Un - teapot it is. Would moddom like a tea-strainer with that?
My kitchen floor is awash with tea, and I have learned that it isn't quite as easy as it looks to pour boiling tea from one pot to another when they are several feet apart
Diova, I'm going to let Tru do the honours and make our tea. He's been accredited by our resident Irish teapot, after all.
And I learned something truly useful today. A day-old jam doughnut can be popped in the microwave for 10 seconds and will turn into something absolutely cordon bleu, fragrant and soft with bubbling jam in its heart. You probably knew that already. If you didn't, you can thank me after you try it.
Lemon tea, Tru? Used to be able to buy a drink in a can called Lemontini which was just that, and very good too. Here in UK? Only in SA? anyone know it?
Tru, a true traditionalist and another hand up for the loose tea group - Imback, Molly, Tru and you know what, you all gave the best descriptions so you obviously know what you're talking about.
I shall go snip open all those little bags, and then I can sew them together too. Win win.
Molly, I knew about Twinings Breakfast Tea, and Earl Grey (which smells as if it should be dabbed behind the ears, not drunk) and builders tea (the office bags I got, I think) and that there were some other options for foodies.
Molly, between you and Mimi I can see a cookbook coming up. She'll need to do the videos since the blurring as you whisk through the directions could puzzle some buyers.
Let me know if you need any marketing ideas. I'm a WHIZZ.
Alterboysan, not sure I can do all of that without collapsing into helpless giggles. I will try to make them geisha-style giggles
Yup, redundant, send tickets but I may sell them on eBay so not sure who will actually arrive, would that be a problem? I will brief them fully on the tea-making ceremony first
once had guests I knew liked rooibos tea so I made that for them, they looked a little unenthusiastic about the pink brew - about 10 minutes later I said oh this tea will be stewed by now, I'll make fresh
No, no, they said eagerly, and happily drank the extremely dark red liquid. Tastes bitter to me when it has stewed for too long?
Would you like a cup of tea?
which one what where?I rather fancy the idea of one of those Victorian ones with all the frills and ruffles
