I don't pretend to be someone I'm not and I'm taking someone as he is. For me having things in common and wanting the same things is the basis. Otherwise it won't happen for me.
It is probably different for every person. Just keeping you wits about it is the main thing.
You are a single, well educated women who can work for her living.
There should be nothing you couldn't do as in studying further to change careers or apply for a job in any other country. If you'll find a job in Dubai (as many others did) you simply can move there and see how it works for you.
That makes it understandable for me RCS. I have changed a good few things in my life, one of them is cut out people who made me feel bad and tried to use others. It's good to be helpful, but not good to let other people affect you badly.
This should be fun and not bring you down. I wish you all the best and it's great that you do what you do. Don't let anything get you down.
Renewable energy hopefully is the future, but I don't think it is enough to fulfill everyone's energy needs at the moment.
I'm thinking of electricity, in Germany they want to stop producing electricity from coal and also get rid of nuclear energy - which is fine, but there are people pointing out that it is not really realistic to achieve that.
It is the way to go, I was thinking about a new heating system and would have gone with something else than oil (the current system is ok and a new one too expensive) and things like heat exchange systems or solar are an alternative.
There hasn't that much happened for cars yet, but electric cars are being produced, although not too many around here.
I hope you'll find a place your are happy in. Everyone has different preferences and hopefully you can find something that fulfills the need of your son and yourself.
Everyone who posts knows that they might get opinions that they don't like. I met some great people on CS who are supportive, wise, good fun and someone I can bounce ideas off and talk to. This is a 2-way street btw.
Sometimes moving can be part of going for a new job, so not being tied down to a location is a big advantage.
I was living in 7 different places in the last 10 years and all I wanted was a home. I have that now and I'm looking forward to it, but I do know that it can be a problem with jobs in the future.
If YOU don't want to settle down simply don't. Best of luck with your move.
I don't know if it hits the topic of your blog, but if everyone takes responsibility for their actions and simply takes other people into account, we should have more good than bad.
Hi LJ and everyone, all is good here apart from the weather.
Life has it's ups and downs and as long I have more "up time", I'm ok.
Having a visitor for the weekend from abroad to do some sightseeing with and someone's birthday to celebrate. Things are busy, but no reason to complain.
DC answered the first part, my guess on the second part is ego - some can't handle people not agreeing with them or making them look bad. Some posters are only active in the blogs and not on threads as you can't delete anything there.
It's just busy and will be the next couple of month and that's even before I start a course that I just think I need for my job.
If I want to spoil myself I buy some tapas, a good book and just go to bed (with a heating blanket) Cuddling up with himself on a Sunday morning is some time warp anyway.
RE: The Narsing Flower
I'm not too worried how you dress the porcupines Cat, just more how to get some aprons off!
