I sincerely believe that the birds feel differently about why they are here, as do I. That does not mean we can't enjoy them for what they are. One can enjoy life whether or not they believe in gods.
I think you may misunderstand. I'm not against people believing whatever they want, as long as they aren't hurting others. I don't have to discredit god believers, it's intrinsic, and funny. Again, I am a fan of irony.
Free will doesn't cut it. According to hy's meme, He is in control. So, despite free will everything could still turn out great with his control. However, free will indicates, He is not in control.
Blanket statements like that are sometimes inappropriate. Just because you love someone, does not mean that you should remain in a bad relationship. You cannot change someone without them willing to do what it takes to change and to make the actual change(s). Sometimes breaking up with them actually leads to motivating that person to make changes. Sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes 'changes' are only temporary. Relationships are as different as the people in them.
Each person has a right to decide what is appropriate for themself.
