Genetically, Only a Small Percentage of Humans is Uniquely Human

Back when Darwin was alive, natural selection was only considered a theory.
Nowadays it's a forgone conclusion by anyone who understands it,
It's extremely subtle at most moments, but over a huge period of time, it is often quite additive
and appears dramatic.

RE: Kitchen Adventures once again

I am certain, that "a dog will find" you, and be darn glad it did. dancing dog

What happened with the one, that you inherited from a neighbor ?

RE: Enchanting!

heart wings

RE: Kitchen Adventures once again

I bet you would have made an innovative food scientist.

No mention of the dogs ??

Our Second Moon....sort of.

Well, that was a rather....cheesy comment. grin

RE: Understanding Breakthrough Infections Following mRNA SARS-CoV-2 Vaccination

The data clearly demonstrates, that not only are you better protecting yourself by being fully vaccinated, but also those you come in contact with.

RE: Texas Says Over 80% Of September’s Covid Deaths Were Among Unvaccinated

That's extremely significant and AFTER the Delta variant took hold.
It will likely get even better when the vaccines are updated to include antigens (or mRNA coding for antigens)
to the newer variants, including Delta.

The bottom line is that embracing political agenda over science has literally been killing people.
Hopefully, at least some of the survivors will learn from this data to embrace science, especially when it comes to one's health, which is very important.

RE: Luciferase, And You

It had nothing to do with arrogance. It had to do with the fact that I neglected to include the close quote command in the original comment. I did include it in the second post, which was exactly the same, except for that close quote command. Of course, you deleted the latter corrected one, instead of the original.
No big deal to me though.

RE: Luciferase, And You

Even NEWSMAX debunked Robinson's claims OVER A WEEK AGO !!

Right-wing media outlet Newsmax had no choice on Tuesday but to issue two statements. One came from Elliot Jacobson, Newsmax’s executive vice president and chief content officer:

Newsmax is a strong proponent that Covid 19 vaccines are overarchingly safe and effective. while at the same time raising concerns that mandates infringe on personal liberty and privacy. We have seen no evidence to suggest LUCIFERASE or LUCIFERIN are present in any vaccines or that they are used as any sort bioluminescent marker.

And here’s the other, from parent company Newsmax Media:

Newsmax strongly believes and has reported that the Covid 19 vaccines are safe and effective. We do not believe the vaccines contain any toxic materials or tracking markers, and such false claims have never been reported on Newsmax. The many medical experts appearing on Newsmax have supported the use of the vaccine.

RE: Quarter-mile mile speed record...

However, perhaps Leno's chin arrived there quicker than the other driver's. laugh

RE: Apparently we are all living inside a Hollywood fictional movie.

Their concept is so easily debunked, it's literally ridiculous.
If it were true, the vaccinated would be emitting light in the dark.
But, we don't. Even if we did, it would be a very poor tracking medium.
Our skin isn't transparent and we would compete with fireflies. laugh
Plus, how would you be able to tell one individual from another. rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Human nature...

Exactly ! thumbs up

RE: Human nature...

People who can't accept reality rarely feel well for long.
So, they do everything in their power to deny or draw attention away from reality.
But, it's a failed effort, as reality eventually ends up biting them hard.
So, they take it out on others, especially when the others are right. head banger

Covid-19 deaths getting redder and redder, Increasing in the red counties and states.

Continued from above and finished below;

RE: More RUST aka the mouth of Trump has spoken...

A lot less people would realize how stupid Trump is, if he would keep his mouth shut.
However, he continually makes the determination easy.
Being loud, brash, corrupt and stupid is not a good combination.
But, he is, who he is, That's why his attorneys will not allow him to testify without it being written by his
attorneys.

RE: She's Caucasian with blonde hair and green eyes...

W - Since the messages were "identical", was it surprising, that "both were long winded" ?
I just felt it was funny, that you added that last part. laugh

RE: Just another Sunday

I'm glad you made it home without an accident and that the vehicle is being repaired.
Brakes are important.

How nice to see a swan family. Perhaps a seal will be viewed next time, after the brakes are repaired, of course. head banger

Congrats to Atlanta and their fans

Hey, it's your place. Take control. First lock up the remote and then...
"After the tree is decorated. I have a great surprise for you.'

Yesterme

Congrats to Atlanta and their fans

g - you didn't need cable to watch the World Series. It was on network TV, FOX to be exact.
You probably could have got it with a digital antenna, which are a one time small expense.

RE: Quest for an elusive soulmate...

Mathematically, the odds are MUCH lower, if you look at it from a different angle.
"Soulmate" assumes, that there is only one of THE ONE.
Think how many people there are in the world and only one of those is your "soulmate".
What would be the odds that person would even be on CS, let alone respond to you ? dunno

The odds are much greater that your soulmate in not on CS, since most of the world is not.

RE: Profile Photo - A Matter Of Debate

It's certainly up to the individual, as to whether to post a photo or not.
It's up to the site, as to what are the rules regarding that photo.

I like having a photo of myself, because it rapidly identifies my blogs to the readers as belonging to me
with just a glance.

While I can certainly understand the reasons you choose not to post a photo,
if a motive for being on this site includes dating, you would likely attract more candidates with a photo of yourself. However, that is somewhat less important, if you are the person who initiates contact.

So to each their own. cheers

Yesterme

You are quite welcome t tip hat

Yesterme

He's certainly had an amazing career with a lot of hits along the way.
I guess Sir Duke would be my favorite.
But, just for you, PTL live;

Yesterme

I certainly enjoyed it. Perhaps others wouldn't. dunno

RE: Creation or Evolution?

Because species evolve to exploit a niche. The environment is not universal on Earth.
It's not even universal in the same forest. Plus, the environment changes over time.
In addition there is genetic diversity not limited to differences between species, but even within the same species.

RE: Can I do what you do?

However, they would be of low quality and fall part upon inspection.
One is far better off, not buying them.

Ariana Grande

I don't care about that.
I just don't want people waiting for me in person
to come outside and follow me around
everywhere I go.
I'd never be able to take any nature photos, or enjoy my life other ways.

Ariana Grande

I'm glad, that I'm not famous.

Ariana Grande

Thanks for that info C.
I just saw it in the news and I thought it was humorous.
