I can see that some people got black's first move correct. As Ff pointed out, the white knight is essentially pinned to prevent loss of the queen. Thus, moving black's c pawn up one to c6 is the right move. However, what's next ?
Suppose white's response is to move it's b pawn forward 2 spaces to b4, thus threatening black's bishop. What should be black's next 2 moves in response ? Depending upon the situation, some players would argue, that a bishop is slightly more valuable than a knight. So, is an exchange the right way to go in this case ?
You got the first move right. How about black's next 2 moves ?
That's a very good point K. However, this is one of the reasons there is a surplus of money maintained by the Social Security fund. It can sustain existence for some time. However, it certainly can't sustain making payouts without payments to it for a very long time. As you point out, it is "taking a hit". It's all the more reason not to decrease it's source of funds. Trump's ineffective handling of the epidemic and his horrendous presidency continues to do damage to the USA on many levels.
That's a very good point OG. More parents are going to have to find & pay (in most cases) a non-family member to watch their children for them while they work and the grandparents work. That's another added expense to the parents and more opportunity for questionable people to have access to young children.
If the stream of financing for Social Security is cut off, each individual is going to have to set up their own retirement savings into investments. But, it will eliminate the 6% contributed from the employer and that's 1/2 of the amount. The other big problem, is that, unfortunately, most people will spend the money, rather than save it.
Combining these 2 issues will result with most people being unable to retire and have to continue to work until they die. Obviously, this is a lot worse than the current situation and should be stopped from occurring. Hopefully, Trump will not be re-elected and no future president will try to destroy Social Security.
The temporary cut is a congress approved 2% cut. Trump wants to "eliminate" the 6.2% payroll tax "if re-elected". (see the video of Trump stating this in the link provided in the blog). This would destroy Social Security.
It's no secret, that the richest republicans have been trying to eliminate Social Security for a long time. Trump is their tool to do so.
Note that the white rook can't take the black bishop, because then the queen can check the king and after the rook blocks the check, Queen takes Rook, checkmate.
So, white gets a rook & a knight without giving up anything.
If the hedge clipper crime was an armed robbery, and especially if anyone (other than him) was injured, I can somewhat understand the excessive sentence. Otherwise, it is extremely harsh. I've never heard of someone getting life, for less than murder. That's usually the only crime that warrants such an extreme sentence, and after 20 years ???
RE: Fried Apples
Bella is fairly unique.I never heard of a dog, that you had to tell it to eat, especially more than once.
I bet the other one chows down.
