I went through a whole decade of same job, same house, same utterly deadly dull life, so I was quite unsettled when change started, got more used to it now.

You know how it is, though, you see a friend after a gap of a few years and they haven't changed one tiny bit but the kid you remember as knee high is now taller than you both!

In 1988, two Laotian men walked into a Los Angeles bar where a singer, who was also from an Asian country, was entertaining patrons.
