I had a softball game that night in NJ. It was a playoff game. We played in South Amboy, which is somewhat close to NY across the bay. One of my teammates, a pitcher, worked in one of the towers that went down. He showed up to the game a little late and we all hugged him, relieved that he made it alive. He left work early to ensure he made the game. It probably saved his life.
I also started a long term relationship that night. I had gone out with the gal once and she called me that night. She was afraid and didn't want to be left alone. I spent that night with her and quite a few more in a row. We eventually lived together for 6 years.
mic - what I believe, is that gods are an archaic fanciful figment of imagination. I see ongoing DNA & RNA evidence, and also fossil evidence for evolution. I don't see any evidence for creation as a method. Indeed, the bible is both contradicting and outright wrong in many cases. I don't see any ongoing god activity. I see no proof of gods. However, people should be free to believe whatever fantasies they want, as long as they do not harm others in doing so.

Well before my time, and was never an area of musical interest. I have an older friend, who used to be a baseball coach, who is very much into do wop music. He probably knows of them.
