If you like, go to wikipedia and learn about Mel Blanc. He made a very good living being the different voices of a large variety of cartoon characters, including Bugs Bunny, Barney Rubble, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig. At his death he was worth $25 Million and that would be worth a lot more now. He started in radio.
There is money to be made with voice overs now. But, usually its with a voice that is recognizable to the public. For instance, Ellen (DeGeneres) does voice overs. There's other stars that read books for drivers to listen to.
Perhaps you could host a podcast for gamers ? Have top scorers come in and talk about their tricks for success. But, I would not give up a day job until the income from that exceeds your day job. Focus on a stable income first and with some of the earnings invest in equipment to pull off your dream business, whatever that is.
No one said, that you ladies had to eat more than you do now. You already eat, however, you probably aren't getting paid to do so. If you like, you can change that.
L - May we both live a very long & enjoyable life.
G - If I ever make a comment on a blog of yours, that you can't handle, feel free to delete it. That won't bother me in the least. Instead, it's obvious, that you are enjoying the attention you are getting from keeping it, at my expense. That's not what "friend" does. However, it isn't costing me anything. The whiners can whine all they want. I'm used to their negativity.
Regardless, I was attempting to bring a smile to your face. I apologize, if it didn't achieve that. But, it seemed that your discovery did not happen all that recently.
Either way, you a re not a "loved one", nor a "friend".
By the way, I'm a moderate, not a liberal, not that it's important. Regardless, it's prejudice to judge people that way. Humans are individuals.
Not to my knowledge so far. But, that would come with the samples they get back. If there is life, it would probably be microscopic and in the soil and/or ice.
While I understand where you are coming from in general, perks usually go up, as salary goes up, not the opposite. In your case you took less money, because something else was more important to you. Regardless, this particular example is getting paid more money for the exact same work, at the same place, and that is not a bad thing. Indeed, it helps people be less 'living pay check to pay check'. It would be great if the minimum wage rises.
Put people on lists and get an annual fee for that. Just don't promise them anything, other that they are on the waiting list give them a large number, if you like.
By the way, for only $25 annual fee, I will put you on a list to get a new Ferrari.
T - For those photos displayed here, I didn't run. Indeed, the ground was frozen and I crunched & plodded my way around. I didn't need to run.
When I originally met that herd, many years ago, I ran to keep up with them and convince them, that their running was not going to get rid of me. I wanted them to get used to me and not fear me. Even back then, I only took photos after they, & I, stopped running.
I have a MUCH heavier lens now, and I'm older. Thus, it would likely be more difficult to run like a deer, carrying the "Big Ma" lens. I used to use a Sigma 170 - 500mm which is much lighter than the one I use now. There's a lot more 'glass' in my current lens.
