It is every much a vaccine, as a flu vaccine, or shingles vaccine. With the mRNA versions, the difference is that instead of delivering the antigen directly, a mRNA coding for the antigen protein is delivered instead.
EVERY vaccine could be considered a medical device. Indeed, both the needle and the syringe are medical devices, whether they are used for vaccinations, or not.
It seems that people still talk, even when they don't know what they are talking about, and what they do is mislead others.
Recovering from an actual viral infection weakens the body in it's fight for survival. As we have seen with Covid-19, it is a fight between the virus surviving and the host surviving. There can be lasting side-effects to that.
In addition the immunity one gets from either a vaccine OR recovering from infection does not last forever. Just because you survived one variant, does not mean you will survive next year's variant. Indeed, just because you survived one variant, does not mean you will survive the same variant next year. This is why vaccines not only include antigens from previous variants, but also the newer ones each year.
With regard to the current Covid-19 vaccines, the body is responding to the foreign spike protein. However, the body does not have to actually fight to survive, as it would if it were the complete virus. The virus can't kill you, because it is not included in the vaccine. Thus, for the vast majority of people, the vaccine is FAR safer than attempting to survive an actual infection, and the results last about as long, as for those who were lucky enough to have survived infection.
Thank you for posting that. Wow ! Russia, Mexico & Thailand are really getting slammed. It really indicates a need for world cooperation, something of a challenge in an 'us versus them' mentality . If there is a hotbed somewhere, it will eventually spread elsewhere.
The worst part, is that many of the vocal anti-vaccine misinformationists are actually vaccinated, but not letting it be known. They simply don't care about the lives of the people they mislead.
That's very sad. I don't wish death & suffering on anyone. If only he had listened to a pandemic expert, instead of trusting in a non-existant god he had never seen.
L - sorry to disappoint you, that I am not on here 24/7. However, I am a very busy person. Regarding your challenge of posting evidence, I already did so on the other Delta blog. Please read it there. I am not posting it on every blog on here. And it is not my responsibility to serve you, nor meet your silly demands.
I got news for you. My neighbor recently bought a brand new Mustang, and believe it or not, it has a turbo 4 cylinder. A 4 ?!?! Yes. The weirdest aspect, is this guy races cars, not that one though.
I am not familiar with the event. But, unless there is social distancing incorporated into all aspects of the event, I tend to agree with you. It's not yet the time to bring masses of people together in the same place.
Regarding the flu being down question - there already was a flu vaccine. We had to await development of the Covid-19 vaccines. I'm guessing due to the hot topic of Covid-19, that a lot of people got vaccinated for the flu, trying to get as immune as possible, hoping there would be some immunity crossover and yes, the socially distancing, wearing masks & staying home and avoiding anyone sneezing likely reduced transmission of both the flu and the common cold. I heard that was down too.
Fauci actually demolished Rand Paul, not the other way around. He stated that Paul knew nothing about what he was talking about. Paul isn't a virologist. He doesn't understand the science involved.
RE: I foresee a booster shot in your future...
