You needed to get a lawyer who specializes in international fiancée situations to work for you. It all would’ve cost you about 34.99 and pint of JD... and ten years of ball and chain.
I don’t think one can truly say men are less emotional than women. Men hold a lot inside. Tears may not fall as easily from a man, but there comes times when a sadness may be so strong, he can’t help it. He may not show it to all, but there are times in life.
As for first love, relationships? I think when people break up for whatever reason or end their first love or second, third or any relationship that they were so emotionally invested in, it hurts. It might feel like one has the flu, a fever, depression, weakness. It may last for days, months, for some even a year or more.
But, with time we move on, even though some past relationships may leave an emotional scar in our hearts.
However, the day a person finds another true love or their greatest true love, or as some say, the one they were destined to be with, then they’ll think, “All those heartaches of the past were obstacles, trials I went through to bring me to this point in life, to this beautiful love I have now.”
For those who’ve not found a true love since their last relationship break up. They must somehow move on, wake up to every new day with a hopeful outlook, not only for love, but for everything in life. We just keep on keeping on, and hopefully things will get better, but we ourselves must contribute to making each day better. Nothing is handed to us. We start with ourselves and within ourselves.
Anyways, wether you’re open to the idea, ready for love, not even thinking of it, nor considering it. If you’ve written it off as impossible or “forget it” or you’re shy of it. When that right someone comes along, and Cupid strikes you both with that arrow of love. Forget everything! You’ll be in love again.. there’s no force stronger.
I think when you truly experience real love, you’ll definitely understand, love is all encompassing.. it’s the most beautiful feeling in the world.. and any obstacles to prevent it will be overcome. Love, as they say, conquers all.. no ifs, buts or exceptions.
I’m of the belief, that if a guy brings a lady a three day old service station hamburger, it will impress her more than flowers or a gold ring. Heck yeah!
And another thing, maybe this is for a different blog. Would you get involved with someone who has tattoos with the names of past and recent lovers? 20 to 50 tattoos or more?
But half seriously, anybody at any age is capable of falling in love. If and when they should meet the right person, and if that force of love should strike them, if that great glow of joy should engulf their hearts, soul, mind, body, and everything, everywhere, their world suddenly feels like a love wonderland.
At that time, it won’t matter what anyone else says, negative or positive or polls or studies or whatever. It won’t even matter what they themselves may have thought or said in the past. They’ll be in love and nothing else will matter except the person they love and the great feeling they’re feeling.
They’ll jump in and enjoy the experience. And why not? We all only live once. And when love truly grabs you strongly, there’s no way to resist the greatest force of our lives.
I’m going to post a blog later tonight, and a poem in poetry corner too. Right now, my iPad is running down on charge. I gotta recharge it. But, I’ll be back later.
I also think the NFL’s Lions and Raiders teams should be accountable to their fans. I think they’ll both be in the championship this season. I bet my car on it already in Vegas. Cool, huh?
The elite/wealthy get to be sugar daddies too. They have a website “Seeking Arrangement,” that is for young women looking for usually older wealthy sugar daddies, to live with them at a weekly or monthly allowance. I saw it on the news one day.
Sheesh! What is this world coming to? I gotta sell a lot of aluminum cans to do something like that.
I remember that now that you remind me. Wen was always a great friend! I think of that situation now, and i can’t imagine him having any other user I.D. than Wenever. I’m glad they allowed him to keep it.
He was The Wen, and Wen lives on in our memories of him.
Thank you, Nam, for your diligent work in bringing us this news about our great friend, Wen.
Rest In Peace in heaven my friend Wen. I’ll miss you. I remember when we joked about having a yard sale at your place. I remember when you often referred to a Christmas story I wrote about a squirrel. I remember many great times you brought to us all here. You’ll live on in our hearts and memories.
You never argued with anyone here, always just friendly, caring, best intentions. Always a true friend.
I’ll certainly pray for you and your many loved ones, here and there. God bless you forever, my friend.
RE: What would it take for you to fall in love again?
