4, 5, & 6.
3. A part of life. It HAS to happen.
4. A part of life. It HAS to happen.
5. Absolutely nothing until they actually experience the matter of death.
6. Set aside money for cremation or will your body to science and they will cremate you for free and send the ashes back to your family. This business of an expensive fancy wancy box to put you into, the crying, sobbing, relief that your dead in a caring or non-caring way, the flowers and fancy wancy box cost is ALL too much for me. Just have a party and celebrate that I'm finally gone or that I was kinda a good guy and dance and have fun. The only requirement is that music has to be Classic Rock and Oldies!
I believe that the American voters are getting tired of all the fighting men that won't do anything because, well, they're fighting.
Women will take over and soon. I saw it in Madeline Albright, who would have made a fantastic President, and I see it in many many women in politics right now. Time is coming.
Your wish is my command. But we weren't fighting or arguing with you. We were trying to reinforce a courage to go out and have fun instead of moping all the time.
Okay! Here it is: "Mimi, do whatever you want". I am sure your way will work and yes you will feel better.
The real story is Mel Brooks "History of the World, Part I" Hee Hee
Excuse the hijack!
@ GG!
Actually think about this and I tell you with Christian love. We cannot stop anyone from stating their opinion. If it is in contradiction to our Christian belief we can only follow God's ways and He gives us all freewill.
If anyone is interested then we should step up and witness. Who knows what an unbeliever may do. They may change their mind like I did.
The Holy Spirit is working on everyone. I am do happy for that!!!
Only you have the answers, but it appears you may be afraid at your age (not that your old but in later years one becomes more dependent on a mate thinking "What will I do?").
An old boss of mine used to raise African Greys so the first pics were easy to identify. That little guy was lucky you came along because as juveniles they are very fragile.
He is going to talk up a storm when he gets into the first couple of years. After that you will swear he's human!
I kinda skimmed over some of the comments and this is the ONLY comment I will make to answer the naysayers and critics of "too much preaching". We as Christians are to take the Good News to every corner of the world!! Amen!!!
AND! The Mods have already said we Christians can blog about Christ whenever and how much we want.
You are one hot young lady! Just be patient and the right guy will sweep you up in his arms!!!
Great picture!!
Hee Hee! I wake up at 4:00 a. m. to get to work by 5:30. I drive 15 miles to work. The company is moving to a bigger location and I will be driving 30 miles very soon.
We will boast about God and there's nothing anyone can do about it. SO, versvia, calli and Theresa, let's just do it. And who says we can? God Almighty himself and the Mods.
The subject of the unbelievers protests have already been addressed and we win. We can talk about God all we want!
RE: Amah!..Cleaning Lady
Thanks for the blog. It made me happy to make your acquaintance albeit on the WWW!I get discriminated against alot but my attitude towards most people remains pretty much the same. I like acknowledging them.
Jesus Christ said, "You may never know when you are speaking to an angel"!
